Here's the third chapter!

Enjoy and comment!

The fairy of warfare stood at the center of the training ground with composure. There was no sign of exhaustion on her. Despite the rambunctious combat she underwent, Heidi remained stoic and sophisticated. After the sparring match was over, a single applause was heard. Codatorta, the head instructor of Red Fountain, approached Heidi with an impressed smile.

"Well done, young lady. You are a formidable combatant," praised Codatorta.

"Thank you," replied Heidi, in her mellow voice.

After giving his praise to her, Codatorta looked away from Heidi and frowned at his students. "And as for you lads! You call yourselves heroes?! I am utterly disappointed in you all! The rest of you displayed how lacking you are! After this vacation ends, I want to see everyone of you improved! I will extend training sessions by two hours and put up more combat exams!"

The upperclassmen groaned in protest and rose from the floor.

A specialist with short, dark blonde hair and dark blue eyes objected, "Sir, don't you think you're being unfair?!"

"Quit your whining, Mason! I am doing this for everyone's benefit!"

"Our skills in combat are far more superior than students in different military academies. We don't need an extension in our training sessions!"

"I've heard enough. Everyone's dismissed."

Codatorta turned around and walked away. After the head instructor left the training ground, the upperclassmen quickly focused their attention on Heidi. However, the attention she was receiving was unpleasant. Majority of the specialists looked at her with contempt. Despite the hostility, Heidi was not fazed by their looks.

"Just what the hell are you?" questioned Mason, who hovered over Heidi by three inches. Heidi stood still and remained silent. "Not going to say a word, huh? Do you think that you're better than all of us? You're just a conceited show-off."

"Hey, take it easy, Mason," said Sky, defending Heidi, "Don't blame Heidi for what happened. Codatorta didn't extend our training sessions because we were beaten. It was because we were lacking."

A specialist with burgundy red hair and light brown eyes stepped forward and backed up Mason, "It is her fault, don't try to defend her! For the past five months, we've been working our asses off, sharpening our skills with blood, sweat, and tears. We deserve to get rewarded, but instead we have to suffer more because of her!"

"Come on, Kyle. Not you too," groaned Brandon.

"This girl should know her place and stick to being a fairy, not a savage brute!" insulted Mason, which majority of the upperclassmen agreed to.

"Take that back!" hollered a female voice. Everyone turned their heads and saw an infuriated Stella march over with the Winx following her, "Heidi's not a savage brute!"

"Oh, really now? You disagree on what I just said?" asked Damon, in a mocking tone.

"How dare you insult Heidi?! She is nowhere near a brute!" shouted Stella, placing her arms on her waist.

"You should really get your eyes checked, princess. It's unhealthy to stare into the sun for a long period of time."

"Why, you-"

Before Stella could pounce on Damon, Brandon wrapped his arms around her and prevented her from doing so.

Mason smirked at Stella and frowned at Heidi, "I'll give you a warning. Don't interfere with our training. If you come here again, we won't go easy on you. I, especially, won't show you any mercy." Suddenly, Layla snorted at his threat. Mason turned his attention to Layla and asked, "Is something funny to you?"

"You're so pathetic. All of you are. You're just embittered you got your ass kicked by a girl. It's getting old and sickening to hear the same stereotypes of how girls and fairies should behave: be ladylike, submissive, and only adhere to magic. Everyone here just can't stand the idea of a girl standing side by side with a guy. The only point you're making here is that you suffer from a severe inferiority-complex."

"Inferiority-complex?! Why you-" shouted Kyle.

Mason stopped Kyle from causing a major scene and looked at Layla disdainfully, "I'm not going to waste my time and energy on a bitch like you." Kyle stepped back and cooled off. Then, Mason turned to the Winx and the Specialists, "Defend her as much as you want. It still doesn't change the fact that she's isn't a girl." Mason finally focused his attention on Heidi and continued, "She's a freak."

After Mason and Kyle left, the rest of the upperclassmen left the training ground. The Winx and the Specialists were left alone. The fairies felt more offended than the heroes. Heidi stood three feet away from the group, silent and unfazed.
