For disclaimer see chapter 1.

The closer the ship got to Abregado-taki, the more restless Karissa became. She hated the cold, almost as much as she hated the guy who was driving the ship. Anakin had been surprisingly quiet after their fight. It was like he knew the silent treatment got on her nerves. She didn't do well during quiet time as a child, not that she had really gotten any better at it as a teenager. Her foot was moving so the heel of her boot made some noise when it hit the ground. The background noise of her foot and the hum of the ship would have to do, for now.

On the other hand, the mindless tapping was started to get to Anakin. Why did she always have to make that much noise? 'She just likes to hear herself' Anakin answered his own question. 'Since she can't talk, she has to make some kind of noise.'

Looking to his right, he watched Obi-Wan typing something into the computer. Anakin knew there was no way he would get away with calling her out with his master around. It had never stopped him before so he wasn't sure why his brain was telling him to stop. He shook his head to quiet, the voice that wanted to spare Karissa.

Glancing back at the cabin door, Karissa was trying to see if Cedra had awoken. At least that would give her someone to talk to. Unfortunately, there was no signs of life behind the door. Blowing hair out of her face, she looked back at Obi-Wan. Apparently he was afraid of flying, even more so with Anakin driving, not that Karissa could blame him for that. He hadn't said very much and if he didn't break this damn silence she would not be responsible for her actions.

"Master Kenobi how much further?" Karissa asked, almost innocently, knowing Anakin was about to blow.

As he tightened his grip on the steering wheel, she knew she was right. Anakin rolled his eyes. He swore to anyone in the heavens that if she was going to start the "Are we there yet" game, this ship would have one less passenger.

"We have another three hours," Obi-Wan said, as Karissa swore he was turning green at the thought.

"Well I am going to get some sleep then," Karissa stood as she stretched. "Wake me up when we get there."

'FINALLY' Anakin thought to himself.

"What a good idea. Anakin you have been driving for ten hours. Go and get some rest. I will wake you two when we arrive." Obi-wan said as he stood and walked over to the drivers seat.

If there was anything to run into, Anakin was sure he would have. Rest in the same room with her? Karissa would probably pull a knife on him in the dark, He had no doubt that she would use it to. On the other hand, he wouldn't be able to contain himself if her smart mouth started again.

Hands tightening, Karissa felt her heart literally stop. Sleep in the same room as him? Anakin would take advantage of the situation and strangle her as she slept. There is no way she would make it to that god forsaken ice ball if she had to sleep in the same room as him.

"But master-" Anakin started.

"No buts. You will need your rest if you plan to make the hike to the stolen goods." Obi-Wan said sternly.

Their worlds were upside down. Karissa slumped over and stomped into the small second room. Anakin wanted to argue with his master, but for once, he happened to be right. He was tired. Slowly following the brunette, Anakin grumbled to himself, knowing his argument would do no good with his master.

Once the door shut, Karissa turned to face him. She looked just about as thrilled in their current situation as he felt. "Look Skywalker, I don't trust you and you don't trust me. Lets be fair about this. We leave our lightsabers in the bathroom. Its the only way I am going to get any sleep. I wouldn't feel safe knowing you had a point object you could stab me with."

Anakin was almost stunned. She must have been tired or broken. She never compromised with him before. Though, he wasn't in total agreement with her idea. He had never slept without his lightsaber since he had received it and it didn't feel right. On the other hand, they would be even and she wouldn't have a sword she could stab him with.

Going over to the bathroom door, Anakin grudgingly agreed to her plan. Only one of them would fit in at a time, but they both put their lightsabers in the sink. As Karissa left, the door closed behind her. She grabbed a pan from her bag and set a small contraption so if either of them opened the door, it would fall to the floor, waking the other up.

"Why the hell do you have a pan?" Anakin asked.

"Do you think they have food on that ice ball?" Karissa snapped back. "I came prepared so you can watch me eat."

Walking over to the one side of the room, Karissa laid in a bunk. Anakin wanted to retort, but at the same time he really wanted to sleep. So he took the high road and went to the other side of the room. He climbed onto the top bunk and faced outward. Better to see if she decided to murder him in her sleep.

Though after a few moments he could hear her soft breathing. She had fallen asleep already. Anakin laid there in his bunk and thought about what is first mission would be like, listening only to Karissa's soft snoring.

A/N: I know it had been a year since I updated and I feel so horrible! I swear I didn't abandon it. I had writers block like crazy. My Star Wars inspiration was lost. It is back now! I will finish this story! Now, review and I will post again soon (not a year from now I promise.)
