Hey guys, sorry for the mix-up on The City Watcher. I was trying to fix some grammar mistakes and I accidentally put chapter four on chapter three and I delete the file. So I am creating a new chapter for it.

Chapter 3: A Mischief Gone Bad.

Gumball and his siblings were walking to the bus stop. A few minutes later, they arrived. As they were waiting for the bus, Anais asked her eldest brother "So what did mom wanted to tell you?"

Gumball stop blushing for a bit and answered "She reminds me of last night advise of me not getting any more mischief. Not only that, she's kept pushing me to go to a school club."

Darwin spoken "You know, I kinda agree on mom on it. You do need to school club, Gumball. You can't keep coming home everyday after school and playing video games all day."

"I don't play video games all the time. I watch t.v or read comic book." Corrected the young blue cat.

Anais said to her older brother "You really need to find a club, Gumball."

Gumball shot a glare at her before saying "You too, sis?"

Darwin smiled "She's right; I have been going to my Swimming Club everyday."

Anais added "Not to mention, the Science Club."

Gumball scoffed "If you two love you clubs so much, why don't you married them?"

Darwin gasped "You know I can't do that! What would Rachel might think if I done that?!"

Gumball try to correct him with his finger up, but sighed in defeat "Never mind." He went back to the topic of finding a club. "Look, like I told mom just now, I have been trying to find a school club, but there's nothing good for me."

"Why don't you just use the list of clubs that are written in the paper that I have developed for you?"

"I did," Answered Gumball. "but there isn't really any clubs for me. I mean, I know they sound...okay, but it's not what I am looking for."

Darwin asked "What's wrong with the Computers Club, the Wrestling Club or even, the Video Games Club?"

"They sounded pretty awesome, but somehow, I wasn't feeling it, ya know. Not to mention, some of the clubs I have been trying to go rejected me like always."

"Wow, sorry man."

"I just want to find a club that seems suitable for me. A club that I can relate to. A club that could one day chance, I don't know, this city." Gumball said hope in his tone.

Darwin's eyes turn to stars in admiration. "Sounds cool."

Anais rolled her eyes at them before saying "Oh, come on. Do you really think there's a club like that? There can't never be a club and it will never will."

Both of the brothers were shot from their fantasies and Gumball hung his head in shame. He said in a depression tone "Why do you shot my beliefs, sis?"

Anais rolled her eyes again as the bus have came. Rocky the driver open the door for the gang to let them inside the vehicle before driving. They have sit in their usual spots; Gumball with Penny, Darwin with Rachel and Anais with Carrie, who was listening to her headphones.

Penny give her boyfriend a short kiss on the cheek and said "Hi Gumball. How are you doing?"

Gumball smiled "I'am good."

"So what you do last night?"

"Ah, you know, the same thing over and over again; I watch t.v., play video games, read comic books, eat dinner with my family and straight to bed."

Anais, manage to hear from the conversation right next to them, added "Except he just got scolded last night from mom."

Penny asked "Why? What happened?"

"Gumball put thumbtacks on Tina Rex's sit yesterday."

Penny gasped in shock before turning to her boyfriend "You did?"

Gumball answered in defeat "Yeah, but in my defense, she trip me. Also, wait to keep it a secret, sis."

Penny said "Gumball, you shouldn't have done that."

"Relax, Penny. I promise my mom that I won't cause anymore mischief."

Anais scoffed "Oh please, you can't even kept a promise. Remember you promise that you won't eat candy for a month."

"And I did."

"No." Continued the young pink rabbit. "At the last day of the month, you ate all of the candy in the house, including mine and Darwin's candies."

"Well, you should have put all of the candies in a secret stash in the bottom of the cabinet. Anyway, that was a few months ago. This time, I am not going to break my promise. Scouts honor." Gumball ended his sentence with his a salute.

Then he got hit in the head with some dark brown stuff.

Gumball turns around and sees Tina Rex, Jamie and Anton all laughing their heads up at the young blue cat. Soon, some of the kids saw it and started laughing as well. Standing up from his seat, Gumball growled and wanted to give them a piece of his mind, but stop when he remember what he was about to.

Didn't want to cause another mischief, Gumball took deep breaths for a couple of seconds before sitting back down.

Penny asked in concern "Gumball, are you all right?"

Gumball said with a hint of anger "Yup. Just fine, Penny. Everything is just fine."

Anais look at the brown stuff that was still at the top of Gumball's head and said with concern "I hope that's chocolate."

Gumball look at the mess that was dripping from it and took his paw to grab a piece of it. He didn't know that it was chocolate or…that other thing Looking at it, Gumball ate it, despite the disgusted looks from both his girlfriend and sister.

Gumball concluded "It's a chocolate brownie." Gumball's girlfriend and sister both sighed in relieved.

The young blue cat look at the bullies and gloated "Ha, ha! You can harass me all you want, but I got a snack!"

The bullies were staring at him with anger in their faces. Gumball then grab a second piece, and right before eating it, he turn to his sister and asked "You want some?"

Anais shake her head in a 'no.'

"How about you, Penny?" Gumball turn his attention to his girlfriend, who answer in the same way as Anais.

"More for me then." Gumball continues eating the brownie until they reaches Elmore Junior High.

The bus have arrive to school a few minutes later; the entire students have left the bus and enter the building. Gumball, followed by Darwin and Penny, exclaimed with chocolate smears on his mouth "Man, oh man, that was delicious!"

Darwin said right behind him "You still got some chocolate on your month."

Gumball then whips off the smears as he walk to his seat. Miss Simian came in with a howler, startling the entire class.

Before Miss Simian could speak, the last students to enter the room were Tina, Jamie and Anton. She replied sarcastically "So nice of you to join us at the last minute. Now sit down!"

The three of them made their way to their seats, but not before shooting a glare at the young blue cat.

Miss Simian begin "Not before I get on with the class; I have an important announcement to make. Today, we will be having a Pep Rally to honor our team to fight the Hawks at tonight Championship game. So after this class, I want everyone to report to the gym immediately."

The entire class cheered with hoots and claps from the above; the only ones who weren't cheering were the three bullies that despite Gumball.

Jamie asked Tina "So you're planning on kicking Watterson's ass right before the Pep Rally?"

Tina answered with an evil grin "Of course. That punk deserve to pay for what he did to my ass. It took six hours to get all those damn tracks off of me."

"And we help getting rid of it." Added Jamie.

Anton whisper to the T-Rex "Kick his ass, Tina. Kick his ass for what he did to you! And me! He ate my snack!"

Tina whisper angrily at the toast "Would you forget about your stupid snack, Anton! Beside..." He glared at the young blue cat, who was getting board from another one of Miss Simian's lessons. "This is my battle with him." He then took a paper and wrote something down before throwing it at Gumball's desk.

Gumball's eyes pick up on the small note right in front of him. Gumball open the note very quietly and peak at it.

Gumball,

As soon as the bell ring for Pep Rally, I would be coming for you. Once I am done with you, you won't have any arms, legs, , spleen or even head.

Tina Rex.

Gumball quickly turn around and saw Tina Rex's evil grin at him, revealing her very very sharp teeths. Jamie and Anton chuckled evilly.

Gumball's entire body to white; he really wanted to stop this. However, his promise of his mother's words to him was starting to get to him. Instead of coming up with a plan, he prayed under his mouth "I would not cause a mischief, I would not cause a mischief, I would not cause a mischief…"

As the bell ringed, ending the class, the entire classmates have left the room and go to the gymnasium. Gumball was the last one to leave since he didn't want Tina or her cronies to see him. He put the note inside his pocket and meet up with Darwin, Anais and Penny as he walked to the gym.

Gumball greeted "Hey guys."

Darwin greeted back "Hey Gumball. So what's up back in the classroom?"

"Huh? What do you mean?"

Penny explained "Me and Darwin saw you praying and muttering something that we couldn't hear. Also, of that note Tina have pass."

Anais quickly put her hands on Gumball's pocket and took out the note. She show it to everyone before asking "This note right here?"

Gumball extended his hand to give the note back. "Come on, sis, give it back."

Darwin manage to swipe the note from the young pink bunny and he and Penny read the note. Darwin became wide eyed before saying "Whoa. Sounds like Tina wants payback."

Gumball said with both of his hands up "Don't worry, Darwin. I am not going to fight her."

"You sure? Cause the note here is pretty serious. You should do something about it."

Anais quickly objected "No! Gumball, remember what mom said; don't cause anymore mischief. You promise!"

Gumball growled "I know, I know!"

Penny declared "Listen, I have got to go now. Make sure you guys get here, especially you, Gumball. I have a surprise for you."

Gumball smiled at her "Penny, it's me. Don't worry, I'll be there."

She then give him a kiss on the cheek before replying "I know you would. See ya guys later." She made her way to the gymnasium. The Watterson siblings wave at her before departing to the gym.

Once they have arrived, they were about to enter, until Gumball declared "Guys, I need to use the bathroom. All of a sudden, my stomach is acting up."

Anais muttered "Probably from the brownies from the bus."

"I'll catch up with you guys eventually."

"Alright, just hurry up now. The Pep Rally is about to begin and make sure you don't run in to Tina."

Gumball annoyingly said, getting tire of that "Relax, sis, I won't."

After a few minutes in the stall, Gumball got out before declaring "They should probably put up a sign that said 'Wait for thirty minutes before using stall." Gumball watches his hands on the sink before stepping out of the bathroom.

He was about to make his way to the gym until a dark and deep familiar voice spoke.

"Hello Gumball."

Gumball stop and turn to face Tina Rex, who starting at the cat with an evil grin in her face.

"Did you get my note?" Asked the sadistic bully.

"Yes." Answered Gumball. "And as much as I like to stop you, I can't. Now if you excuse me, I have a Pep Fest to go to in case you didn't know."

Gumball walked, but was stopped by the T-Rex herself. She grinned more sinisterly "Well, I guess destroying you will make things very easier in case you didn't know."

She swing her tail at the cat, making him thrown to a row of lockers. Gumball was at the ground as he sees the bully walk up to him.

Enough of this, Gumball got up and declared "All right, that's it, you overgrown lizard…" He position himself to a fighting stance. "Let's dance!"

Meanwhile, at the Pep Rally, the crowd were cheering loudly and clapping at the cheerleaders performing their incredible stutts. The band squad were playing loud music that didn't compare to the crowd's cheer.

Once the cheer did a finally move, which includes forming a pyramid, the band immediately stopped and the crowd cheered even more.

Principal Brown step up to the stand with a microphone on and spoke through it "Thank you, ladies for that fabulous performance. Welcome everyone to our Pep Rally. Today is an important day for our team because tonight they'll be facing off with the Hawks for the champinsion! Our team has been building up for this moment, after ten loses and seven wins, the team are now at the State Championship. We wish them good luck for them. Let's give them another round of applause!"

The entire crowd resume cheering loudly again. Principal Brown said to his microphone "Now before we resume our show, our head cheerleader Penny wants to make a quick announcement."

Brown have given the mic to Penny before going back to his seat with the other facility.

As she did, the rest of the cheerleaders were right behind her. One of the cheerleaders, Masami, did a facepalm before saying "Oh god, she's going to talk about her boyfriend again."

Teri said to her "Oh, come on. Can you at least be happy for her?"

"Why should I? He's the most obnoxious and annoying cat in the world."

Penny smiled "Thank you, Principal Brown." She turn her attention to the rest of the crowd. "I would like to give out a shout out for a very special person. Gumball Watterson, stand up and take a bow."

From up top of here, the spotlight was shine to the Watterson siblings; however, it was shining on an empty seat between Darwin and Anais.

Penny called out "Gumball? Gumball, where are you?"

As the crowd grew into mutter and were looking at the siblings, Anais whispered "Darwin, where is Gumball?"

Darwin whisper back "I don't know."

All of a sudden, the entire room began to slightly shake like a mini earthquake. The shake follows by a growing noise that scare everyone.

Principal Brown muttered "What in God's name is that?"

His question was soon answered when the wall of the gym was suddenly smash, resulting the entire crowd to stand up on their feets. Gumball and Tina Rex were fighting each other. Gumball was at her face as he scratches it, resulting her roar in pain. Tina was losing control of her feet right before she lands her face on the hard floor.

Gumball stands on top of her wounded face and yelled "YEAH! HOW DO YOU LIKE ME NOW?!"

His moment of victory was short when he sees all of the crowd's shocking expression and a fuming fury principal

"Oh, crap."

Moments later, Principal Brown have call in Gumball's parents and Tina's father over what happen at the gym. Right now, there was Gumball, Darwin, Anais, Penny, Tina, Tina's father and Gumball's parents. Brown have explain the innocent at the gym, resulting Gumball defeating the bully. He even put the blame at Gumball, thinking that he started the fight.

Gumball shouted "But-But it wasn't my fault! Tina started it!"

Principal Brown scolded "And you decided to have you and Miss Rex to smash into the gym's wall! Do you have any idea how much it's going to take to repair it?! $350!"

Nicole's eyes widen by the amount of money before glaring at the young blue cat "Gumball, when you left, you promise me you weren't going to cause anymore mischief!"

"I didn't want to do it at first, but Tina was threading me!" Screamed Gumball.

Anais asked "So what happens now?"

Principal Brown narrowed his eyes before declaring "I afraid that they are suspended for a week."

Gumball shouted in shock "What?! You can't do that!"

Nicole scolded at her son "Gumball, he's the principal; he can suspend whenever he wants. And none of this would have happen if you just listen to me."

"Well, at least I can go to the Championship game."

Principal Brown added "Ah, yes, about the game. I afraid we have to cancel the game."

The students, minus Tina, shouted "What?!"

Penny asked "But why?"

Principal Brown continued "Thanks to your friend here…." He pointed at Gumball. "we have to save enough money to fix the wall and we're going to have to take it out of the championship funds."

Gumball's mouth hung in silence and pleaded "No. No, please. Principal Brown, the school has been waiting for this. You can't cancel the game."

"Maybe you shouldn't thought of that when you started that fight."

Gumball didn't know what to say; all around the room he could feel the people that he loved and cared are glaring at him in anger.

Once Brown have ordered everyone to leave, Tina have left with his father, leaving Gumball to be left with his family, friend and girlfriend all glaring at him.

Gumball pleaded "Guys, I-I-"

Darwin angrily interrupted "Save it, Gumball."

Anais scolded "Yeah, we don't want to hear it."

Their words hurt Gumball direly right in the heart; he then turn his head to his girlfriend who wasn't glaring at him. She was staring at him with sadness on her face.

Gumball try to find the right words to her. "Penny...I….I didn't…."

Penny sadly replied "Not now, Gumball." She then walk away from him without even looking at him.

Gumball's world was starting to fall apart; his face was becoming sadness.

Nicole snap out of him in a scolded tone "Gumball, we're going home."

The entire family started to walk, leaving Gumball to follow them as small tears were forming from both of his eyes.

Unknown to them, they were being watched from a certain black panther.
