Jake and Marco arrived in the alley with five of the strongest guys around. They barged into the apartment room like the FBI. Danny disappeared and Rachel yelped, noticing the seven guys surrounding her in the room. The ghost restraints disappeared along with the criminal, and she dove under the bed covers. Logan, John and Piotr of the X-Men left to go after Danny while Warren (Angel) flew off to get some new clothes and medical equipment to fix Rachel up with. Bobby (Iceman), Marco and Jake stayed behind to make sure she's ok. Once the other men had left, Rachel poked her head out from underneath the covers.

"Holy shit," Marco said sympathetically, noticing how bad she looked.

"Marco, call the police." Jake suggested.

"No, Jake. We are the police, man. I mean, come on. Us, the X-Men, all fighting against one fucking twisted lil prick. The odds are pretty goddamn good for us." Jake shook his head and followed Marco outside into the alley.

"Bobby, can you come here?" Jake asked.

"Iceman here."

Your ice heals wounds and stuff, right?" Bobby nodded. "Okay. Can you use your powers to heal Rachel?"

"Sure thing," Bobby smiled and entered the apartment. Jake shut the door behind him, staying outside with Marco. He sat down on the ground with his back leaning against the door. Marco sat down beside him and put his hand on Jake's thigh. Jake looked over at him and they kissed. Marco put his arms around Jake's neck and sat on his lap facing him. Jake moaned into the kiss and they were back to making out.

Bobby sat next to Rachel on the bed and saw tears rolling down her face. They'd been friends for a long time, yet she didn't look over at him.

"Rachel," he said softly. "I want to make everything better. I'm so sorry you had to go through that. Can I help you? Will you let me heal you?"

She shrugged and drew her knees to her chest.

"I won't hurt you, Rach. I just wanna help you. I will never hurt you." He tried again in a comforting voice.

"It – it does hurt…" She said finally, nodding. Bobby iced his hand over and placed it gently against her fore-arm. When he removed his hand, the scrape that was there had vanished, completely healed. He slowly extended her leg and placed his hand against her thigh where a bruise was forming. That as well healed and vanished after a few moments. Rachel ran her fingertips over where the bruise once was, and looked into Bobby's eyes smiling.
