"Summon!"
A magic circle appeared on the floor in front of me, bearing the mark of the class at the center of it. After that, my summoned beast appeared from the circle. He was wearing a school uniform with a red shirt inside, wielding a wooden katana.
Our school, Fumizuki Academy, uses the summoning system to determine our marks. It is said to be the most advanced technology created in Japan. Because of this, it has been said that it is one of the most successful schools to exist. To prove this, the academy has a system which is implemented when students went into their second year. Their class placement is determined by their test scores, which means that idiots are destined to be in Class F, while the most intelligent students get to be in Class A.
To make it feel like test scores are important, the headmistress has made it so that the facilities depend on their class. Class A gets the high-end technology up to date, with a large television screen for teachers to show the learning materials and laptops for all of the students there. On the other hand, Class F gets the broken down items that nobody wants to use, which makes it very unfair for us.
All of the students who are at the bottom rank wouldn't be so happy as to stick with their facilities for the rest of the school year, so another system was included where we can battle with other classes to get their facilities and swap with them.
That's where the summoned beasts came in. Our summoned beast's power depends on our test scores, so it was evident that we need to get higher scores to make them more powerful. However, our earlier battles have proven them wrong, as we, the lowest class, were able to beat every class, except for Class A.
Back to the battle, I had already summoned mine. But when I looked towards Kage-kun's summoned beast, my jaw dropped.
Not only me, but everyone had a surprised look on their faces.
A mini Kage-kun who is wearing clothes like a peasant was standing in front of him. The summoned beast was holding what it looks to be a sword, but with a stone on top of it. It was totally the opposite of what I had on my mind.
And his marks...
Class F Yoshii Akihisa 220 Marks
V.S
Class F Kagerou Shinji 80 Marks
"No way, he's stupider than Aki?"
"Wait a minute; Akihisa isn't the most idiotic person anymore?"
"So there really is someone who is stupider than you, Akihisa. I can't believe that I was wrong all this time..."
Everyone looked at me with a surprised look too. Since I'm not the stupidest student in school anymore, which means...
"Yuuji, hit my summoned beast with everything you've got!"
"Gladly."
After hearing that, Yuuji had a sinister smile on his face as he picked up my summoned beast and slammed it into the floor with all of his might. It resulted in the wooden floors breaking when my summon beast came into contact.
And what happened next was...
"Ow! It hurts!"
Looks like the punishment is still there. Damn it!
I clutched my face in pain as everybody had a face full of pity directed towards me. Yuuji released my summoned beast and then went to my side and patted my back.
"Don't worry, partner. You'll be free from that curse in no time."
"Yuuji..."
While the two of us were having a heart-to-heart talk, Kage-kun made a slight cough to break up the atmosphere between me and Yuuji.
"Are you guys finished yet? Seriously, Aki-kun; I can't believe that you're into boys now."
"T-That's not true!"
"Oh yeah? Hey guys, if you think Aki-kun likes boys then raise your hand."
It was a unanimous decision. Everyone raised their hands, even Himeji-san and Minami who were slightly blushing as they raised theirs. My heart felt like it was pierced by a hundred swords as I fell down on my knees in humiliation.
"See, I told you."
That was the last straw for me. I stood up and pointed my finger towards him with the determination to beat him and get my reward.
"You're going down!"
Tetsujin who was watching what happened went silent for a while before starting the match. Kage-kun's summoned beast moved first by charging forward. Though it was his first time using the summoned beast system, his summoned beast was still faster than most of the guys in class. His summoned beast made the first attack by swinging his broken sword forward in hopes of landing a hit. But my summoned beast dodged that one nicely and swung his wooden sword towards his opponent's head. After that, he managed to land two hits on the opponent's body.

Class F Kagerou Shinji 20marks
"How can you be so fast?!"
Kage-kun was shocked by the fact that he was about to lose. In fact, I had a lot more battle experience so it was hard for me to lose. My face full of pride right now, I laughed haughtily at the thought of winning against him.
"Finally, the score will be settled by this one strike."
"Guh… Guess I have no choice but to call her…"
Kage-kun's words threw everyone's minds into disarray. What did he mean by calling her out?
As we were about to know the truth, he pulled out a feather that was inside his uniform. After tickling his nose for a while, he sneezed, and went unconscious.
However, his summoned beast was still intact.
"Wait a minute, what happened?!"
"I don't know! Did something happen to him?"
Looking at his state, there was no way that he could continue this battle. But, Tetsujin merely stood there, sighing.
"So, she's going for this trick, huh?"
I was surprised. What did Tetsujin meant by a trick? And why did he refer Kage-kun as a she?
"So, is it my turn?"
Suddenly, a voice that everybody hasn't heard of was emitting from Kage-kun. Everyone went silent, as the voice wasn't the usual cool and husky voice from him, but a graceful and beautiful voice of a girl.
"Who was that from?"
"No way, it came from Kagerou-san?"
As Kage-kun slowly stood up, I could sense a different aura coming from him.
It was full of pure, killing intent.
Nobody had expected this to happen after the next few minutes, not even me.
It was carnage…
By the time that happened, I fell unconscious…

"By the way, class. There's another student that transferred here. But due to personal reasons, she would be unable to attend school today."
"A girl? Wow, maybe she is as beautiful as Himeji-san?"
"I don't know. We'll just have to wait till tomorrow then…"
*DING, DONG*
"Sigh, I can't believe I get to meet someone who is very annoying… But, I wonder what will that girl be like?"
*Clack. Clack.*
"Hmm? Is someone there?"
"Umm…"
"Oh, it's a girl. What do you want?"
"… like you…"
"Eh?"
"I like you!"
"Hey, wait! Darn it, she ran away. But, she said that she likes me? I wonder what that could be…"

"Is Kagerou-kun not coming today?"
"I don't know… Maybe Akihisa-kun's idiocy must have scared our prince off!"
"I can't believe this. It's because of you, baka Akihisa!"
"Don't call me a baka!"
"Who else could be a baka except for you? You're the only one who got such low marks in every test."
"I-It's because I haven't studied hard yet! If I worked hard, I could've blown you girls off with my high scores!"
"You wish!"
"What did you say!?"
*Clunk*
"Alright, everyone settle down. Today, Shinji-kun won't be here, but the other transfer student has arrived. Please introduce yourself, Asuka-chan."
"Alright sensei. Hello everyone, my name is Kagerou Asuka. It's nice to meet you."
"Wait a minute, you're the-"
"You're a relative of Kagerou-kun?"
"Ah yes, thank you for taking care of my twin brother."
"Okay, why don't you sit on that seat over there, in front of Akihisa?"
"All right, sensei."
"I can't believe that his sister is going to be in this school too… But she doesn't look all that bad…"
"Let's get along together. Okay, Aki-kun?"

As I slowly woke up from my unconscious state, I couldn't help but feel a soft and warm feeling on my head. Looking around my surroundings, I found myself in the infirmary and was shocked as to what state I was in…
"Ara, are you awake, Aki-kun?"
Kage-kun was unexpectedly giving me a lap pillow. However, there was something different about him that struck me as odd. Black and silky hair, faint make-up and even wearing a female school uniform…
"This is a dream, is it? I'm going back to sleep now."
"You're not dreaming, Aki-kun."
No matter how you look at it, he looks like a genuine female!
"Kage-kun? Why are you dressed like a female?"
"Hmph, I can't believe you forgot about me."
She made a pouting face as she said that. It was really odd, coming from him, but it kind of reminded me of something from the past.
"If you don't remember, why don't I give you a hint?"
As soon as she said that, she lowered her head and gave me a slight peck on the lips.
Which immediately made me jump out from her side in shock and cover my mouth in disbelief.
"I love you, Aki-kun."
"Eh?"
Dumbfounded, I stared at the white ceiling with a feeling that my soul was about to leave my body. But it really did give me a clue what her identity was…
"Kagerou Asuka…?"
Soon after that…
"Punish the heretic!"
""Punish all who disobey the law!""
The FFF stormed through the infirmary door wielding weapons. Wait a minute, isn't this the same from early morning!?
"Wait a second, it was her that…"
"We have no pity for the heretic. What awaits you now is…"
""DEATH!""
"Wait a second; we can talk this out…"
"There's no way to talk this out now, Aki."
Minami and the others then came in, with Himeji-san showing a frown on her face.
"I can't believe Akihisa-kun was…"
"It's a misunderstanding…"
Yuuji then shook his head and smiled.
"Don't worry, Akihisa. At least you have to obey a wish from her."
"Huh? A wish? What are you talking about…"
All the memories then came back to me. Now I remembered…

As soon as Kage-kun, or should I say, Asuka, stood up, she had a puzzled expression on her face.
"Am I in Fumizuki Academy right now?"
"Yep, and you're having a summoning battle with that idiot over there."
"So I'm battling Aki-kun… I can't believe he challenged him, though I know that he mostly would've done so to win against him…"
"By the way, are you still Kagerou Shinji, or have you changed to a completely different person?"
Everyone was amazed at what Yuuji said. But Asuka just chuckled.
"Wow, you're really smart. You're absolutely correct; my name is Kagerou Asuka. You can call Shinji as my other self."
"So you have multiple personalities…"
"Wait, what…"
"Judging from the questions, you're the class representative, right?"
"Well, at least you're smarter than your other self. The name's Sakamoto Yuuji."
I can't believe that Yuuji took the fact that easily, while I was still puzzled on what was happening…
"Who else is in this class? Let me see…"
As she looked at our classmates one by one, the boys from the FFF were looking at her with eyes like hungry wolves. When she looked at Himeji-san though…
"Why is she here?"
There was displeased tone in her words, and her face showed disgust when she saw Himeji-san. But after a while, she returned to her normal self and turned her attention towards me.
"Well then, Aki-kun; what did my brother bet on this time?"
"If you win the summoning battle, Akihisa will grant you one wish."
Yuuji then answered her questions. Her face lit up as soon as she heard the term 'wish'.
"So, I can tell Aki-kun what to do right?"
Asuka-san's face then turned into a creepy smile, which was giving me the creeps. There was no way she could win me right? Her score now is almost close to zero. No matter what happens…
"I'll say this to you, Yoshii-kun. You're naïve!"
Tetsujin roared at me, looking at how low my awareness was. If he would go such a long way to scold me, then that means…
"He's right, Aki-kun. You shouldn't underestimate your opponent."
As soon as she said that, the summoned beast that was supposedly Kage-kun's shone in a bright white light. After wards, another one appeared in his place.
But, it was a totally different one. The summoned beast was wearing a king's outfit, compared to the rags worn before. There was also a big, shiny crown on top of her head. Moreover, the sword that was broken and had a stone on its tip was now replaced with a shiny golden sword with wordings on its blade.
Not only was the appearance shocking, but the marks…

Class F Kagerou Asuka 796 points
"No way, you're kidding me, right…"
"Her marks are the highest in the class!?"
"Not only that, it surpassed Shouko's and Himeji's marks by a huge margin..."
It was true. As of now, Himeji-san's marks could only go as far as 670 marks. Kirishima-san should have the same marks as her. Looking at the marks now made it look like the summoned beast was a mad monster.
Even my whole body was tingling at the suspense. Who knows what would happen if I get hit with one of those…
"Well then Aki-kun…"
Slowly looking towards Asuka, she was still smiling on her face. Though, the smile she was making was still creepy in a way that makes you want to run away.
My body froze at the sight of her. Even my brain wasn't functioning properly. I couldn't do anything while that summoned beast was active.
"If you're wondering why you're not moving, it's because of one of my summoned beast's abilities."
"No way, there's an ability like that!?"
Looks like I'm going to die…
"Now…"
Asuka then raised her hand and made the frightening voice ever heard while making a death sign.
"Die."
Afterwards, her summoned beast glowed red eyes and unleashed a wave from her sword. My summoned beast tried to dodge it, but it was futile as the wave was following him around like a homing missile.
Knowing that I couldn't avoid the blow, I simply let my summoned beast stand there and prayed.
"Please, God, just let me live…"
As the wave struck my summoned beast, I received a wound that was almost fatal till it made me unconscious…

"So, are you feeling better now, Aki-kun?"
And we're back to when the FFF were trying to kill me.
"Can't you read the mood, Asuka…?"
"Yes?"
She just made a puzzled expression, as if she didn't care what happens to me afterwards. I swallowed my saliva as I prepared for the worst…
"I can't believe this is happening to me!"
