"Did I die... again?" he groaned, his eyes still closed.
After about five minutes, he opened his eyes. His head hurt like hell and he put his hand to it. He then sat up. No, he couldn't have died again. All that had happened suddenly came flooding back to him and he gasped. Everything was gone. He remembered running on to the TARDIS yelling at the others to run and join him. But then the doors shut tight and the others were pounding on the door, but the Doctor didn't go back. The universe was fading, and no one could do anything about it... Or could they?
Jack hated to doubt the Doctor, but he wondered if the Doctor could have done anything, but chose not too.
"No. That's stupid. Course he would have done something if he could... right?" he shook his head, trying to dismiss the thought.
Jack stood up and attempted to remember the map of the TARDIS that he'd seen somewhere before.
