Neb: Mako was knocked out from behind during his last run in with one of the four mysterious gangs. The Chief had suggested a partner to him, but he lost two out of three. What happened to the third one, he has no Idea, I do not own Legend of Korra.

Mako: Review please, to your hearts content.

Mako was in the blackness again with dim lighting and shadows everywhere.

"It felt good didn't it, using such high level fire bending power, when joining me I can make that seem like baby play!"

"I will not join you Murrogog," Mako growled.

"You will join me eventually, the return of the light, the fall of a fool, and the betrayal of a friend will send you in more rage then ever." Mako realized if he was going to get out of this he had to somehow figure out how to force himself awake. Mako immagined his eyes beeing closed and tried his hardest to open them.

"What, where am I," Mako wondered as he sat up in a bed. "The hospital?" He turned his head to see one of the metal bending officers asleep in a chair right next to him.

"Hey, if this is a guarding me mission, you're failing," Mako spoke up waking the officer.

"What, I mean detective, I mean sir," she responded fast and loud as she got out of her chair.

"Will you settle down, are you the rookie," he asked.

"Sent to babysit sir... those were the words of the chief, you don't need babysitting, I'm the one who needs to be looked after, not that I'll slow you down!" She groaned as she fell back in her chair. She had dark skin like those of the southern water tribe and long black hair. Her eyes were light blue.

"How old are you," he asked.

"Seventeen sir," she responded.

"Name?"

"Kima," she responded.

"What do you bend," he asked.

"Earth, Metal, and sand sir, hoping to learn to bend lava like your brother," she smiled.

"Lava is a rare trait and my brother doesn't use it a whole lot cause it does a lot of damage to the surroundings."

"Right, but you never know when you might need it right," she smiled.

"Right," Mako smiled back.

"Sooo, what was it like fighting Kuvira," she asked.

"Like a giant machine was going to wreck everything," Mako responded.

"Oh, I see..."

"Lets check me out of the hospital and report to the Chief."

"Yes, Sir, I mean detective!"

"Just call me Mako..."

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

"So hows your new partner," asked Beifong as she sat back in her chair. Kima was out of the room discussing the attack with the officer that had fought along side Mako. Mako sent her on that job, so they could find out which one of the benders got Mako from behind.

"She's fine chief, a little quirky, but I think that wont get in the way of her job," Mako replied.

"Good, I picked her, because between Korra and Bolin you are use to quirky people," the Chief smiled.

"I suppose your right," Mako agreed. "Any ways about the gang I had a run in with," Mako spoke up.

"Their called the Gold Fist gang and you ran into four of their elites," she responded.

"Gold Fist... and the other three?"

"Blue Bandits, Rising Rhinogators, and The Union," she responded.

"Union of what," Mako asked.

"Of earth benders who liked the Earth Kingdom when they ran it. They are an all earth bending group."

"I see, thanks Chief, and you want me and my partner to go check out some of their areas," Mako wondered.

"Yes, one of the Blue Bandit's places is at a Coffee and Cinnamon bun shop, that's all I got so far," she explained.

"Got it Chief, I guess, that's it," Mako smiled.

"That is not it," she shouted causing Mako to sit back down in his chair. The Chief scared him from time to time, usually he talks bravely to her, but for the most part, she scared him."

"You lit one of the members on fire," she raised an eyebrow.

"I-I had no choice," he lied.

"Very well, we all are forced to use harsh methods once in a while, you are dismissed." Mako nodded his head and then headed out.

"Zako, are you ok," a man spoke up from the shadows. a man in a weird red mechanical suit sat up in the bed.

"Their goes date nights," the man in the mechanical suit sighed.

"You haven't lost your sense of humor."

"Who says I was being humorous," Zako growled. "That one guy got the drop on me with that weird fire he shot out."

"Yes, he made a mockery out of the Gold Fist."

"It won't happen again," the air bender spoke up.

"It better not, anyways, we should teach those cops not to mess with us," the man in the shadows smiled.

"The Republic City PD will be reduced to ashes boss," a woman with long black hair and dragon tattoos all over her body grinned. The way she smiled made her seem like someone who was large and in charge.

"Asaki is right, lets teach them a lesson," A skinny pale man carrying two knives grinned as he filled a sack of water.

"No the man in the shadows spoke up."

"What," they all yelled.

"We will wait till they've taken out some of our rival gangs, then we will take the broken up remainders of the gangs and use them for our forces, and then, we will gain control of the city, by making an example."
