"Morning Willow! Ready for some breakfast? I was thinking if you want later we can watch a movie. I know you like those old Jim Henson movies. I got two you probably never saw before. The Dark Crystal and The Labyrinth." Willows handler brought in her food. Mick Foley was a nice man. He was hired to take care of Willow since she was a teen.
"Hi, Mick! LOOK! I read your book on origami. I made butterflies. Watch! Shane thought it was cool. Vince doesn't like me to use my powers for playing around but, I get so bored." She opened a box and used her mind to make the hundreds of paper butterflies fly around the room. Willow laughed making them swirl around Mick. They quickly flew back onto the box and the lid closed on its own.
Mick laughed, "Willow, that was cool! Now eat."
"I'm bored Mick. I wish I could do something fun. Vince hasn't taken me to the island in over a year." Vince allowed her to go to a private island a couple times a year. Mick was allowed to go with her. Shane had gone a few times too but it was just to study her.
"I'll talk to him. Eat! You need to keep up your strength."
Mick was a playful guy and he loved spending time with Willow. Over the years she had grown into a beautiful woman. Willow spending time with Stephanie lately was something Mick didn't like. Steph told her about things he didn't feel she needed to know being stuck in this place. He liked Willows innocence and it was slowly fading with Stephs influence. Steph told her what sex was and about her escapades with men. Something Willow had been curious about but, Steph went about it wrong. Steph told her about things on the outside world that were tough subjects Willow was a little too naive to understand. Also, Steph had got her drunk for the first time a few months ago and, Willow ended up hurt. She got startled and caught the room on fire resulting in Willow almost dying of smoke inhalation. Vince was furious and, Steph was not allowed to be alone with Willow when Steph had been drinking from that point on.
The times with the therapist seemed to be more disturbing than anything to Willow. Mick asked them to stop but, they told him that she needed to experience what the world was like outside the research facilities if she ever wanted a life outside. Manipulated news reports with visions of wars, drugs, and murder. All propaganda to fit their agenda. Willow had horrible nightmares from it and Shane was having trouble controlling her fire rage when she had bad dreams or got angry.
Willow was talking to Mick with her mind so the guards didn't hear, "Can we sneak out later tonight? I want to see the stars again. The fake stars in the courtyard are just not the same."
He smiled knowing she could hear him in his mind. Mick often would leave his logo pin in his room at the facility on purpose. That way Willow could talk to him privately. She didn't know what they were really for. "We can't get caught again. I got in big trouble last time. But, if we can get rid of security tonight we will see. Brock Lesnar is working tonight."
"Dang it! I hate Brock. He is such a jerk. So is Scott Steiner. Chris Jericho is nice to me at least. He talks to me like a person. Not like property. He's a little goofy but he must have a strong mind if he can block me out." She huffed.
"And I don't?" Mick frowned.
"You let me in. That's different." She ate her breakfast. "Ok. Not tonight but soon."
"Deal."
Stephanie walked in seeing the movies on the table. "Mick, she's not a child. Stop with the kid shows. Willow, I will bring you some good stuff to watch."
"No, you won't Steph! When you brought that horror movie she didn't sleep for a week." Mick scolded.
"Relax old man. Willow, get your breakfast ate. We're going to start early. I have been working on getting you some new activities. You start a different training today."
Willow talked with her mouth full stuffing in a bit of pancake. "What kind of training."
"Martial arts. Military style. It should be fun for you. I know you like working out. Stop talking with your mouth full." Steph rolled her eyes.
Mick huffed watching the smug Stephanie. He knew she had been up to something but still hadn't figured out what. The whole project seemed sketchy to him. But, he stayed around over the years to watch over Willow. He didn't like how they kept her secluded but, understood how dangerous her powers could be in the wrong hands. Little did he realize, she already was in the wrong hands.
Later that day Stephanie was watching Willow from the observation deck over the military training area. Her father came up next to her. "She is a fighter. Getting stronger each day. You are doing wonderfully with her Steph."
"It's just a matter of time dad. I can't wait to unleash her. I have an idea that Shane and I are working on. She has too many happy memories. Her parents were shit but, she somehow made a happy life of her own. Too sweet and innocent. It's like she is sort of too perfect and it makes me sick! I try to get her to do more adult things but, that damn Mick Foley keeps butting in. We need a fresh slate. Mold her to be a ruthless military machine. Only answering to us. Then, we rule the world. You king and me at your right hand as for future queen of the world. People will bow to our feet. I want to wipe her memories that she doesn't need. Alter her moods too." Steph smirked.
"Don't get ahead of yourself. We still have to get her ready for our plan. I think within a year she will be ready." Vince smiled a devilish smile watching Willow. "Get working on the mind wipe though. It may come in handy. NO mood altercations. We need to still have her likable. When she goes on TV the world needs to be able to trust her. Her innocence is an advantage. That's why we need to keep her protected. Try it on some other people first. I don't want you wiping out her special talents."
"Yes, sir."
