Requiem of Titans

Wastelander90

I do not own Teen Titans or Danny Phantom. If I did then they would both be so much more awesome.

First of all, I am back. For those of you who did not read the story before 2013, welcome. For those of you who are returning again, I am very sorry for keeping all of you waiting. I had to go through some stuff, but now I am back. This is going to be an adventure for all of us. Also, to Thesightstillhauntsme, I am specifically sorry for the wait.

Next, I need to clarify that this will follow the TV show Teen Titans, but also use some of the New Teen Titans comic book lore. I will not be adding in Kid Flash or Wonder Girl or anyone else.

Lastly an update since we last saw this Fanfic, I lost the original storyboard. Now we are going to sorta go blind into this and see what happens. If the story is still liked after this then hurray! If not then it's back to the drawing board. Lets get started again!

Chapter 2

DP-Ground Zero-TT

Men in white hazardous environment suits were the first people to actually step foot on the ashes of the old city of Amity Park in almost a year. These men were what remains of the guys in white, an anti-ghost branch of the united states government. After the fallout had settled, the GiW found one Anti-Ectoplasm Missile missing from their arsenal. They would deny officially deny any involvement with the city's downfall, but to avoid sanctions to their funding they had to lay off a large portion of their staff. It was the price to pay for continued operation.

One of the H-EV operatives had his gauger counter inform him the levels of background radiation had dissipated enough in the area to allow samples of the rock to be tested.

"Right here is a good spot to test for signs of ectoplasm, agent O," Agent K said to his counterpart.

The other nodded and began to run some diagnostics through another device he had on his belt. It measured only a rate of .99 percent ectoplasm in the atmosphere.

"Atmospheric ectoplasmic activity is as low here as the outer rim. Lets hope the rock composites yield better data," Agent O said.

Little did they know they were being watched from a far, from a force so powerful that it transcends time itself…

DP-Ghost Zone, one year ago-TT

Danny had only ever felt this kind of pain once before. It was like when he had been fried by the ghost portal. He hadn't the faintest idea how he had ended up floating face up in the ghost zone, but at least he still existed. Even though everyone and everything he had ever held dear to him was gone now. He continued to drift on the sinews of the zone until he felt a presence approach him.

"This time the prey comes to me, whelp!" A mechanical voice bellows from a distance. As skulker approaches he immediately sees Danny and feels for the first time in a while. "By the huntsman, what happened to you?" He asks before jetting away.

Danny had been glad that skulker left him without much more fuss. Movement still hurt him a lot. This concerned Danny quite a bit, considering he usually could heal from most things in the ghost zone rather quick. Yet this still felt different, images of the lightening and ectoplasm that invaded his body came to mind. All he could hope to do is float through the zone until someone helps him, whether they are friend or foe will be determined soon.

DP-Titans Tower, Past-TT

Raven Roth was in her room meditating as she normally did before she drifted off to sleep. She would envision the towers of Azarath, and feel happiness in the memories. This was the only time that she could afford herself the luxury of emotions. When a voice cut into her meditation, she felt annoyance. At first it was small and distant. She sighed and chose to ignore it. As it grew nearer and thus louder she had no choice but to face it.

"What do you want?" The empath Raven asked.

A voice cut into the shadows saying, "I need help, and all those qualified will not listen."

Raven pondered the meaning of the words the voice spoke and sighed in the real world, "Not interested."

"Lives are at steak, on a scale that rivals the return of Trigon himself," the voice spoke with greater urgency than she expected.

Raven was now curious yet still remained very weary. She wasn't sure she could trust someone, or something that came to her in meditation. Regardless, she thought she might listen to what he had to say. "Show yourself, then I might hear what you have to say," she spoke bravely, hiding her own fear.

From the shadows came forth a man with green skin that looked to be in his late Twenties or early Thirties. He had a small amount of chin scruff and a scar on his left eye that looks like a lightning bolt. He wore a long robe that had a clock in it, of all the strangest things.

"I am Clockwork, master of time, young Raven Roth. I need you, or someone like you, to help a dear friend of mine. He is hurt badly and only an empaths powers can help," the man said calmly.

Raven wasn't sure about this, to say the least. A lot of red flags went up when he spoke. Firstly, didn't lore suggest Clockwork was an old powerful ghost? Surely he would have the power to help his 'friend' if that were true. Secondly, how did he know her name? Maybe this could be slotted into the 'He is clockwork' category. Or maybe he is one of the titans villains in disguise. And lastly, how did he know of her powers?

This mattered very little however, as she found herself looking at a series of doors in an empty green void. She had heard of other dimensions, but this must have been one called the ghosts zone.

"I only said I would hear you out!" Raven screamed at the emptiness.

That's when something nudged her from behind. As it hit her, it made a grunting noise. She turned to see a young man with white hair and boils all over his face. The parts of his outfit that weren't torn and shown skin also showed signs of boils. He was in a lot of pain, but you didn't need an empath to tell you that.

"Fine, I'll help him. You had better have some answers though," Raven muttered under her breath as she extended her hands out to the boy. That is when all the pain in the boy went from his body to hers. She could feel something trying to destroy his very core, only to be replaced by some substance in the zone itself. After about a minute, he no longer had any boils and was no longer in pain. That is when he opened his eyes to see his savior…

End of Chapter 2

Here is a little A/N for you all. Firstly, no I wasn't hoarding all the chapters to release once finished. School, work, and traveling restricted me from writing. Not going to go into detail there. Anyone who wants to put their input may, but I ask you to use an account. I can't answer Mr. Annons questions. Yes I know its short, but I'm putting this back out there to test the waters again. I might re-edit the first two to fit better but I wont destroy it completely. And finally, to my story I say welcome to 2015!
