Finally updating. Yayyy! This story is definitely turning in another way. The characters mentioned before might or might not be included, but this story NOW, will not revolve around the "Golden Trio", but actually around Shin and two of my OC's, that I created in like, 5 seconds. Hope you enjoy this, because I have been waiting for a long time to do this. :D Also, I know Shin goes to school in Hokkiado, but for the purposes of my story he goes to a middle school nearby. Do not tell me he doesn't go to school near Ohsaka Gakuen, I KNOW, I just need to adjust it. Got it?
Break time:
Before anyone could stop them, Mizuki grasped Mimi's wrist and whizzed out of the classroom with his famous speed, just as the bell rung.
"Damn! That Ashiya wants to really get it on!"
"You guys are disgusting! Like some bacteria."
"That newbie is right, he is an animal"
"I'm just wondering how Sano didn't know" Another one of their classmates gave a pointed look at Sano whilst raising his eyebrows at his friends.
"What?"
"Nothing."
"Don't assume about things you don't know, you sound stupid and ignorant." Sano growled, snatching his bag and stomping down the rows of the classroom, his classmates parting, knowing full well it was better to stay out of the way.
"Yah! Sano-San! Wait for me" One of the elder "guardians" called after Sano, her formal school heels clacked against the wooden floor, her members following mindlessly after her.
With Mizuki and Mimi
"What the hell was that Mi?"
"What?"
"You know what! Don't try to laugh this off!" Mizuki stomped her foot down, her cheeks flush with sudden anger.
"Awh Mizuki how can you not be found out yet? You let yourself go to easily..." Mimi held Mizuki's soft feminine face in her long fingers, squishing her cheeks playfully. Pouting her lips a little, sighing at her friend's crazy actions.
"Don't change the subject! What the hell Mimi? It's not California! I'm supposed to be on the down low and undetectable."
"Fine fine, I'm sorry" Raising her hands in surrender, bowing her head slightly.
Mizuki sighed, blowing her breath upwards so her fringe lifted up. "Just don't flaunt everything out, people here aren't the same as Californians, they're more conservative.
"Okay, Okay I promise. I thought I would test the waters, you know?" her hands mimicking the waves
"Stop testing and how come you're back anyways?" Mizuki looked her friend up and down in a suspicious manner, trying to calm her racing heartbeat from running so quickly and Mimi wasn't exactly a fast runner.
"Dad is opening up another Dojo here and we're staying for a long while. Great welcoming party by the way" Raising her eyebrows in a mocking manner, whilst her eyes and smile sparkled with mischief.
"Really? You must have a lot of funds, is your whole family coming as well?"
"Yeah little sis and ma too. We're in this neighborhood too by the way, so you can visit me anytime! And this works out as you are MY boyfriend." Clapping her hands gleefully as she worked out how lucky she was.
"Yes, but you know I am actually NOT your boyfriend, because I am a girl, and you know, I'm not lesbian." Mizuki shook her head at her recently found friend in sarcasm
"Small details my dear. I'm just more interested in you and Sano." Waggling her eyebrows.
"Stop before you embarrass yourself" Mizuki put a comforting hand on top of her friend to stop her antics. "And two, I'll tell you at a later date, you just need tp settle down."
"Okay, promise me! Anyways we need to get some lunch, I'm starving and I need the energy to put up with that monkey." Rolling her eyes in annoyance.
"What? Nakatsu? He's not a bad guy, he means well." Her eyes softening a little, understanding how Nakatsu effected people.
"Awh Mickey, you're so naive."
"What now?" Pouting her cheeks.
"Come on, I need some lunch. I'm dying for some Kitsune Udon!"
Fast forwarding towards the weekend:
"And welcome to my casa!" Mimi flung her arms out in a wild gesture, pulling out the door to Mizuki... and Sano.
"Oh.. you brought your friend too."
"Nice to see you too Mimi." Sano slightly bowed his head in politeness, whilst smirking. He felt like a spy reaching over enemy lines.
"Same back to you Sano." Scoffing, trying to see behind his polite behavior. "Anyways come on in, I'm gonna get changed just finished morning training." She streaked off down the hallway before her guests could take off their shoes.
"Wow, it feels like I'm back in California..." Mizuki looked at the pictures on the walls, familiarizing herself with the pictures and certificates and newspaper cutouts for different achievements from different family members.
"They really are high achievers." Sano mused, reading an American newspaper cutout about "Grand Master Champion". Walking down the polished wooden floors, they continued glancing at the different achievements. Mizuki's eyes began to water and unfocused as she read more and more of the frames.
"Damn, I forgot all about this. Even her little sister is like on the board for martial arts of their hometown." Her brain could not comprehend anymore outstanding achievements.
"Come on stop snooping. I found the living room." plastering his large slightly cooler hand on her forehead, covering her eyes as well. He couldn't help but blush and smirk that he had this small power on her, and he was free to abuse it and enjoy it.
"Okay okay, I can walk by myself." Mizuki settled herself on a strange backless wooden stool, and rested her arms on a handsome, rustic traditional high table that was smooth with polish. that already had a colourful bowl of fruit set on the center of the table. Sano sat down in his usual sort of graceful, odd manner on a stool, letting his curiously show.
"Where on earth is your friend?"
"I don't know, she did just do morning training." Mizuki reasoned, letting her elbows rest on the table top, letting her head rest on her hands, gazing idly away.
"Morning training?" Before Mizuki could even answer, the pair of heads turned at the sound of the door opening, hoping that their classmate had finally changed into normal clothes. However they were greeted with-
"Ahhh. Morning Ashiya-San. Morning Sano-San"A medium height girl stood in the doorway bowed respectfully in both of her senior's direction. Mizuki could only guess that this slightly familiar girl was dressed in with what seemed to be traditional Chinese clothing with the distinctive, very detailed embroidery and a towel around her neck. Although she had an almost adult figure and mature facial features the pair could tell that this girl was a few years their junior. The almost childish roundness of her face added a slight "younger sister" look, her thick black hair tied tightly in a high ponytail, the loose strands dribbling down her right shoulder.
Was she a maid? Sano's instant thought was, but immediately dismissed the thought as he knew that no maid could handle Mimi's craziness and Mimi would go crazy if she had someone did all the things she could do herself, thus stripping her independence.
"Are you a relative?" He couldn't quite put his finger on it, this girl definitely was familiar. Damn it, why did it irk him so much? In response to his sudden question, Mizuki face planted the polished table in a comical action, and the familiar mysterious girl let her eyebrows knit together a little in confusion which broke her emotionless mask. Only for a second though.
"Sano! She's Mimi's sister. Can't you tell?" Mizuki quickly explained as she rose from her stool, almost flying at the newcomer.
"Lian! You've grown so tall!" The brick wall like person suddenly animated and hugged her tiny and very cheerful senior back.
"Come and join us, I'm sure you have so much to tell us."
"Are you THE fat Lian that used to chase Shin down the road when we were kids?" The girl that had the aura of a brick wall had almost reverted into one as her eyes dilated in almost fear, her lips parted a little as she tried to regulate her breaths. Mizuki turned in shock at Sano at his audacity.
"I believe you are correct, your memory never faults, Sano-San" Bowing her head in politeness once again and her face had returned to it's almost natural steely state.
"How do you know? You guys were neighbors?" Mizuki turned her head to both people in anticipation, at this new information.
"Before we used to live in California as your neighbor Ashiya-san, Father had to stay in Japan for training and thus we had to follow in tow and we happened to move next to the Sano household and I tried to make friends with the neighbor kids, as you can see in unconventional ways." her voice obviously straining to be light-hearted.
The tap dripped into the metal sink, emphasizing how long a minute was.
"I must leave, it was nice seeing old friends." bowing her head once more in politeness and before Mizuki could even stop her the living room door quietly hit the wooden frame and the soft footfalls faded down the hallway.
"SANO! HOW COULD YOU?" Once again Mizuki was off her rocket, instantly slapping Sano's arm. He couldn't help but think she was adorable when mad, her cheeks puffy and pink with innocent anger. However he could tell that she was serious annoyed at something he said and he could guess easily.
"I didn't mean to emphasize how big she was back then. She was just a cute chubby kid that probably had a little kiddy crush on Shin and he would run away in fright." Sano explained, capturing Mizuki's wrist easily within his grasp.
"You idiot!" Mizuki ceased her actions as noticed Sano's body warmth on her wrist, and she didn't want him to let go and tried to ignore it. Instantly coughing to deepen and roughen her voice and focused at the issue at hand. "Pfft you just don't understand girls!" Mizuki almost regretfully wrenched her wrist out of his grasp and plopped herself back down the stool, sighing.
Sano couldn't help but a little bit of guiltiness leak into his conscious. Damnit, almost pulling his mouth back into a snarl in frustration at himself.
With Lian:
During halfway up the stairs she sped up on the middle step, almost fleeing to her room, slamming the door behind her. Pushing her back to the door, almost believing that she could melt into the door, she stared up at her new bedroom ceiling.
A skinny, wiry boy was racing down the street, his light brown spikes were pushed back against the force of the direction he was running.
"Hey come back! I wanna play with you" Another slightly chubbier girl was only a few paces behind the boy, her onyx hair secured in two cute pigtails with colourful hair ties.
"I know you like me, but I don't wanna play with fat people. I hear that I'll get fat like you!" The boy yelled behind his shoulder speeding off. He became a tiny dot in the distance as the girl slowed down. Her feet seemed to be rooted to the spot, hearing the traffic go by as her tears streamed down her round face, dripping off her thick round cheeks.
She sank to the ground, trying very hard to relax and make sure her breath was regular, however her throat seemed to have closed up as she wiped away her tears on her thick sleeve. Closing her eyes in tiredness and almost exhaustion, she heard the soft footfalls of her sister racing, no, thundering down the stairs, she could feel the vibrations and let her breath, as if she was waiting for all this time.
And that ends this chapter. I know this is a bit choppy but I needed to get out some stuff and move it on, because it's all about Lian and Shin with a few interference's of Mizuki and Sano as well. Also this a character profile on Lian
Fu Mann Lian: Lian means lotus in Chinese, she has an English name that has not been decided by me, but it's just easier to remember to call her Lian.
As said up there her physical description is as follows:
Tallish, about 5"6
Dark, long black hair that is held in various hairstyles that suits her. She is taller than her sister Mimi, and her hair reaches down to her stomach which is much longer than her sister's.
Although she is taller than her sister, she is perceived as "thicker" and "stockier" compared to her sister. Although she usually covers up most of her skin with baggy clothes, Lian is almost ashamed with her own figure. Her sister is seen to have the perfect figure whereas she is ashamed of her "fuller figure". She will do anything she can to hide her "thick and fat legs" and her "fat, inelegant fingers". She does have a slight nip in her waist and has a more "womanly" figure, however she trains a lot so wears baggy training clothes and is most comfortable at that state.
Her personality is a little complex; unless it truly angers her, she will not react, but if it truly effects her but if it embarrasses her completely she will almost not react a all. Although seen as unfriendly, cold and uninviting she loves to seek company, however likes to wonder and imagine a lot, which makes her face more serious and colder so people try not to provoke or attract her attention in case they may feel her wrath. She tries to reason and keep peace, and usually lets "nature run it's course", and is easy-going but tries to better herself in being more concentrated and forward thinking.
Basically Lian is more or less me in real life. The reason why I described Lian as being ashamed of her body, because I too am ashamed. But I am changing, and learning to love what I have, and to be honest it kind of irks me that all these fanfictions, mangas, animes have these stereotypical, "perfect" figure girls with perfect bust and butt but who are slim and curvaceous. They are slim but with unrealistic measurement and it annoys me, I'm not hating on people who have great figures and work hard to keep fit, I applaud you, like you should get a meddle because that's a great achievement. I just dislike reading about a girl who has some sort of image issue and it's usually about people and the guy she likes that tease her about her image and she comes back in new great clothes, or lost loads of weight but seemed to have grown up as a woman and has everything they want instantly. That was annoys me a lot.
This new manga I read which I love called Pochamani, which is a romance about a chubby girl and her hardships she has to face, has sort of inspired me. You can call me stupid and wishy-washy, but this manga has seriously made a positive impact on my life, it may be fictional but it's still brings some sort of hope. The fact that someone actually made a manga about this, actually makes me happy.
One thing to note: Lian is more or less me in real life, and I stress a lot: Lian is NOT fat but she is not thin, she is in the middle band but on the heavier side. She is more curvy than thin, but still has issues to deal with about how she feels about her body.
Rate and review please. Many thanks.
Chang.
