Okay, let me be simple and straight to the point. Severus is the same age that J.K Rowling gave him in the story. Forget I tried to tweak with Severus age, please forget that. It also came to my attention, that I have grammar issues and that I miss a lot of grammar mistakes. Quite honestly this is the first well second eh first story that I have actually written, not to mention that my grammar rules all over the place since English is not my first language, and in some ways I am trilingual which makes my writing even more horrible. Therefore, I'm begging whoever is a certified Beta Reader who wants to take up the challenge of helping me with this story to please help me. I would really appreciate it. If you're interested in being my Beta please PM me. Thanks.

Hermione waited for a few seconds before the door was opened and the scowling potions master stood before her. "Yes? How can I be of service Miss Granger?" Snape asked as a dark eyebrow rose in question.
"I was wondering if we could talk professor", answered Hermione with a serene expression. It was better to hide all the nervousness and fear from this man, he would only mock her and make the upcoming conversation harder for Hermione to withstand.
"Well don't just stand there girl, Come in.", snarled Snape. Hermione carefully crossed into the potions classroom and took a seat. "Thank you sir, I know this meeting was unexpected." stated Hermione politely.
"I expected it. Now, Miss Granger regarding the circumstances of last night it wasn't right for me to intrude in your privacy as a student. If you wish I will walk with you to the Headmasters office and explain the entire situation -" Snape tried to say before he was interrupted.
Hermione frowned at him, "Sir, with all respect, I wasn't here to complain or cause a scene. I am here in regards to the solution you kindly offered me yesterday," She explained in a quiet voice. Professor Snape kept silent as he intently stared her down . Hermione swallowed hard and continued "I would like to accept sir, if the offer still stands."
Hermione focused her eyes to the bookshelf behind his head, and refused to look at him. Uncomfortable silence soon followed, after a few minutes the silence was broken by Professor Snape as he leaned back on his chair, the dark wood cracking as his weight shifted.
Hermione snapped her eyes to his, as he replied, "Of course it does you foolish child. Now get out."
"Thank you professor," Hermione replied as she immediately got out of her seat and was halfway to the door when she heard his voice crack like a whip behind her "I shall inform the headmaster and the ministry." Hermione turned around a nodded and quickly fled from the room.
Hermione thought it would be best to get out of Snape's hair as soon as possible, giving him no chances to humiliate her or change his mind. Plus it also gave her the chance to flee, Professor Snape made her nervous. Hermione soon stopped after having put some distance between herself and the potions master. She leaned against the dungeon wall and put a hand to her chest and tried to calm her beating heart. She had to stop reacting to him this way.
"Granger!" someone drawled from behind her. Hermione shrieked as she turned around to step directly into Draco Malfoy.
"What the hell is wrong with you? You damned imbecile!" Hermione panted out as she tried to calm her racing heart. Between Snape and his Slytherins, she would end up with heart problems, Hermione thought bitterly.
"What are you doing here? Did you come to say thank you personally?" Draco snapped at her.
Hermione narrowed her eyes at him "Excuse you? Why in the seven hells would I be thanking you?" Hermione retorted.
"I don't know Granger, for saving you from the ministry and from anyone who wants to get a piece of your sweet ass these days?" Draco responded.
"I have no idea what you're talking about Malfoy, now if you excuse me." Hermione replied as she tried to shoulder her way past him. Only to have her way blocked by the broad shouldered Slytherin, Hermione crossed her arms as she narrowed her eyes at him.
"Granger stop denying your situation, you need me. " Draco retorted as he glared down at her. Hermione glanced up at him, noticing how the usually crude boy was almost being cordial with her.
Hermione sighted "Alright Malfoy explain yourself, because I have no clue what you're referring to and honestly I'm quite interested in why you would think I need you."
Draco started incredulously down at her, "Did you not receive the Roses and the letter mother wrote you?" He thundered. "I swear if Goyle gave them to Millicent, I will pummel him." He muttered viciously.
"What Roses? Are you insane? Did you send me flowers? And why is your mother writing to me?" Hermione screeched, as she took a step closer to him.
Draco slowly backed away from her as he ran a hand through his longish blonde hair, "Shite Granger. The d—The Malfoys, My family, eh well me, want you to marry me."
The silence that followed was not uncomfortable; it was the silence that made you think that you were the last person in the world.
"WHAT gave you the RIGHT to humiliate me SO? WHO gave you the idea that I would be DESPERATE enough to marry YOU!?" Hermione roared.
"Damn it Granger, don't be so proud and realize the opportunities that marrying would give you and how it would save your life." Draco countered.
"I don't care Malfoy, do you think just because you pop out a marriage offer that I would forget all the crap you put me through these past 7 years? And that's not mentioning what your lovely family has done to me!" She replied as she removed the glamour that hid the mudblood scar that Bellatrix Lestrange had given her.
"Hermione, please. We would make you a part of our world; we would accept you as you are. We want you by our side Hermione." Draco appealed.
Hermione exposed the red scar to Draco as he fixated his eyes in the pale skin marred by dark magic that his family accepted and condoned.
"This is what your family has to offer me."
Hermione then knew that she had made her point crystal clear, and hoped that he would refrain himself from attempting to torment her in the future. "Now if you excuse me, I have to go to my first class."
Hermione then quickly made her way to the Charms class room, just in time before the class started and took her normal seat with Harry and Ron. Taking out her charms book, she quietly tapped both boys in the arm.
"Malfoy asked me to marry him,"
"What? Did you someone hit you with a Confundous charm in your way in? Ron asked looking amused.
Hermione crossed her arms across her chest, "No, He cornered me in the dungeons."
"What were you doing in the dungeons?" Harry probed
"I had a Private meeting with Professor Snape," Hermione muttered while silently hoping they won't ask why she went to see Snape.
"Malfoy must have been playing a joke on you 'Mione. Plus he would never marry a muggleborn like you; it goes against everything he believes in. Malfoy's just being a prick, just trying to make things worse." Harry answered.
"Yeah 'Mione, plus isn't he supposed to be betrothed to Pansy? Ron argued reasonably.
Hermione flipped the pages of the charms textbook, trying to find the page that Professor Flitwick had assigned to be read, "Honestly he seemed pretty serious, but you guys might be right." Hermione replied.
"Of course we're right. So 'Mione have you snapped out the fool mood you been in?" Ron replied heartily.
Hermione noticed the quick movement of Harry jamming his elbow into Ron's side.
"I know I haven't been a joy to be around lately, but if you would just understand my position, perhaps you would understand why I'm acting this way." Hermione argued.
Harry sighted, "Hermione, the war is over. We have the rest of our lives ahead of us; the fact that we have to get married shouldn't affect us. We were all going to get married at some point, so why be mad?"
"Maybe the rest of us had another plan instead of getting married; I wanted to continue my education. I wanted to travel the world, not be tied down and be forced to have kids!" Hermione disputed.
"Hermione you can still do all of that and more, your husband whoever he ends up being, would probably allow you to continue your education. Blimey, Hermione everyone knows how important learning is to you." Ron replied as he placed his head in his hands.
Hermione took a deep breath "About that, there's something you should know."
Harry and Ron both narrowed their eyes at the same time, almost making Hermione burst out laughing. "Relax; I'm desperate enough to agree to marry Malfoy."
"Well what are you going to do then? You have a few months left to meet the perfect guy and marry him." Harry continued cautiously "unless you're planning to go live with muggles,"
Hermione played with the pencil she had in her hand, and twirled it around, hoping to avoid Harry's stare. "Well, I already met the perfect guy. Only that he's not that perfect, there's a few complications you guys should know about."
"Well 'Mione what kind of complications could this perfect guy have, and what's the blokes name?" Ron inquired.
"Well... He's a bit older, and he has a strong personality." Hermione replied carefully, completely avoiding giving him a name. "And he can also be depicted as cold, cynical, malicious, bitter and mostly sarcastic but overall he is a very intelligent individual." *1
"What's his name Hermione?" snarled Harry.
"Severus Snape." Hermione answered quietly.
"Bloody hell Hermione," Ron asked while placing his head in his hands. "Are you barking mad?"
Hermione looked between her two best friends, "Well it's not like I had a lot of options. Between Snape and Malfoy, I choose Snape." She shrugged "Snape is the better man; I believe I have better chances of being happy with him than Malfoy."
"Blimey," Ron muttered with a groan.
"Did you ask him, Hermione?" Harry questioned. "Did you force him into this? You know he's thinks he owes you a wizards debt for saving him after the accident with Nagini."
"No, He asked me last night after dinner." She continued acidly, "Without me throwing myself at his feet."
Harry just looked at her without replying and the conversation ended with Ron looking at her muttering untellable things every few minutes. The class soon ended and Hermione quickly gathered her stuff and made her way quickly out of the classroom after stating that she would be in the library before lunch if anyone needed her.
Hermione made her way to the library where she went to her favorite table hidden at the end of the library. The table was hidden with bookshelves surrounding it, but fortunately had a large window that faced school grounds where she could see hagrid's cabin in the distance, and the path leading up to the forbidden forest.
Hermione sighted as she took her seat, and promptly put her head down on the desk. Risking the temptation of smacking her head against the ancient wood, Hermione started pulling things out of her rucksack. She placed her books in a pile and her homework assignments in another, while taking the pile of stolen book pages out and hiding them under her robes. She stood up and calmly started walking about the bookshelves, until she found the book she wanted after a quick reparo she was back at her desk hard at work.
Hermione sighted and cracked her neck, being the first in her class took time and dedication. People incorrectly concluded that she was the top student based only on her intelligence, what they didn't realize was that it was based on all the time she dedicated towards her studies.
Hermione sighted, contemplating how the rest of the year will fare after the shit hit the fan, the "Shit" would be the general public knowing that she would marry Severus Snape. Hermione smirked, the unwanted know-it-all Hermione and the greasy git of the dungeons, married. How delightful, Hermione's thought as her smirk turned into a frown. Hermione's was interrupted from her wanderings when she heard her name being screamed.
"Hermione, Hermione, Hermione!" Came Ginny's screams of desperation from the other side of the library, Hermione rapidly got up and gathered her stuff with a quick wave of her wand.
"What's the matter?! Why are you screaming?" Hermione answered hurrying to Ginny's side.
"Harry collapsed in the Gryffindor common room, McGonagall had Harry moved to the hospital wing. The problem is that he woke up in shock. He's terrified; He refuses to have anyone near him." Ginny rapidly said this in a rush.
"Why does there always has to be drama with Harry?" Hermione mutters as she is forced to through the door by a frantic Ginny.
The girls quickly make their way up the Hospital wing, passing students and teacher alike. Once in front of the hospital wings heavy doors, Ginny walks up to the doors, and meekly knocks. No response is heard. Ginny graced Hermione with a small look before squaring her shoulders and stepping through the doors quietly. Hermione followed after her and glanced around noting the quietness around her and the complete lack of students.
Harry stood facing the windows, with Ron slumped next to him by the wall. Hermione walked next to Harry, and turned to face him and gasped, the famous scar that once graced his face was gone.
"Harry... What happened to your scar?" Hermione whispered brushing his longish hair away from his forehead.
"I… -I had a vision, and was knocked out with the force of it." Harry answered shakily.
"When he woke up the scar was gone." Ron added quietly.
"A vision you say? What kind of vision?" Hermione asked anxiously.
"He saw black and mostly emptiness." Ginny answered.
"Has anyone told Dumbledore?" Hermione questioned.
"We assume professor McGonagall informed him after Harry lost his head here and kicked her and Madame Promfey out," Ginny replied.
Hermione sighted and took a seat on one of the beds, "Maybe it took all these months for the remaining traces of dark magic to get out of your system."
"Maybe," Harry conceded, his shoulders relaxing just a bit.
"But what if Voldemort is not really gone, what if he's still alive somehow?" Ron asked.
"No. He's gone. We destroyed all of the Horcruxes, Harry even died. There's no way." Hermione argued. Hermione pondered, "Harry even died… Harry even died!" what if Voldemort made a new Horcrux?" Hermione narrowed her eyes, but kept quiet. There was no reason to alarm Harry with random inconclusive thoughts.
"Your right, Hermione. Maybe I was freaking out for no reason, it- it just scared me for a second. It reminded me of the horrifying visions that I used to have." Harry answered pitifully.
"It's okay Harry, we understand." Ginny replied carefully, while putting her arms around him. Laying her head on Harry's shoulder she added "Maybe we should all go to lunch now,"
Hermione soon found herself surrounded by her dearest friends as they sat together at Gryffindor table and soon realized that maybe with their support facing life as soon-to-be Hermione Snape wouldn't be so bad. Not with the war over, and peace throughout the magical world, Hermione tried to convince herself.
