Part Three
The wizard opened his mouth.
"Dark magic," the wizard said. Blood streamed down his back. The old man grabbed the hilt of the knife, and it started glowing white. After a second, it vanished, and there was no wound in its place.
"dark magic is not enough to kill a white wizard."
Gandalf turned around.
"Hobbits! Go inside of the house of Bilbo and Frodo Baggins! There is an enemy here!" The hobbits gasped, but ran back without question. Purple clouds swirled in front of Gandalf the White, and it formed a cloaked man who held a long silver sword in his hand.
"What is it that you wish to do in The Shire?" Gandalf said, almost yelling.
The cloaked man didn't answer, but he stepped forward. He took another step...and another, until he was about a foot in front of Gandalf. He raised his sword.
Gandalf didn't do anything. He stayed frozen in time. The sword came down.
Suddenly, there was flash in the air, and the cloaked man fell to the ground. Harry looked at him, and saw that there was an arrow strait in his heart. A man came walking down. He had long blond hair and shockingly, pointed ears! Gandalf chuckled,
"Ah, Legolas! The Elven King!"
Legolas smiled,
"Nice to see you, Gandalf the White." The man-Legolas-bowed.
All of the other wizards were stunned.
"And who are these...humans?" Legolas asked.
"Actually, we are not humans, we are wizards." Hermione said. Gandalf looked at them curiously,
"Indeed you are...I can sense magic running with your blood. You are not from here, are you?"
"No, sir." Harry said.
Gandalf shook his head.
"It cannot be."
"What is it?" Legolas asked.
"This is the last year that humans will live with magical beings like us. This is the year that hobbits, elves, and dwarves go extinct! Legolas, this is the year that the prophecy will be fulfilled!"
