Chapter 2: Meetings and Planning
A/N: Sorry it took so long. I have very bad depression and it act up from time to time. And also I just finished moving. So it's going to take a while for me to update again. Also I don't own Naruto or any of characters.
In Naruto's mind
"So Kurami, before we start, why do you appear to be the same age as I am?" Kurami started looking at him as if he should know. "Oh that's right. You wouldn't know would you?" Naruto then looked at her with a pissed off expression. "Oh sorry Naruto. I'll tell you why. It's pretty simple. I basically take on the age of my host and age accordingly. It's a bitch and I don't know why it happens. But it happens and I accept it." Naruto then looked at her with wonder. 'That brings another question to mind but I can ask later.' he thought. "O.k then. So what do you have in mind for our revenge?" "Oh right. Well I would tell you here and now, but I can tell you later." Naruto looked disappointed. "Why wait?" "Well you have to wake up first." Naruto looked confused. "What do wake up. Aren't I already awake, conversing to you?" Kurami then giggled. "No silly. You're still in your mindscape." "Huh. So how do I leave?" he asked. "That should be easy to figure out. Just imangine youself waking up." Naruto then slapped himself on the head for not figuring it out himself. "OF COURSE!" He yelled. "Well if it's that easy, I'll be going." Kurami smiled. "Seeya later Naruto." Naruto then vanished leaving Kurami by herself. 'If only you knew how fun this is going to be for me and how painful it's going to be for you.' Kurami thought to herself.
In the real world
Naruto woke up in the alley he was in before he passed out. 'So no one decided to help me while I was out? Not surprising.' He thought to himself. "Of course not. It's how they are." Naruto recognized the voice and looked around. "Kurami are you out here too?" "Of course not. I'm just talking to you through our mind link." Naruto looked befuddled. "What's a mind link?" Kurami shook her head. 'Of course he wouldn't know. He's only 7.' She thought to herself. "Naruto a mind link is a... as a matter of fact I'm going to let you figure it out. Just think of the words 'Mind' and 'Link' and hopefully you'll get it." She said irritably. Naruto pondered on this and it hit him like a ton of bricks. "OF COURSE." He yelled out loud. Kurami cringed in his mind. "Naruto, don't yell out loud like that again if you're talking to me because people will start getting suspicious. When I'm talking to you, just think what you want to say." Naruto quickly covered his mouth. 'Oh sorry Kurami.' He said. "It's alright. You didn't know, so you get a pass. But if you do it again, something bad will happen to you." She said with an evil smile. Naruto starts sweating bullets. 'W-what do you mean Kurami?' "Oh nothing you need to know as long as keep quiet when talking to me. Now go home and go to sleep. We have a lot to do tomorrow." Naruto quickly collected himself. 'Right. So when are you going to tell me about our plan?' He asked not forgetting why he was in the alleyway in the first place. "I'll tell you about it tomorrow when you wake up. Now go before people start coming here to try to finish you off. As if that could happen." Kurami said keeping the last part to herself to see if Naruto remembered. 'Oh shit you're right. Alright then I'm off.' Naruto then walked of to his home.
In Front of Naruto's Apartment
"Huh? Who the heck are you supposed to be?" Naruto asked as if he could care less. Leaning on Naruto's door was a man about 5'9" probably 18 years of age. His hair was the same as Naruto except his hair was brown. His skin was dark. (Don't start with the assumptions. He's black alright?) His eyes were brown as well. He was wearing a black hoodie with black pants with a kunai holster on his right leg. He was also wearing black sandals. His headband, which sported the leaf village symbol, proving he's a ninja, was tied around his neck pretty loosely. Even the Cloth itself was black. "Huh?" he asked in a bored tone. "I asked who you were." The man then proceeded to get off Naruto's door and walk towards him. "Naruto be careful. Something tells me this guy could wipe you out without even blinking." Kurami warned him. Now Naruto was truly becoming afraid. Naruto started to tremble and started backing up and was going to run. Seeing this, the man grabbed Naruto and threw him on the ground. He then got in Naruto's face and said "I'm sorry. What did you say?" Now Naruto was definentaly afraid of this guy. He wanted to tell yell but his voice was caught in his throat. "I asked you a question. What did you say?!" He asked a bit more forcefully. This apparenlty got Naruto to speak. "I-I asked w-w-what your n-name w-w-w-was?" Naruto studdered out. As soon as Naruto said that, the man slowly backed up. "See was that so hard? All you had to do was ask politely. But first you should tell me your name since you wanted to know mine so badly." the man said. Naruto, still shaken, got up slowly as if expecting someone to hurt him. "Ummm..." Naruto droned on. The man sweatdropped. 'Not a good sign' "Look kid just calm down and tell me your name. I'm not going to hurt you, unless you provoke me first." Hearing this Naruto took a deep breath, sighed, and quickly said " 'syours?" The man once again sweatdropped at Naruto. "Kid slow down. I did not understand a word you just said. Say it again, just a little more slowly." Once again Naruto took a deep breath and exhaled. "My name is Naruto Uzumaki. What's yours?" He said calmly.
"That's good to know. But why are so afraid of me?" Naruto looked at the man as if he were stupid. "Well for one you pushed me down and got in my face when I asked who you were." 'Of course that would be the reason.' "Look I'm sorry. I really get edgy when people don't speak the way I want them to. Or should I say what did mean 'For one'?" Naruto started to sweat at this. 'Kurami. Should I tell him what you said?' "It doesn't matter to me. Everyone will find out so why not tell him?" 'Alright. If you say so.' "The other reason is Kurami told me that you could wipe me out without blinking. So can you tell me your name now?" 'So I was right.' "Alright but you have to promise me that you'll tell who this Kurami is after I tell you, o.k?" "Alright that's fair I guess." "O.k. My name is Masaya. Now tell me who Kurami is." Naruto looked at Masaya straight in the eyes. Naruto then started thinking. 'What's there to be afraid of? It's not like he's going to survive what I got planned for this world. But Kurami did say be careful around this guy. But I promised him I would tell him so here goes.' At this point, Masaya is wondering what's taking so long.
Just as Masaya was going snap Naruto out of his thoughts, Naruto spoke up. "Alright. But before I tell you, do you know about the 9 tailed fox?" 'Yep. Definetley right.' "Well duh. Who doesn't?" Naruto nodded. "So you should already know who I am right?" 'Well duh. I know who you are. I just like playing the part of an idiot. Much like yourself.' "Oh right. Your HIM. Now I see why people think what they think." Masaya said sarcastically. Masya then raised his hand in the air. Naruto closed his eyes expecting a beating, but it never came. Instead he felt a hand petting him on the head. "Oh man. If that's not embarrassing, I don't know what is." Kurami laughed. "You are so lucky to meet someone who doesn't see you as me." Naruto quickly opened one of his eyes and looked at Masaya in disbelief. "W-what are you doing?" Naruto said as he swatted Masaya's hand away. 'Huh, so this kid has a problem with people touching him. Not surprising knowing how he grew up.' "I'm giving you a pat on the head. What does it look like I'm doing?" "Don't do that again." Naruto said with anger in his voice. Masaya just stood there with a look of understaniding on his face. "Don't worry kid, it's not going to happen again. But I need to tell you something important." 'I wasted so much time. This isn't good.' "O.k then. What did you want to tell me?" Naruto asked. "I came to say that you will find something that will shape your destiny." 'Let me hope he does find it. Otherwise I'm so screwed.' Naruto then looked at the man with intrest. "What is it?" he asked excitedly, "Is it some type of sword or something?" "It's classified information," Masaya said, "But I was just told to tell you that you will find it." Naruto then looked at him, confused. "Well can you give me a hint on where to find it?" he asked. "Yeah," Masaya said as he picked his ear, "the hint is don't go looking for it." Naruto then fell face-first into the concrete of the hallway. "I swear. This guy may give off an incredible aura of power but he acts so dumb. But if what he talking about is what I think he's talking about, then he's right Naruto." 'Not you too Kurami.' Naruto whined. Naruto then got up and dusted off his clothes. "But seriously Naruto," Masaya said sternly, "There are people who care for you." Naruto rolled his eyes. "Yeah right. If that's true, then why didn't anyone help me any time I was crowded by a mob?" "If that's true then how are you still alive?" Naruto's eyes widened at the realization. "S-so you mean to tell me that..." He said with complete shock. "Yes that's right Naruto. It's always been Kurami keeping you alive."
Kurami proceeded to blush at the ackowledgement she was recieving and Naruto started to cry tears of happiness. "Thank you Kurami," Naruto said out loud. "No problem Naruto." 'I'm only doing this because I have no choice.' After 5 minutes of crying Naruto wiped his cheeks. "Naruto," Masaya said with regret, "I have to go but I will be around. And remember what I told you." "Don't worry I will. I promise." "Good. Seeya later Naruto." Masaya said before he vanished in a blood shuishin.
"Kurami can you tell me what he just did?" Naruto asked as looked down to see a red stain on the ground. "Something you don't need to know about yet," She said, "Now get in the house and get some sleep. We have alot to do tomorrow." "Right Kurami." Naruto then opened his door and went to his room and passed out knowing he would have a lot to do the next day.
