A/N: Wow… I just realized that last chapter was just a few sentences longer then Chapter 1… and it was 6 pages long… I'll try to score 10 pages then…

Disclaimer: I no own anything. I only own the idea and plot. And hopefully the laptop I used to type this. I no own Ever After High nor Danny Phantom. Only me.

Pardon my wiredness (don't ask, but it's weirdness) and enjoy this update!

No One's POV

"I am Danielle Elizabeth Fenton aka Dani Phantom. And I am ready to pledge my destiny." Dani said, but her voice was laced with sadness and her green and blue eyes showed the same. Her hair raven black and out of its usual ponytail so that it fell around her shoulders, her messy bangs snow white. A key popped out of thin air and she grabbed it, twisting it in the lock of the book in front of her. A series of events played out in front of her, and she shivered involuntarily.

She didn't want this life. This story written out for her.

She wanted to go along with how she said.

She looked up at the mirrors surrounding the podium, then looked down at all the expectant faces before her. Finally her eyes landed on Danny and Cerise, who were standing on the staircase looking at her. Cerise sent a reassuring smile her way whilst Danny gave her that breathtaking smile and whispered something in Ghosts so that only she could hear.

"Follow your heart."

Dani smiled at her father and looked back in front of her to the mirrors.

An image of her wielding a sword while wearing a black cape and a different outfit was on the screen, and she smiled a bit. A feather quill popped up in front of her and she put out her hand and watched in admiration as the quill softly fell into her open palm.

She was about to make the most important decision of her life.

And whatever she chose.

There was no going back.

Dani shot up in her bed and looked around her room panting, soaked in sweat. 'What the heck was that?!' she thought to herself as she slid down the ladder of her bed and was accompanied by the soft feeling of her rug beneath her toes. She walked across her floor and looked over at her digital clock which had the numbers '10:37' blinking back at her. She groaned and rushed into the bathroom, showering and brushing her teeth before slipping back into her room and changing into a dark purple tanktop and black jeans. She looked at herself in the mirror before brushing her hair into its usual messy ponytail and leaving for the kitchen by 10:49. She was surprised to see her family sitting around the coffee table eating pancakes, though Tucker also had sausage and bacon while Jazz, Danny, and Sam had bowls of fruit.

"Hey guys." Dani said, grabbing some pancakes and an apple off of the counter in the kitchen before sitting down in one of the purple recliners. "Hey Dani. Have a nice sleep?" Danny asked, giving her a warm smile before popping a piece of pancake into his mouth. Dani shrugged and looked down at her pancakes before taking a bite out of one. "I guess. Had a weird dream though." She replied, savoring the taste of the fluffy breakfast food melt in her mouth. "What do you-" Sam started, only for the sound of knocking to sound on the door. "I'll get it!" Dani yelled, setting her plate on the table and jumping up before running to the door.

She swung open the door to reveal a black chest with the words 'EVER AFTER HIGH' on it in gold lettering. Confused she picked up the package and carried it inside to where everyone is sitting. "Anyone order a package?" she asked, and all eyes turned to her and the mysterious chest. "No….", Jazz said, and everyone jumped up going over to her. "Wait, there's a letter!" she said, pulling a white envelope with gold stitching off the side of the chest.

Dani stared gaping at the paper in front of her. "I-I thought he was kidding…" she finally whispered after a long moment of silence. "Ever After High? Milton Grimm? As in, the Grimm brothers? This is insane!" Danny cried, turning away from the paper. Tears gathered in Dani's eyes, but she quickly blinked them away. "What are you guys going to do?" Tucker asked, staring at his brother and niece in wonder. "Well they have to go Tuck. No matter how much they don't want to, or might regret it, they don't have a choice." Sam said, tears welling up in her eyes at the thought of losing both her daughter and love.

"Danny…." Jazz started, tears gathering in her eyes. Danny was pacing trying to figure out what he was going to do about the whole situation.

If he went, he could find out more about his 'destiny' and maybe try to prevent it.

But on the other hand, if he did go, ghosts could take over Amity Park.

But if he didn't go, then he would be putting his life at risk and could face the consequences.

"D-Danny…!" Jazz said, a little louder this time.

Sam was trying to comfort Danielle, who was silently crying in her mother and Uncle's arms.

"DANNY!" Jazz yelled, and everyone turned to look at her.

What she said next made everyone freeze.

"What are we going to tell Mom and Dad?"

A/N: So Yeah, sorry about last chapter being so short. I have a few things to say. One, don't you love how I just left you here, unbeknownst to what was going to happen next? Two, I'm going to see if Chapter 4 is longer. And finally, JUST KIDDING! I'd be incredibly evil to try and let you figure out what was going on next in the story. Pfft, puh-lease!

Danny froze and stared at Jazz wide-eyed, letting his arms fall limply to his sides. "W-what?" he asked, knowing good and well what she had said. Sam looked up at Danny in concern before looking down at Danielle who was still silent in her arms, tears rolling down her cheeks. "She's right Danny. You can't just go up to them and tell them that you're leaving for boarding school." Her words were laced with worry and Danny groaned realizing she was right.

As always.

The team sat in silence before a small voice cut through it. "Daddy? What are we going to do? I-I don't want to go. I want to stay here with Mommy, and Uncle Tuck, and Aunt Jazz and Alexis!" she cried, and tears flowed down her face even more as she sobbed. "It's okay sweetie. You'll still be with Daddy and we'll talk every day, I promise." Sam said, trying to comfort her daughter. Danny sat on the other side of the fragile girl and ran his hand through her messy bangs. "It's okay Raven. No matter what we'll always be close to home. And I'll make sure to set up a Ghost Portal somewhere in your dorm room." Danny tried to console her. (A/N: Due to Dani's hair being raven black, in human form Danny calls her Raven and in ghost form he calls her Snowy.)

Danny stood up sighing and faced the group, cracking his knuckles.

"Let's go tell my parents."

(A/N: YOU GUYS BETTER BE GLAD I NEED TO MAKE THIS LONGER.)

Tucker's eyes widened and Sam looked on fearfully, concern etched on her face. "Tell them…" Jazz trailed off, afraid of the answer she would receive. Danny nodded his head, confirming everyone's suspicions.

"Everything."

"But dude, what if they don't accept you?" Tucker asked, staring at his best friend and brother.

"Well then I guess it's a good thing I'm going away for boarding school, right?" Danny asked, chuckling. "Apparently our ride will arrive at 1, so if you want to get in your revelation and maybe a small going away party, you have 10 minutes tops to pack. Starting now," Jazz said, being the know-it-all she is. Danny laughed and ran off to his room, Danielle following silently behind as she wiped away tears.

Dani's POV

I sniffed and wiped tears from my eyes as I walked silently to my room, giving a small smile as Danny walked down the hall and disappeared into his room. I myself just walked into my room and sat down at my bed, tears stinging my eyes as I thought about leaving Amity Park and the Ghost Zone.

They're both my home.

I sighed and stood up, turning on some music and singing to 'Bastille' Pompeii (A/N: Which, by the way, I don't own.) as I packed for boarding school.

I mean, it's not like we'll actually be going to this school, right?

Cause, we can't just leave.

Leave everything behind and walk away.

This all just feels like some bad dream.

Like, I'm just going to wake up soon and eat breakfast with the family. We'll watch Frozen or World War Z then laugh at Tuck's expressions during the latter. We'll play board games and cards and sing to karaoke.

We'll stay.

But I know it's not true. Not even relatively.

This is real life.

And I'm a part of it.

What the heck is Ever After High anyways? I mean, it sounds like something you'd find in a fairytale. And I'm not some fairytale princess. I just don't work like that. And we aren't even fully into the school year. We still have the time before 'Legacy Day', we still have Legacy Day, and then we have the rest of the school year after Legacy Day to figure out how we'll 'fulfill' our destinies! Not to mention the fact that not only are we going to be learning how to take after our futures, but me and Danny are half ghost. Do they even have the technology or information needed to care for or teach a halfa? Or a ghost in general?

Then again we're talking about a school with princes and princesses.

My life is incredibly strange….

Then again life in itself is strange…

I shook my head to clear my mind and continued packing in silence, only the sound of If I Die Young going through my ears.

Danny loves this song.

There's so much irony behind it for us.

I laughed at that thought and slammed my suitcase shut, jumping on top of it and zipping it closed. Eyes shining with only temporary happiness, I looked around at my room. Probably the last time I'll see it for some time. I sighed to myself and stood up, brushing off my pants.

There are so many memories here. Leaving, and to a place I've never been before, it just makes me so… uncomfortable. Yes, it's lame, but you don't get it. Being me, my whole life since I first left after Danny and Val stabilized me, I've been on the run. I never knew who I would meet or where I would end up, but it was always a new adventure. I always knew that no matter what, I was invincible. But that was before I came back. Before I learned what it's like to have a family and friends. Before I learned what, what love is.

But I think I'm just over exaggerating here. I mean, I can do this. I can go to Ever After High, and write out a story for myself.

My thoughts were interrupted by a soft knocking on my door, followed by the creaking of its hinges. Out of instinct I went over to the door and with lightning fast reflexes had my 'visitor' pushed against a wall with my arm pressed against their throat, leaving them gasping for breath. A blush heat up my face and I let go, seeing the intruder to be the one and only… Sam. "Oh, gosh, Mom, I'm so so sorry!" I apologized as my mother rubbed her throat, glaring at me.

"I'll let it go for now. In the meantime, let's go. Danny is already finished packing and Jazz and Tuck are waiting for us in the Speeder." My mom explained as I rushed to stand up my suitcase and hurry out of the room, the wheels scratching the hardwood floor as I went. "Alright, everyone good to go?" Tucker asked as me and Danny transformed. I simply nodded, too enveloped in the comforting feeling of being free engulfing my body, the feeling of having the world lifted off my shoulders. It's a feeling I rarely ever get to feel, and I love it almost as much as I love flying. I love my family and all, but flying is pretty amazing.

"If you can count practically melting in my shoes, then juuuust perfect." I rolled my eyes, snow white hair flicking my face. "Come on Snowy, it won't be that bad. And besides, this will be an amazing adventure." Danny tried to reassure me, and I snorted. "Like you can talk. I don't think you're too keen on a new adventure. Especially considering we have to tell a certain person your secret."

I know Danny means well, but he just doesn't get it. I have lived on the streets most of my life. I can't adjust to a new situation without almost ripping someone's head off. He, however, can cover up his instincts and reflexes and hide his supernatural abilities.

"Come on, let's just go." I said, putting my suitcase in the Specter Speeder and running before pushing myself off of the ground.

I always liked flying. Whether because Danny loves it, or because I do, I might never know. But there's just something about the feeling of being weightless that just clears the cobwebs from my mind. Takes away the pressure. I can always count on flying to cheer me up, letting the wind whip my face and brush away my hair, blowing away my fears, if only temporarily.

But, it's not helping now. The cobwebs are still there, the fears ever present.

This is a feeling I hate. When flying just doesn't do the job. When I have to have this pressure and these thoughts swarming my mind until I make a permanent decision about it.

I sighed as I looked back to where Danny was flying next to the Speeder, which was occupying Sam, Tucker, and Jazz. He seemed to be talking with him through the Fenton Phones, a troubled expression on his face. It was obvious they were talking about me, because every now and then one of them would give me a quick glance before turning back to the others. I glared both in exasperation and annoyance, wishing one of them would just come over and talk to me, instead of just sitting there as of spilling secrets about me behind my back.

Almost as if he had read my mind, Danny flew up to where I was flying ahead of everyone, and a comfortable yet awkward silence fell between us. Like we enjoy the silence, as if nothing needs to be said, but we want something to be said.

Finally I broke the silence with a simple, "What's up?"

He simply shook his head and I shrugged and looked out at the vast expanse of the Zone before us. "The Ghost Zone truly is beautiful. No wonder the ghosts love it so much. I hardly see why the ghosts would come to the Human World with their dimension looking as beautiful as this. The only time the Human World looks truly beautiful is at night." I said, noticing how the Zone shimmered with an unseen light, the swirls of the 'sky' twirling and intertwining like dancers in a complete symphony. Something truly amazing.

I don't know if my Father agreed or not, because he nodded in agreement and looked around as if taking it all in.

I glared at him and stopped flying, now hovering in the air. "Look, Danny, if you want to say something then spit it out all ready! I can't take this silence anymore!" I spat, eyes flashing.

This seemed to take him back a bit, and he finally sighed. "Look, Dani, I know that this is hard, but you have to realize that I'm only doing what's best for us. If, we do go to this school, maybe it could help us figure out what we're truly meant for. Gives us a life that we could actually figure out." He said, and I put my hands on my hips. "News flash, I already have a life! I don't need this stupid school to write my life!" I yelled, and I felt my fury boil inside of me.

"Danielle, please! And it's not like we have a choice! You heard Clockwork, it's mandatory! This is just in best interests for us!" Danny yelled back, and I could clearly hear our voices gradually getting higher. "I heard loud and clear Danny. But maybe I don't want to do this. I am tired if running, tired of not knowing what to make of everything. I have a home, and a family. I don't want to lose that." I said, my voice suddenly dangerously low and I felt tears gathering in my eyes, sending a stinging sensation through my body.

"I know Danielle. I don't want to lose that either. But you have to take a chance. Please." Danny said, looking at me, and I few forward, brushing past him. "Fine."

I know, I know, it was rough. But he just doesn't understand, my whole life, I've been trying to get back to my family. My real family. And now, I'm being ripped away from them!

But, I have to think about Danny too.

Danny, he has parents, friends, he has a sister! More is at stake with Danny, and yet he's willing to go to this boarding school….

Maybe….. maybe I should give this whole thing a chance. This whole school and all, maybe I should just go along with it.

I sighed to myself and felt my eyes glow a bit brighter as I widened my senses, scanning for the famous Fenton Ghost Portal.

Geez, where do they find these names?

Anyways, I almost squealed with pleasure when I saw the swirling green portal ahead, my eyes returning to their normal shade of neon green and to their normal glow. Yeah, I can widen my senses. I come with a lot of new tricks.

I'm guessing the others noticed too, cuz suddenly a blur went by me headed straight for the Fenton Portal. "Hey, wait up!" I called playfully, speeding up to catch them.

Laughter carried in my voice as I tumbled through the portal and rolled across the cold lab floor. I relaxed into the cold feeling of my transformation rings wash over me.

White turned to black and I enjoyed the comfort of my dark purple tanktop and jeans. "Y'know, we should really work on that. It would make life a bit easier." I commented, standing up and brushing off my pants. "All opposed?" Danny asked, black bangs falling over his eyes.

"Danny? Jazz? Are you two down there? Who's with you?" a sweet voice carried down the stairs, entering everyone's ears. "Uh, hey, Mrs. Fenton." Mom called back, watching cautiously as Tucker parked the Specter Speeder over by a nearby wall. "Sam? What are you kids doing down there? Daniel James Fenton, you know not to bring your friends down there!" Madeline Fenton said, her footsteps heard by all of us as she walked down the staircase.

"Er, um, sorry Mom!" Danny called, watching as his Mom came downstairs where we all stood. "And who is this? I don't think I've met her before." Maddie asked, eyeing me up and down with disapproval and suspicion. "Uh, Danielle Siri, ma'am." I said, giving an awkward, crooked smile as I half waved at my secret grandmother.

Despite my friendly approach, Maddie still looked at me suspiciously before looking over at Danny. "Young man, what did I tell you about bringing your friends downstairs into the lab? And without HAZMAT suits?" Maddie scolded, and I repressed a snicker.

I'm glad my Mom isn't like that.

Danny rolled his eyes, and answered, "I know, I know. Now could we talk about this later? We have something important to tell you and Dad." Danny said, and confusion flashed over my grandmother's face. "We?" she emphasized and I nodded. "Yes. We. Me and Danny. Danny and I. We." I answered, and Maddie glared at me. "Mrs. Fenton, could we please just get this over with. Believe it or not, we have a specific amount of time right now, and can't deal with this at the moment." Uncle Tuck reasoned, tapping away on his PDA as usual.

"What is it? What do you mean?" Maddie asked, and I refrained from slapping her. "Let's go upstairs. It's best that we tell you and Dad together." Danny said, and Jazz nodded in agreement. "Jazz, let's just go." I said, stopping her when she opened her mouth to make this whole speech on the psychological effect that saying it twice can cause.

She glared, but nonetheless we all headed up the stairs, only stopping when we had made it to the living room.

"Dad!" Jazz screeched, and her father's heavy footsteps padded down the staircase. "Jazzerincess! Where have you children been? You weren't here last night. You missed our latest invention, the Fenton Ghost Immobilizer! It shocks a ghost into a paralyzed state and sends them into a state of shock temporarily, before sending ice to spread through its body and electrocute them, ripping it apart molecule by molecule!" Jack rambled, and I stifled a laugh, as my grandfather explained his newest invention.

Everyone stared blankly at him, as if stunned he had actually explained the invention with that wording, and Maddie simply said, "I explained it to him." This was met with a chorus of "ohhhh's" and nods of understanding.

"So, Sweetie, what did you want to tell us?" Maddie asked, and I fidgeted under her steely gaze.

"Heh, you might want to sit down for this." I suggested, and Danny nodded in agreement.

No One's POV

Maddie looked confused, along with Jack, but nonetheless they sat down on the purple couch along with Sam, Tuck, and Jazz who sat on the floor.

"Um, Mom, Dad, remember when the portal started working a few years ago? When I was 14?" Danny asked nervously, and Jack nodded. "You said there was just a power surge and that the portal started mysteriously working. Sam and Tucker had said that the electricity from the aftershock had electrocuted you and you passed out." Maddie said, retelling the fake story they were given.

"That may have been, you know, a lie…." Danny trailed off, and Maddie and Jack looked at their son confused. "What do you mean sweetie?" Maddie asked, and Danny grimaced at the technical nickname.

"Well, you see, when you and Dad had first started working on the Fenton Ghost Portal, you had never given me and Jazz a second thought. We learned how to cope on our own and survive. You were always working in the Lab on the portal, and eventually Jazz was never around. Always at the library with friends or studying at school." Jazz looked down guiltily and Sam gave her a sympathetic smile, something she had grown accustomed to giving Danny and Danielle.

"So when you guys finally finished the portal, I already hated it, blaming it as the thing that had torn apart our family." Danny continued, and the scientist couple seemed confused as to where the story was heading. "But when you guys turned it on, and only a spark happened, you were so heartbroken. After-school I had brought over Sam and Tucker because they wanted to see the Portal. They had suggested I try to figure out what was wrong with it after I explained how it didn't work.

"I was reluctant at first, but eventually I agreed and decided to try. I tried everything, having Tuck look at the codes, making sure that everything was wired correctly. Eventually I gave up, and decided to leave, but Sam had brought up how cool it would be to see the Ghost Zone. Y'know, a whole realm of ghosts in their own little world.

"I didn't agree at first, saying you would get mad and that it was bad enough we were already down there, but they wouldn't listen. I was hesitant, but my curiosity got the better of me and net thing I knew I was putting on the jumpsuit you got me.

"I went inside, but you know, it was dark and wires littered the floor, so I used the wall to navigate which direction I was going. I was only halfway in when I tripped on some of the wires. I caught onto something and told Sam and Tuck I was okay, when the circuit boards in the portal turned on. The only thing I remember was pain." Danny finished, and gestured over to Sam who was looking guiltily at the floor. "Sam and Tuck were the only ones there when I woke up." With that Sam looked up, wiping tears from her eyes.

"All we heard was this bloodcurdling scream. It was so unreal and so full of pain, it was almost unrealistic. But, we knew it was coming from Danny. The portal only turned on for a minute or two, but when the swirling vortex came on, there was no sign of Danny. After a few seconds though, we saw this silhouette come out of the portal and collapse against the ground. Our first instinct was to attack. But we stopped when we saw Danny, just with a color switch.

"He had said our names then passed out. I had cried for so long thinking I had killed my best friend, but Tucker put some sense in my mind. We carried him upstairs and left him in his bed, staying with him until you guys came home. You had stayed at a hotel, so we stayed overnight. When you came back, we told you that story. This was our personal secret, and you were never meant to find out. That is, until we were sure you would accept him."

Maddie looked around at the scared, nervous, and upset teens before her. Danny grimaced at the painful memory and took a shaky breath. "What do you mean? What were we never meant to find out? What secret? Why would we not accept our only son? I'm sorry kids, but this is making no sense at all!" Maddie said exasperated.

Jack seemed to be thinking, a dazed look in his eyes as he contemplated everything the teens had said.

"M-Mom? Dad? I-I'm Danny Phantom." Danny said, and let the cool feeling of ice wash over him as he reached down into his frozen ice core, triggering his familiar ghost half and causing the transformation he knew so well.

Maddie stared at Danny… no. Not Danny. The Ghost Boy. The, the troublesome ghost teen she had always been so bent on destroying for the past 2 years. She, she hunted…. She hunted her own son. Her own child! She hunted her baby boy!

Tears streamed down her face as she lifted herself up off the couch and walked over to her most troublesome child.

But, now, she thought, violet eyes wide with surprise and sadness. I guess, Danny really isn't as troublesome as I thought. Because now, I know just how wrong I was.

Danny looked down at the floor, and was startled when a fragile pair of arms wrapped themselves around him. He stared into his mother's beautiful violet eyes, hating how fragile she looked.

He could see the pain and understanding in her eyes. Could practically read every thought running through her mind as she tried to comprehend it all. Tried to understand. Like an open book. And it was on him.

Danny hugged back, squeezing his mother tightly, yet soft enough so that he didn't crush her with his added strength, partly from ghost fighting and partly from his added ghost strength.

His baby blue eyes flickered over to his father, who had wide eyes and was staring at his son, gaping.

Maddie sniffed and let go, before walking over to the other teens in the room and questioning how long they had known.

She had barely asked her first question before the sound of a powering up ecto-gun filled the ears of the occupants in the room.

Wide eyes turned to where Jack pointed an ecto-gun at the chest of a now human Danny.

"Daddy, stop!" Jazz screamed, tears welling up in her eyes. "Jasmine stay back. I don't want this filth to hurt you." Jack sneered, but the faintest hint of a wink left his eye, to which Maddie caught on.

"Kids stay back! Let Jack handle this." Maddie said, making sure that the children were away from where Jack pointed the gun at Danny. Danielle attempted to phase through, but Maddie was wearing a new and improved phase proof jumpsuit, rendering her unable.

"Dad, I'm your son! It's me! Danny!" Danny yelled, taking a step backwards in an attempt to leave the situation he was put it.

Jack glared and shot the ecto-gun at the young halfa. "You're not my son."

A/N: Don't kill me! Don't kill me! I'm so sorry, so many of you are going to hate me for this, I just know it! I apologize for doing this, but please don't kill me! Don't worry, this is obviously not the next chapter, but please don't kill me for doing this!

Alright, so yeah! This chapter was actually 11 pages long, and 5,325 words, including author's notes! Be glad, I just added like, 5 pages and 2,000 words to last chapter! Happy? Probably not, considering that ending I just gave you, but I said I was sorry!

Please don't kill me and review!
