Hello, Readers! Silent-Reaper here! My sincerest apologies for not uploading for almost week!

I have to admit, this chapter was rushed and quite shorter. I say that I'm not really proud of it.

And before you read I'll have some explanations. You can skip it if you want to. I don't mind.

[Explanation]

Before I was about start this chapter, my English Teacher dropped a bombshell of a project that we had to work with a partner. It was some Africa-Business thing to make a sustainable business in Africa and we had to come up with our own ideas as to how to help Africa.

Let's just say me and my partner were panicking as to how the hell do we make a profitable business with a successful and helpful product. Plus we had to buy suits for some of that EXTRA CREDIT SON.

Plus I was helping my friends and family with the upcoming party plans during the weekends. So no time with writing...

AND I was planning on some drafts and for future chapters for this story, and the idea on how to start Jaune Joestar Arc

[Explanation Over]

Okay so let's do some Review Responses! Yaaaay!

Merendinomiliano: Thanks for the advice, you're a great help to me! And you made me think of some plans for future chapters. Thank you for offering your OC, and I'm very grateful that you have thought of it, but I think I can manage. Please treat me well!

neonfairytail: PRAISE THE SUN, MY DUDE!

TheDoodlerofWriteing: I'll be a bit more description when our Jauney boy fights a certain mace-wielding individual.

Random Stranger: The explanation between the difference between [Sunshine] and Aura and Semblances will be coming quite soon. And I'm planning on using that idea. Just don't know how to make sense of it.

viftech: I'm glad you liked the story!

Baron Bolt: I am thinking of doing the "Descendants of the Sins" idea in this story. And I'm trying to think which sin matched the best with what character. But time will tell.

Ultor: I'll say this again, thank you for being interested in my story!

Itz Syndrome: Thank you, my dude. I hope I don't disappoint you with my amateur writing skills!

Here we go!

In the Arc mansion, Vert Encolère Arc was sitting in front of the mirror in the master-bedroom. His head in his hands. The lamps lit the room.

He looked in the mirror and saw his face covered in sweat from stress and anger.

Surrounding him were an array of tools for opening things. Simple tools like crowbars, screwdrivers, swords, chainsaws, guns and all that. All of them broken.

In front of him was the source of his struggle. His frustration. His AGONY.

A small rectangular black box. Carved on the box was a symbol of a lion-head.

...and that's it. Nothing much to it...

...Except he can't seem to remember the reason why he would waste his time opening this godDAMN LITTLE BOX THAT'S IMPOSSIBLE TO OPEN?!

Breathe in...Breathe out...

Okay, now he remembers.

Ever since his son's...curse was discovered a year after his birth, Rouge gave him this box and ordered him to use every possible method to open this damn thing.

Her reason was that the Arc fairy tale book she kept reading in the library says that something important is inside. Something that can help their son in the future.

He held the box in his hands and closely inspected the simple contraption. How will this tiny thing help any of them? Secondly, what was this thing even made of? All of the tools barely even scratched the surface!

More importantly, who even carved the lion on the supposedly indestructible surface!?

For his entire 15 years of being a fully-fledged Huntsman risking his life fighting Grimm, 13 years of being a father to EIGHT children while not dying from said children, AND forgetting about his wedding anniversary ONE time, they are all nothing compared to these past 4 years of prying this box open...

"VERT!" he heard his wife's voice cried downstairs. The box was quickly forgotten and he ran outside the bedroom in lightning speed.

He immediately spotted his son in Rouge's arms, unconscious, along with his daughters following closely behind her. Their faces tensed and distraught.

His eyebrows furrowed and he rushed down the stairs.

"What happened!? Are you all injured?" He said once he was close.

"It's Jaune! His power just manifested!" Rouge placed their son on the leather couch in the living room.

"In the night?" He gave her a perplexed look."You said his curse works if the Sun is out!"

"Mother, Father, what are you talking about?" inquired Tempérance. "What's wrong with Jaune?"

"Yeah! What's this talk about powers and curses, Daddy?" Charité asked as her eyes gazed at her little bro.

Both parents looked at each other, sending a message through their eyes. Then Rouge turned to their daughters,"Your brother was born with a power hidden deep within him." The Seven Sisters were more confused.

"His power only grows as the Sun rises. It shouldn't appear in the night." They were even more eager to know.

"We'll tell you more once your brother wakes up." Vert intervened."It's getting late, so you all go to bed."

"WHAT!" They all bellowed. "But we want to know now, you even said so, Mom!"

"And this is a serious matter that both your mother and I need to focus on without wasting time explaining every single small detail. We need to tend Jaune right now, so please go to bed, girls."

The sisters were reluctant to go. But seeing the state of their brother, they knew it was the best choice, and they trudged up the stairs.

Once their daughters left to their rooms, Vert turned to his wife,"What exactly happened in the festival that caused this?"

"I'm not exactly sure. We were all walking around playing games and enjoying the festival until Jaune wanted to try the Test-Your-Strength game." she explained as she takes off Jaune's jacket and white shirt.

"The man who ran the stand was making him angry and his power revealed itself."

"Is that what triggered his curse?"

"Vert, again, NOT a curse. Let's not jump to conclusions yet." She turned Jaune on his stomach and saw a sight that stunned her. No...not now...

The image was sprawled all over his back.

Vert stared at it appalled,"Isn't this symbol..?"

"The Lion's Sin..."

The symbol's light was dim, but fresh. Small traces of heat were still radiating off of it. The Prideful Lion's eyes sent shivers down their spines. It was enough for Vert to start sweating bullets. He clenched his teeth. his decision was clear.

"This will be the last time he will go outside." he declared, though his voice wavered. Rouge immediately landed her gaze at him. Enraged crimson met fearful forest-green.

"What?"

"You heard me, Rouge!" Vert yelled. "His curse is getting stronger now. He must never see the light of day again! We're only lucky that one person saw him with that curse!"

"That choice is not for you to decide!" she picked up Jaune, and began escorting him to his room."Every single time we talk about his powers, you end up like this."

He slammed his boot down,"Don't you walk away from me, Rouge! That curse of his can't be controlled!"

Rouge stopped and stood still. Not turning around. Vert was about to walk over and place a hand on her shoulder. But upon closer inspection he noticed her shoulders are shaking. He didn't dare approach any further. Dammit, out of all the times for her to be pissed. Tonight is just full of headaches...

He chose to use a calm approach anyway.

"...Listen, Honey, you need to understand that this is serious-!"

"And YOU need to stop being a fool and let your fear decide your choices." She argued. "After I put Jaune in bed, we WILL have a talk tomorrow." She continued walking up the stairs. "You'll sleep on that couch tonight."

"Wha-?" A loud shut of a door echoed through the mansion, and he slumped against the couch. His head hung low. "Why can't she understand!?" he groaned. "This must be warning! Oum couldn't make it any clearer!"

Meanwhile, a small dark presence appeared in his shadow, it's ominous smile grew wider. The shadow slowly went back inside him. It was gone unnoticed by Vert, who was busy ventilating about Remnant's future.

To think that the book she keeps reading was true.

His son...no...that Thing is going to be Humanity's next destroyer...

Once the door was slammed, Rouge flipped the switch and the lamps in each corner lit up. She inspected the room.

Jaune's room was the only place in the building designed to have no windows, so that he will have no contact with the Sun. The lamps were the only source of light, besides the television. The king-size bed was surrounded by seven stuffed-animals and an abundance of random toys. On the right side of the bed was a book shelf filled with a variety children's books she would read to him.

She gently placed her son on the bed, and examined his current state. Fortunately, his breathing went back to normal, along with his body temperature. She pulled out her handkerchief and wiped the sweat on his forehead. As she does this, her mind wonders back to Vert.

Whatever happened to the kindhearted man she married? He was rarely this short-tempered and illogical. And tonight seemed to be worse. They'll have to discuss more on what to do with their son later in the morning. But speaking of their son, how did his power awaken at midnight?

Rouge recalled the amount of raw power that radiated off of him. The heat kept escalating as seconds go by, just like how the journal depicted. His demeanor changed and strength increasing. The sight of her son growing in size in front of their very eyes had shaken her to her core.

And yet, since it was night, she believes that form was his weakest.

It just seems so impossible, irrational, and...and...

Sigh. Why can't things just go smoothly?

She focused on her son, his face was tired, but peaceful. She cupped his cheek and smiled when he leaned into her hand. She really wanted this peace to last forever, but alas, that's not what life wanted for her, huh? She tucked Little Jaune into bed, shut the lights, and quietly went out the room.

Guess I have to go visit the library again...

And to think her little baby boy will be Humanity's next savior...

"-ake up, please."

Ugh. Wh-who's that?

"-p, my boy! Time for you to get up."

Jaune's eyes sparked open, and he jolted up his bed. The first thing he noticed was its color. Was it always pink? Then he looked around the unfamiliar environment.

The wooden floor was checkered, unlike the normal carpet flooring. The frame of the room was green, and if he didn't know any better he would've thought they were vines. And that's not the most interesting thing about this...there were windows! And it appears to be morning. It looks so bright... He was shuffling closer to the beautiful sunlight-

"Ahem."

Jaune stopped his movements, and he turned to see a man sitting on a small chair with a tea set on the table. He was wearing some sort of butler's outfit with a red bow-tie and glasses. The man had combed blonde hair that almost looks orange in the shade. And he's also scrawny as he was.

"H-hello, my boy. Would you like some tea?" the butler offered.

"Wh-where am I?"

"Well... How should I explain this?" the man pondered. "Oh! Umm..." the man offered his hand, the other rubbing the back of his head, and smiled shyly.

"Before I go explaining things, I'll have to greet m-myself to my descendant first! Welcome t-to the Boar Hat! I am its barkeeper."

"Descendant...?" Jaune took a moment to process the man's words."That means-!"

"-Yup. I'm your ancestor! Escanor Arc!"

"Wh-what?"

Surpriiiiiiiiiise! Yeah, that last part was the rush section of this story. I would've gotten into more detail, but I lost some inspiration along the way and decided that Chapter 4 will tell the rest.

I did spend some time watching RWBY again and watching Season 2 of Seven Deadly Sins, just so I get the behavior correctly for future character appearances.

For the next chapter, I will try to be more descriptive and and longer. And since I have the weekend free of nothing to do, I will try just that. Expect some explanations of family history, Aura, Semblances, yada yada yada.

This week will also be a bit busy for me, since the project due date is on Wednesday and Drama Club practices. So please wait for the next chapter a bit longer!

...

Oh! I did mention that I was going to point out certain details and Easter-eggs last chapter, didn't I? Well here they are.

-The Seven Sisters' names are from the Seven Heavenly Virtues.

-The stuffed-animals they won are their opposites.

-The clothes that Little Jaune wears in this chapter is similar to those of Escanor's in the Vampire Clan flashback, and his first time using the [Sunshine]has the same appearance.

-The reason of how Jaune awakened his [Sunshine] powers will be explained next chapter.

Again, I'M SORRYYYY FOR SUCH A SHORT CHAPTERRRRR~!

Okay that's it from me! Leave tons of comments and reviews! Please! Any help and advice is much appreciated!

I want to improve and make my writing rival that of Coeur Al'Aran! THAT I SWEAR!
