Hello everyone. T'is I, Kyroshiro, here with another chapter of Electrical Maelstrom.
I know I haven't updated in a few weeks, and I apologize. The end of the school year, plus exams were clouding my thoughts, and then afterwards I was busy relaxing for a bit. Then I began watching an anime called Noragami, and I haven't been able to think of much else. Its a really good anime imo. I'm going to be watching some anime that my friend has recommended, and I may do a Naruto/Noragami fic... not sure how I'll have that go if I decide to do it...
Also, I've took to typing this on my phone as my laptop is wigging out atm. I think I'm going to be typing all my fics. on my phone as I'm more accustomed to using my phone to read on FF. We'll see how things go I suppose...
Anyways, I believe its time for this chapter to start, ne?

Naruto looked around in a bored kind of way. There was not much to do as Ash was busy training Caterpie, whom had evolved into a Butterfree as they were exiting the forest, and Scyther. Tina was asleep next to their things while he looked at the two pokemon battling one another.
"Butterfree, use Psywave," Ash calles out as the Bug/Flying type did as he asked. The rainbow colores beam was heading towards Scyther, whon erected a green shield known as Protect. "Now Scyther, retaliate with an X-Scissor!" The mantis pokemon shot at the butterfly with its arms glowing a greenish hue. Butterfree flew out of the way at the last moment as Scyther impaled a tree. "Nice work you two!" The two Bug types grinned at their new trainer.
"We can really see the work you two are putting into this," Naruto said as he walkes up to stand next to Ash, his scythe like tail twitching as he went on all fours. "Now, how's about a battle between us and you two?" Ash thought for a moment. If they practiced against an electric type, they would be able to handle one of their weaknesses better, even though Scyther would lose that weakness when he evolved.
"Alright," Ash spoke as he agreed to the battle. "Butterfree and Scyther versus Naruto. Think of this as training to stand up to one of your weaknesses, even though Scyther is gonna lose that weakness when you evolve." The two Bug types grinnes as they prepared to battle the ninja turned pokemon. "This battle will go one until either team is knocked out, or if I think the battle should stop. Begin!"
Naruto grinned as he started off with an Electro Ball. Ash had done some studying up as he researched everything that he could on being a trainer. He learned about the other reigons and noticed that Electro Ball was a move commonly used in Unova. Scyther parried the Electro Ball with a Quick Attack into X-Scissor combo. Butterfree tried to hit the Electric type with a course the ninja turned Pokemon easily dodged it while using Iron Tail to block the Quick Attack/X-Scissor combo. He then shot off a Thunderbolt through the Iron Tail that shocked the Bug/Flying type who backed off as he felt the volts of electricity flowimg through him. Butterfree wisely flew up higher to get out of the attacks range.
"No ya don't," Naruto shouted as he shot off with a Quick Attack as he used chakra to strengthen the attack. The butterfly, however, erected a green shield. Naruto cursed silently as he hit the Protect. He heard something behind him and turned to see Scyther coming in with his scyth-hands glowing black, signifying a Night Slash attack. Naruto cursed again, before he used a Quick Attack to get out of the situation. He then focused some energy into his paws, before they both glowed a bright white color, before turning a light blue color when he added chakra to them. He waited until Scyther, whom had changes trajectory towards his target, was close before unleashing his surprise attack.
"FOCUS PUNCH," he shouted as he punched the Bug/Flying type. Scyther went wide eyed at that, before he closes his eyes in pain as Narutos glowing fists got aquainted with his abdomen, before he was sent flying through a few trees. He then turned to a shocked Butterfree and fired of an Electro Ball that sent the Bug/Flying type to the ground. He grinned when he saw them struggle to get up. He loved their determination.
"And the winner is Naruto," Ash said causing the trio to whine. They wanted to continue after all. It was at this point that they all noticed the sun was high in the sky, signifying it was noon. Tina had woken up by this point and was eagerly awaiting lunch made in courtesy by Ash and Naruto. The ex-ninja-in-training was glad he could still use Chakra to get this done easier with Shadow Clones. The male really knew how to cook. They had finished making their lunch and had all dug in.
"So Ash, what shall we be doing once we arrive in Pewter City," Naruchu asked as he dug into some Roasted Cheri Berry Soup. He just loved the sour taste of the berries. Tina was eating some Pecha Berry Salad, while Scyther and Butterfree opted for some PokeFood made by the Ash and Naruto. Ash himself was eating a mix of a Salad and Berries as well as a small side of Fried Magikarp. No doubt he wouldn't be eating that if ever caught a Magikarp/Gyarados...
Ash hummed in thought as he planned out what they would be doing. "We'll more than likely train a little bit more and then take on the gym," replied the raven haired boy. "Afterwards, we can relax and maybe go to the Museum. I hear they have a new Fossil Exhibit." Naruto nodded, still getting used to this new world a bit. "If we're lucky, maybe we can get a Fossil. I've kinda wanted an Aerodactyl or a Kabutops. And with that new Restoring Machine they have in on Cinnibar Island, as well as the gym, we could have that chance." They finished up their lunch before Ash packed up all their things. "Alright. Lets keep going now. You guys can stay out of your Pokeballs for now. I'll return you guys when we get to the Pokemon Center so they can heal you guys." The four Pokemon nodded as Butterfree floated up to Ash's hat where he rested on. Naruto and Tina sat on Ash's shoulders and Scyther walked next to Ash in a defensive position.
(Pewter City)
The group had just arrived into the city just as the sun was going down. Ash smiled tiredly as he entered the nearby PikeCenter. The Nurse Joy there looked up from her desk. It was rather empty in the center.
"Hello, welcome to the Pokemon Center," Joy said as she smiled at the group. Ash gave a small smile as well and was about to answer before his eyes rolled back into his head and he crumpled to the ground conpletely exhausted. Buttetfree flew, albeit disoriented, before he too fell to the floor asleep. Scyther tried to play off his exhaustion, but any trained person could see through the facade. Tina and Naruto were better than the rest, Naruto moreso. "Oh my!" Nurse Joy quickly called for some Chansey to help take them to a room, though she led Scyther and Butterfree with her to rest in the Pokemon Room. Naruto and Tina refused to leave Ash so they slept in the same room.
(Next Day)
The bright morning sun shined down on our heroes faces. Of course they were annoyed ij being awoken that way.
'We swear we're going to murder the sun slowly and painfully as soon as we find a way for the consequences to be avoidable,' Naruto thought. He sighed before he stretched out. He looke in Tina's direction to see her rubbing her eyes with her paws, on of her ears bent down as she yawned, showing some of her canines. 'Cute.' He shook his head of the thought before he went through some excersize plans before training.
Tina, meanwhile, was looking around the room, noticing that Ash had already gone to the restroom to get ready for the day. She looked around until her eyes rested upon our resident dimension traveler. She felt herself grow hot before shw shook her head. 'Wow calm down,' she thought to herself, absentmindly noticing that Naruchu was stretching and getting ready for training. 'I just met him. Way to soon for THOSE thoughts...' She then noticed that Ash had finally returned. She quickly hopped onto his shoulder, Naruto hopping onto the other one.
"You guys ready for the day," the raven haired boy said, getting a nod and 'Hai' from Tina and Naruto respectively. "Welp, lets get to some training before we go to the gym!" Naruto grinned as they walked out.
(Pewter City Gym)
Its been an exciting day for the group of five as they had trained long and hard for this match. Ash could barely hold in his excitement as he entered the gym, his Pokemon by his side.
It was time to see if their training fully paid off.
"Hello," Ash calles as he entered the main portion of the gym. "I'm here for a battle. Is anyone her-" He was cut if when lights flashed down on his form. Ash shielded his eyes from the sudden brightness, befoere his eyes adjusted. He saw a figure standing at the far end of the gym. The figure was that of a male with dark skin and brown hair. He had on a blavk shirt with an arange stripe going from his left shoulder through his chest and ending on his right shoulder. He had on khaki pants and black sneakers. Another thing to note was that his eyes were squinted.
"Who dares to challenge the Pewter Gym," the male asked, before his eyes locked on to Ash and his Pokemon. "Are you the challenger?" Ash nodded too excited to speak. The Gym Leader looked at Ash's Pokemom before snickering. "How long have you been a trainer?" Ash was confused.
"Uh, about a week Mr. Gym Leader," Ash answered truthfully. The Gym Leader laughed when heard that. The group became annoyed.
"So you're just amother Newbie who thinks they can beat a gym," Gym Leader said. "Well I can't really deny a challenge, not that this'll be one. Very well, this'll be a two on two match in which only the challenger may use substituition. When both Pokemon on either players side are unable to battle, the battle is over. I hope you give me some sort of challenege." With that he threw a Pokeball, releasing a rock with two arms.
"Geodude," the Pokemon said its name. Ash growled at the man. He turned to Scyther.
"You ready Scyther," Ash asked the mantis, whom nodded as he walked onto the field.
(Play Gym Leader theme; Pokemon Firered/Leafgreen version)
"I, Gym Leader Brock, accept your challenege," Brock said. "Now Geodude, use Rock Throw!" The Rock/Ground type nodded before it picked up a piece of rock from the floor and hurled into at Scyther at an extremely fast pace.
"Dodge and use Quick Attack into Night Slash combo," Ash said as the Bug/Flying type did as asked, scoring a critical hit with the Night Slash. Geodude cried out as it was fling into a wall. It quickly got up and returned to the battle as it growled at the mantis.
"Geodude, Rock Slide," Brock said as Geodude roared, causing rocks to appear above Scyther, whom dodged a majority of them. Sadly, he was hit by a few of them, weakening him greatly.
"Scyther, use Brick Break," Ash yelled as Scyther flew at the Rock/Ground Pokemon at incredibly fast speeds with a glowing scythe.
"Geodude, Rock Toss," Brock called out, prompting the rock to grab a piece of stone and throw it at the incoming Pokemon. The stone hit, getting a pained yelp from the Pokemon, who persevered and hit the rock Pokemon. Both Pokemon fell to the ground with swirl eyes. "This match is a draw. Send out your last Pokemon. I'll give you some credit, you managed to knock out one of my Pokemon. However, this Is where I send you home to your mother. No one has ever beaten Onix before. Lets go!" Brock was really getting on the groups nerves.
"Scyther return, you did great," Ash said as Scyther was absorbed into his Pokeball. He was about to send in Tina when Naruto jumped off of his shoulder and landed on the field.
"He made fun of us, he pays dearly now," was Naruto's reply to the silent question. His left eye had turned a shade of purple while his right had gained a red tint. Ash nodded as the match went underway.
"Onix, use Tackle to get the rodent out of here," Brock told the rock snake, whom roared as it charged at the Electric type.
"Naruto Iron Tail," Ash called out as Naruto's tail glowed beforr turning a chrome color. He jumped hgh into the air, as Onix sailed under him, before swinging down and hitting the rock snake on the head. Onix roared in pain from both the supereffective hit and that Naruto's scythe like tail cut through its horn. It fell to the ground uselessly as Naruto focused his energy into his fist. Ash noticed this and grinned. "Focus Punch!" Naruto nodded as he sailed down and hit the Rock/Ground type on the head, causing a shockwave before an explosion occurred. The smoke cleared to show Onix was unconscious. Brock was in shock.
"Onix, no," Brock cried out before he sighed and returned the injured Pokemon. "You did good buddy." Ash cried out in joy.
"We did it," Ash shouted as Butterfree and Naruto jumped up and down in joy. Tina shocked them all by jumping down and tackling Naruto with a hug. She pecked his cheek before twirling him around. The shocked shiny could only look wide-eyed as he was twirled around. Ash stopped cheering when he saw Brock was standing in front of him.
"Congrats, you did what most people couldn't, and that was beat me in an offical match," Brock said as he handed Ash a Boulder Badge. "This is proof that you've beaten the Pewter Gym. Congrats once again on winning the Boulder Badge." Ash began cheering again as was Butterfree. Scyther popped out of his ball and began to cheer as well. Meanwhile Tina grinned at Ash, while Naruto was still dazed.
'We think we're liking this more and more,' Naruto thought as he smiled at Tina, who was unknowing. 'Maybe... just maybe...'
And this all for chapter three. Once again I apologize or not updating in a while, but I've finally gotten to doing it. I do hope that you giys enjoyed this chapter, and hopefully my computer stops wigging out so I can update once again from there, though I'm liking writing from my phone here... Anyways, the next story ill update will probably be Bleeding Darkness or NNL. Yes Ive finally gotten an idea on what I could write for the next chapter. I will tell you to expect some slapping, crying, and a bunch of sappy moments.
In other news, I shall be rewriting Kemono Tamashi and Naruto: Master of Pokemon. Kemono Tamashi because I got a better idea of how to do it, and Master of Pokemon because I really feel like it could have been written a lot better.
Also I've spent some time making a twitter account. I've decided to post any updates I have on my fanfic progress there as well as to keep on touch with my fans and ask for some advice. If you're interested my twitter is Kyroshiro.
