Hiya guys I'm back! I know where the hell have I been for the past year. Well all I can tell you is school is a bitch. Anywway I apologize for not posting. So here ya go with Doctor Who.
Night's Pov.
I dried my hair as we walked back into the TARDIS.
"So you're tellin' me you've been stuck on Earth for 500 years?" The Doctor asked changing back into his suit.
"Yes. And I've been stuck on your TARDIS for the past 300 years. Wanna take a gander at my age?" I asked as I opened one of floor boards and brought out a medium sized chest.
"Well that's around 700 so I say 750? 775 at most." he said putting his overcoat on and adjusting it.
"Ohh. Close, a little older." I say going through all the clothes. He pondered looking in my eyes.
"807." he said looking at me with mixed emotions; happy, doubt, and curiosity. Although the look was a bit irritating, and I knew what he was thinking, I ignored his gaze and stood up with my clothes folded over my arm.
"Nice job. But I kind of have to change." he looked at me with a raised eyebrow. I just waited for it to hit him.
"OH! You want me to look away. All right, all right. I'll turn 'round." he did so and I started changing while humming a song I've heard.
Doctor's Pov.
I turned 'round so she could change but I couldn't help but think about her, question her origin and existence. I've searched for the past 700 years for survivors, and found no one. And here she is, on my TARDIS for 300 years. It's impossible.
"No, juss highly unlikely." She said. I turned 'round to find a grey shirt with that has the 'Timey Wimey' quote on it, with black leather pants, and blue trainers.
"Nice Shoes." I said looking at her attire.
"Thanks it was either this or a tailored suit I took a while back." She said, putting on a white leather jacket.
"You've got one hell of fetish, don't you?" I asked referring to all the leather she was wearing.
"Oh the leather? I'm just in that kind of mood. and I prefer extreme liking, thank you." She sat down in my driver chair… that I rarely sit in.
"So where do you wanna go now?" She asked looking at me.
"How do you feel about cats?" I asked smiling. She smiled back and started flipping switches. I ran over to join her by pulling levers and pressing buttons.
Night's Pov.
He asked how I felt about cats so now we're on our way to a planet with cats, I'm guessing. The TARDIS started shaking, like it usually does, but then it started turning upside down, unnaturally.
"Doctor! What's happening?!" I screamed while hanging on for dear life.
"The TARDIS is taking us somewhere, or someone's bringing us to them. But how is that? All the defences are on high so the only other option, the TARDIS is taking us somewhere. So what could be happening that's so bad, the TARDIS believes we should be there?" He wobbled over to the screen to read where the hell we're going.
"What does it say Doctor?" I asked trying to get closer, but making no such progress.
"it says Earth year 2010. Well that can't be right. Nothing's happening." He said as we came to a crash landing.
"Oww!" I said rubbing my back. "Did it tell you the pinpoint location?" I asked pulling myself off the TARDIS floor and dusting myself off. The Doctor reached the door slightly before me. He opened the door slowly and stuck his head out no faster. I looked out the door with him too see a normal city, with humans, buildings, and regular animals. No spaceships, no aliens, no people screaming in terror. Just a normal city. I mean it's no where in North America or Australia, so we must be in Europe.
"Cardiff. We're in Cardiff," he said with as much idea as myself," but what are we doing here?" The doctor asked more to himself than to me. he stepped out and I followed. The Doctor looked around mumbling random questions to himself. He checked the TARDIS on the outside while I looked around. I looked to the south to see a man dressed like he was in World War II running towards us.
"Uh...Doctor?" I said not looking away but simply turning my head slightly.
"Not now I'm busy." he said waving me off.
"Doctor!" I said a little louder. He stilled paid me no attention he didn't even look up. Well he didn't when I called him but as the man got closer he screamed.
"Dooooctooooorrr!" The doctor looked up with state of shock. The doctor grabbed my hand and pulled me inside the TARDIS. The man continued to run and yell.
"DOOCTOORR!" The doctor started to close the door but the man was too close. He ran and jumped inside before the doctor could close the door entirely.
"Hello *Pant *Pant Doctor." The man said trying to catch his breath. I bent down to help him.
"Are you okay?" I asked putting my hand on his forehead. The doctor just stood against a piece of coral with his arms crossed, glaring at the man.
"Yes I'm fin-." He started talking but stopped when he looked at me. My guess is that his vision blurred after the jump and it has now cleared up.
"Yes I'm fine, but obviously so are you. Captain Jack Harkness, and you are?" He said looking me in the eyes. I was about to answer but the Doctor pulled me up and stood in front of me.
"Off limits, Jack." The Doctor said and glaring at Captain Jack. I looked at the Doctor with a glare and put my hand on my hips.
"Doctor!" he cringed," Don't act like that! He's hurt we have to help him." I said waving my finger at him like he was a toddler who ate a cookie before dinner, tho I told him no.
"Look at him. He's fine look!" He said throwing his hands toward the Captain, who was now dusting himself off and perfectly fine.
"Still that's not the point. Captain Jack needed help and you wouldn't let me just because he's a intergalactic, time-traveling pervert. No offense Captain." I said my arms no crossed over my chest.
"None taken, and please call me Jack. It's easier to-" He was cut off by the doctor.
"You finish that sentence and I will be dropping you off in the next exploding star. Got it?" The Doctor said pointing to Jack with a threatening gaze.
"Don't you talk to him like that! He is a guest on your TARDIS...treat him like one." I said grabbing his tie and pulling him closer, to show how serious I was.
"Fine. But he is not a guest, he is a mistake." The Doctor said folding his arms.
"He is not a mistake, he is a fixed point in time that you can not change, no matter how much you wish you could." I said looking at the Doctor with the most serious of faces. The Doctor looks at me with a surprised expression. "Now I suggest you apologize to Jack, or I will be dropping you off into the nearest dwarf star."
"I'm sorry Jack. Now what's gotten into you? You've been with me for 2 hours. And you're already yelling at me." The doctor said walking to the chair and sitting down.
"I'm sorry it's just I wasn't happy with the way you were treating Jack. It wasn't nice." I said standing next to him. He looked between Jack and I a few times.
"I don't mind really he's been doin' it for a while now I'm use to it." Jack said putting a hand on my shoulder to cheer me up.
"I know, but still." I said shrugging and crossing my arms.
"See now evr-. Wait you know how do you know he said you've only been with him for 2 hours?" He said looking confused.
"I have been with him for 2 hours, but I've been here for 300 years now. Here, being the TARDIS." I said as if it was nothing. Jack looked even more confused.
"Wait how old are you?" Jack said looking me over constantly. I was about to answer but someone beat me to it.
"807 years old, why?" I said turning to Jack. He looked like he was trying to put it together.
"Whoa Whoa Whoa. Are you a…" He didn't finish but pointed to the Doctor, suggesting that I was the same thing he was. The Doctor and I looked at each other, then back at Jack and nodded. Jack back away in surprise I caught his hand before he could trip on a cord.
"Whoa! Careful you almost tripped on the Time Rotor Cord. Speaking of which what is it doing here?" I said looking at it.
"It's suppose to be there. Don't you know that?" The doctor said standing up and grabbing my shoulders and making me face him. I grabbed my head because it started to spin.
"Ye-. No it's not. Wait, yes it is. I have no idea. My head is spinning." I grabbed the Doctor's arm to stable myself.
"What does TARDIS stand for?" he asked being serious. I thought about it.
"Time And Relative… I don't know. It's there, I know it is but I can't get it out. Doctor what's happening? Why can't I remember?" I said my head was hurting. I couldn't think about anything that a normal Time Lord knows about in Middle School.
"Okay. Jack get her and follow me." The Doctor instructed. Jack picked me up bridal style and followed the Doctor through a series of hallways, past many, many doors. "In here." The Doctor said while opening a door. Jack went inside and looked around the room, I was going to say something but I couldn't. So I let my eyelids fall and I was soon covered by unconsciousness.
No One's Pov.
Jack looked around the pure white room that looked like a doctor's office.
"Set her there." the Doctor told Captain Jack. He did as he was told while the Doctor was hooking things up and turning things on.
"Are you gonna run tests on her Doctor?" Jack said leaning against the door. The Doctor nodded his head and started putting things into the unconscious girl. He soniced the screen with his sonic screwdriver until 3 lines appeared. 2 lines were her heart rate and and other was her brain rate. The first 2 were fine completely normal. but the third one was a little weird.
"That's not right, hers should be faster than that." The Doctor said grabbing Jack's attention.
"What is it Doctor?" Jack said getting off the door and walking over to the girl on the bed.
"Her brain rate is a little slower than it should be. To fast for a human but too slow for a Time Lord." The Doctor scanned her with his screwdriver and plugged it into the monitor. He waited a while, than papers started to print from the bottom. He took the papers and started to read through them. "Oh well isn't this something."
"What? What is it?" Jack said standing straight up, off the door.
"Since she's been a human for so long, she's used to her brain thinking like that. She's only been able to pick up things I've been saying. Her brain hasn't completely changed back. A Time Lord's brain has to be exercised daily otherwise it doesn't function correctly. So the sudden burst of knowledge wasn't able to get through because her brain isn't functioning right. So all she has to do is learn some things and all her knowledge should bleed through." The Doctor said turning to face Jack, only to find him asleep on the door. The Doctor ignored him and sat down next to Night.
"There's something weird about you and I'll find out what is. But for now get some rest and we'll start back up in the morning." The Doctor said looking at the mysterious girl and nodding off himself.
