This Village, he'd returned to it many times to recover and wait. It was where terrible terrible, and wonderful things happend, it was the start and end to many stories, most of which were his own. yes, this was his home now

He fell asleep thinking of her. As he always at his shoulder.

He walked into the clearing where the Bone Eater's Well stood, and against it sat his bother. Sesshoumaru frowned, no sensible man, or beast would be out in these downpours.

Yet here he was, InuYasha, sleeping, like an abandoned pup, waiting for a girl who would not return.

He approached him, in order to put an end to this foolishness. Grudgingly he accepted accepted that he cared.

Sesshoumaru kicked his brother's foot with his boot. The hanyõ stirred.

He looked down at his brother unyielding. His questioning gaze wasn't a mere inquiry, but a demand to answer.

"Waitng for a dead woman, InuYasha?" Kagome vanished into the void, he assumed her dead. InuYasha returning without her didn't escape his notice.

He flinched, "She's safe." InuYasha growled, clawing at the muddied ground beneath his feet.
