Damn this was difficult to write. I'm so sorry for the long wait guys! I'm trying to start getting motivated for this. Seeing all the views I got for my other stories helped! So, here you go. Sorry it's short!

Disclaimer: I don't own any fairies or tails. Except for my tail, because I'm secretly a Saiyan.

Naruto tapped his feet as he waited at the station. Saki was sat on his head, watching the heated 'discussion' between Natsu and Gray. Lucy was approaching the little group curiously. Naruto smiled widely at her appearance.

"Hey! So, Mira asked you to run damage control?"

Lucy giggled. "How did you know?"

"Well, with these two idiots anything could happen, even if I'm here." Naruto said, gesturing towards the fire and ice mages who were bickering even more viciously than before.

Lucy smiled. "Well, I've heard you're the best mage in the guild. Surely nothing can go wrong with you here?"

Naruto chuckled. "I don't know who you heard that from. Personally, I think that there are lots of others stronger than me. The master, Gildarts, Mystogan, even Laxus and Erza. Plus, I might end up getting distracted. I do that a lot."

The blonde celestial mage frowned. "I-"

"Oh look, there's Erza!"

Natsu and Gray immediately stopped their bickering and threw their arms around each other with terrified forced smiles.

Lucy turned around and gaped at the huge amount of luggage that was trailing behind Erza. Naruto just grinned and waved at the red head.

"Hey Erza! I can see you've packed your whole wardrobe again." Erza smirked at Naruto.

"Well I can see that you've filled you little pockets to the brim. But I don't see my cheesecake anywhere." She raised an eyebrow and put out her hand.

Naruto stuck his tongue out at her. "Do you really think I'm that cheap? I promised didn't I? It's in one of my scrolls, I'll get it out on the train."

Natsu and Gray had finally stopped hugging each other and had moved over to the little group. Natsu didn't look very happy. "Speaking of trains, can't we go some other way? You know I get motion sick."

Naruto just laughed. "If you want you can walk. But you might miss all the action!"

Natsu glowered at him while Gray sniggered at his misfortune.

Erza clapped a hand onto Natsu's shoulder, causing him to buckle at the knees and nearly fall over. "Well, it's time to get on the train. Don't worry Natsu. If you feel really bad I'll give you something to make you feel better."

The pink-haired dragon slayer immediately cheered up and shouted about getting on the train and beating some evil ass. The rest of the group followed behind, with Naruto smiling lightly at the antics of his friends.

(Okay, I'm gonna skip out the stuff on the train. I'm expecting you to know about it if you've read/watched Fairy Tail. The story restarts at the bit where they pick up Natsu, because it happened exactly the same. This is where it changes!)

"Natsu!" yelled Gray. "Hurry up moron the train's starting to move again! If you don't get out here soon then-"

Gray was cut off as Natsu dived out of the window of the slowly accelerating train and crashed into him. Naruto yelled up from the car. "Oi! Watch it you two! Don't break the car!"

Gray's head appeared upside down in the window. "Oh sure. Worry about the car. Don't worry about the fact that we might have been knocked off by Natsu's idiocy."

The sick voice of Natsu emerged from above. "Hey, I object to tha- bleeurg. Oh, there was this weird guy on the train. He said he was from Eisenwald or something. He had this weird flute t-uurgh."

Erza nearly crashed the car in her surprise. "Natsu! He was from the guild we're looking for! How could you not capture him!"

Naruto poked his head through the window to talk to Erza. "To be fair, he was unconscious when we talked about it. So, you want me to follow him? I'll leave Saki here, and you can follow me while I track him."

Erza nodded. "But do it quickly. If he gets any further away even you won't be able to catch him."

Naruto scoffed. "Erza, you wound me. What kind of person do you think I am?" He grinned and jumped of the car, then shouted out "Futon: Basuto Sokudo!" (Wind Style: Burst Speed)

He sped away with a sound like a gunshot, a small breeze ruffling the hair of those in the car.

Lucy was helping Natsu and Gray back through the window.
"Hey, Gray. How come Naruto's just left? Why does he need to leave so fast?"

Saki growled slightly. "You know you could ask me that. He left to track that guy that Natsu let escape."

"Not my fault." echoed from the boy who was trying not to be sick on the floor.

Saki flicked her tail slightly. "It was your fault. Anyway, he left so quickly partly because he can but also because he knows what damage dark guilds like Eisenwald can do. He often takes missions to deal with them."

Lucy thanked and apologised to the cat. Saki just sniffed and nodded at her.

Gray stuck his head through the window. "Hey, Erza? Can you slow down a bit? We're going really fast."

Erza smiled. "I'm not slowing down for a speed acceptable to you Mr. Grandpa."

Natsu sniggered and nearly threw up again. Lucy stuck her head out the other window to joing the conversation. "Why Mr. Grandpa?"

"Well, these cars run off our magical energy. The more you put in, the fast you go. And Gray drives like... I can't think of anything slow enough. If a snail hitched a ride they'd just get off because it would be faster to walk."

Gray groaned. "I'm not that bad. Anyway, you drive too fast. What if there was a sudden obstacle? You wouldn't be able to avoid it?"

Lucy retracted her head back inside as they continued to bicker. 'Why did I get stuck with these guys?"

Naruto had caught up with the mage from Eisenwald, and was keeping a safe distance so he wasn't noticed. The mage had reached Kunugi Station and had gone inside. Naruto stopped to think.

'That flute... I wonder what it could be. I remember something about a flute... Ah, it probably isn't that anyway.'

As the train left the station, Naruto ran and used wind magic to propel himself on to the top of the train. He smiled slightly. 'I'm skipping out on the train fair. Man, obaa-chan would kill me if she found out. The next station is... Oshibana Station. Are they planning something there?'

Naruto pulled on a little wind and light magic, creating a tiny elemental. "Go to Saki. Tell her that Eisenwald are probably going to make their move at Oshibana Station. Oh, and tell Erza not to wear herself out driving too fast will you?" The little spirit glowed in affirmative and sped off back the way Naruto came.

He laid down on the roof of the train carriage. "Well, might as well get some rest. Who knows what we're gonna be up against?"

Please ask questions, criticise my grammar, my story, my anything. No flames though please! Again, sorry for the shortness, but it was really difficult to think on what I wanted to do. After this arc it becomes a lot easier because I ditch canon quite a lot. Okay! See you when I see you!
