Well, Its been maybe a month. I made this about two days ago and finished it today. It's just I wanted to show that not all love consists of happy thoughts and graceful moves. There will always be shadows…

"I lifted her head, she looked at me and said
'Hold me darling, just a little while'
I held her close, I kissed her our last kiss
I found the love that I knew I had missed"

Last Kiss by Pearl Jam

Crying.

Crying in the back of her room, holding their two year old child, crying. Sitting in the dark, crying. Watching as her clock's second hand danced in circles, crying. Listening to the screams of the little girl in his arms, crying. Staring at her pictures all over the room, crying.

Soul Eater Evans, the cool guy, the 24 year old with a baby in his arms, was crying. He was crying with his snowy haired daughter. He was staring into her big red eyes, the shape of her mothers. He was rubbing his thumb against her ivory skin that she got from her mother, crying more than the child.

His small whimpers echoed through the apartment. His daughter's cries were now buried in his shirt. His bangs swept to the side, the way she liked because she loved the sight of his big lazy eyes. Soul was crying in the corner of the empty room, with a child in his arms, and a heart shattered to pieces.

He made his daughter wear pig tails every day so he could see her in the small girl. She was taught how to read picture books about three months ago, because it was what she wanted.

Now, all Soul wanted to do was take the gun in his hands and shoot himself. It was sitting there, in the center of his palm, resting with glares shinning off of it. Soul missed her. He missed his wife. He just wished she was alive.

"Please stop crying" Soul groaned as he picked up Kalel and held her in his arms. He walked to the living room while shushing her, turning on the TV to see if looney tunes were on. "It's okay…"

Soul kissed the top of her head, sitting on the couch and leaning back. "It's Bugs Bunny. You like him." He nodded at the TV, his pajama pants crumpling on the couch. The cartoons didn't quite her down, and he knew he wouldn't be able to.

"Come on, Kalel. Please stop crying." He set her on his lap and bounced her up and down, he pale cheeks dusted red from her soft cries. She couldn't talk and she never tried to, all she would do was cry. Ever since she died, it's been like this.

Ever since she died.

She died.

Oh yeah. Soul sighed, placing his hand on Kalel's back and pulling her into his chest, rubbing small circles on her back. Her whimpers were drowned by his Dead Pool shirt and the sound of Bugs Bunny getting yelled at by Daffy Duck.

He looked at the picture frames on the walls, all of them of her. Her emerald eyes glimmering the way they always did. Her hair in pig tails that reminded him of when he was fifteen and she was twelve. He missed her. Soul didn't know how he was still alive. Could it be that he had a daughter? That was half of it. The other half was he forgot to kill himself a week ago. The gun was still in the drawer under the coffee table.

Soul stared down at the coffee table, shushing his daughter. He gulped while running a hand through his messy white hair. Soul sighed and reached down, sliding open the drawer. In their sat the gun he purchased a week ago. A shimmery silver… dull… cheep… deadly.

Soul stared at it for about ten minutes before taking it out of the drawer, standing up and walking to his dead wife's room. He shut the door behind him and stared at the empty bed. The comforter placed in the same position as the day she left it…

Tears formed in his eyes and he wiped them away, telling himself not to cry. He'll soon be reunited with her. He'll have her again. His wife; his partner; his meister. The one thing in the world he cherished more than life itself has left him. She left him their child. A child he cannot raise without her.

The sky was dark with no stars shining. The world is a horror show… And she was the only girl that never thought of him as yummy candy or looks and no brains… She loved him because they resonated perfectly. And he missed her hands resting on his palms and her small kisses on his cheeks when he would buy take-out.

Kalel started screaming and Soul's hands started shaking, shushing her. "Don't cry, Kalel." A tear fell down from his blood red eyes, burning his skin along the way. "Stop crying…" Soul sniffed, looking at the bed sheets and feeling every bone in his body scream.

Soul leaned against her wall and slid down, sitting on the floor with his knees in the air. Tears streamed down his face, whimpers growling from his throat. Kalel grabbed onto his shirt and sniffed, he could feel her tears seeping through his shirt. Soul laid the back of his head against the wall.

Why did she leave him? How could she? They were doing so well…

Soul looked at the gun and rested it against the side of his head. He stared at the window and stared at the black sky. His hand shook and he dropped the gun, hearing it clatter against the hardwood floor.

"M-Maka…"
