"So do you believe he's a time traveler?" I asked Marissa. She gave me an angry glare.

"Yes, I believe you." she sighed while folding her arms. We turned to the Doctor, who seemed to be enjoying this moment, I could tell he was restraining from laughing so hard.

"Where should we go to next?" the Doctor asked getting ready to pull the trigger that launched the TARDIS. I ran over and whispered in his ear.

"How about New York, you know, where you took my mom and I." I waited excitedly for an answer. He kissed my forehead and the TARDIS roared to life. Before we knew it, we were at the first place the Doctor took me: the future New York. I ran out the door and shrieked as rain poured down on me.

"Oh this is just lovely." I grunted. Marissa and the Doctor was right behind me, Marissa grunted too.

"Come on a little rain won't hurt anyone. Come on, let's go under there!" the Doctor locked the TARDIS door and we ran under a little roof. Beside us was what looked like a green dumpster with a television screen. The scenario seemed different from the last time. Before, everyone was crowding the streets and you could barely get around fast, now the streets are empty.

"Doctor something seems different from before." I pointed out while looking at the rain. The Doctor turned to the blank television screen and pulled out his sonic screw driver. A young blonde hair woman was smiling the biggest smile. All she talked about was the weather and something about a motorway. The screen showed flying cars above the city. The Doctor tapped on the screen.

"Ah here we go, that looks a lot like last time doesn't it sweetheart?" the Doctor asked. I nodded and smiled.

"What do you mean by last time?" Marissa asked me.

"This was the very first place the Doctor took me and my mom. We didn't believe he was a time traveler either and we asked him to take us to New York. Well this must be a different part of New York." I gladly explained.

"So he brought me to the slums?" Marissa asked with disappointment. The Doctor turned to her and smiled.

"Come on this is much more exciting than where I took her." The Doctor tried to make this place fun but look at it, it's muggy and dull. I felt bad for thinking about going here. The rain finally stopped and we walked out from under the roof. Suddenly, people were opening windows and calling us over to buy something.

"Are they selling drugs?" Marissa asked. I turned to the Doctor.

"I think they're moods." he said leaning towards us.

"Isn't that the same thing?" I asked. A young woman who looked extremely, poor walked up to one of the ladies who were bothering us.

"What would you like miss?" the lady in the booth asked.

"I want to buy forget." The young woman wrapped the dirty looking cloth around her tighter, what was it that she wanted to forget?

"So this is us in the future New York?" Marissa asked with disgust.

"This is on another planet so technically it's New, New, New, New, New, New York." the Doctor gasped for air. He walked over to the young lady and asked her a question.

"What is it you want to forget miss?"

"My parents, they're on the motorway, once you're on the motorway people never come back." the lady said solemnly, with that she walked away. The Doctor turned to us.

"Something is not right here." he said with a serious look. Suddenly, a stranger's arm wrapped around my neck and tugged on it tightly.

"Doctor!" I screamed as my kidnappers were pulling me away. I outstretched my arm hoping either Marissa or the Doctor would grab it and pull me to safety but not one of them moved. I turned my head to see a gun aimed at me. Everything was happening so fast and I didn't know what to do. The Doctor reached out his arm and pushed Marissa behind him.

"Let me help you, we could work this out." The Doctor said calmly. The strangers pulled me away further and further. I struggled the best I could as they pulled me through a door. Nothing I did worked on getting free, I had a feeling that a man was the one holding me by the neck. I can hear the Doctor screaming my name at the top of his lungs. I wanted to call back but the man's arm was so tight around my neck I couldn't breathe. I then started to feel sleepy, I tried to fight the sleepiness but it was overpowering, with that my eyes closed tightly.

I was starting to gain consciousness. I found myself on a bunk in a very small vehicle of some sort. I saw some bottles of pills on a small table as my eyes adjusted. I felt something on my neck and pulled off a patch that said sleep. I noticed the gun they used on me was next to the bed, I grabbed and aimed the gun with my shaky hands.

"Take me back now!" I shouted, my voice sounded sore. The kidnappers turned to me with shocked eyes.

"Take me to my friends now!" I shouted again.

"We can't right now." The woman kidnapper said. She had tan skin and really curly orange tan hair.

"We promise as soon as we get to our destination you'll be able to go back to your friends." the young man said, he had short blonde hair.

"You promise?"

"We promise, we'll let you off." The woman assured.

"How long will this take?" I asked. Hoping it won't take too long.

"About six months." the young man said.

"What?" I couldn't believe what I heard. After hearing the horrible news I decided to sit on one of their beds to take it in.

"Darling where are you?" I heard the Doctor's voice echoing. I looked around the vehicle. Was he outside?

"Doctor?" I said in my thoughts. I didn't want my kidnappers to think I was crazy. I waited for an answer, so far nothing.

"Doctor where are you?" I asked again. I heard a little gasp coming from the Doctor and I gasped a little too. Were we using telepathy? This was crazy.

"Darling is that you?" The Doctor asked. It sounded like he was about to cry, but it wasn't sad crying it almost happy crying. I started to cry in my head too.

"Yes Doctor! It's me. I'm stuck in this vehicle thing. These people said that they were going to bring me back in six years!" I shouted in my head. I tried to hide my expressions on my face. It was good to hear the Doctor again.

"Don't worry, Marissa and I are coming for you. Those people will pay for taking you!" The Doctor sounded determined.

"Now, now Doctor. These people ARE nice." I tried to calm him down.

"Nice? They pointed a gun at us while they took you!" The Doctor was angry. I wouldn't blame him, I wanted to change the subject.

"Where are you guys now?" I asked.

"We're in another vehicle with this married couple though one of them is a cat." The Doctor sounded amazed.

"What's with these cat people Doctor?" I laughed. The Doctor chuckled.

"Don't worry, we're coming for you soon. I'll contact you in a bit. I love you." With that, he was gone. We just had a full conversation with our thoughts. Why was that? Was it because of a special bond the Doctor and I had? I'll have to ask him about it when we get through with this. I decided to talk to my kidnappers for the time being. The boy was fidgeting with the controls.

"So what's the occasion? Why are you leaving New York? I would LOVE to stay in New York." I thought asking a lot of questions to pass the time.

"We are newly weds. We wanted to start a new life and I'm pregnant. The scanner said it was a boy!" The woman smiled at me.

"So what am I supposed to congratulate my kidnappers?" I snapped back. She acted like I should forget the fact that she took me away from my boyfriend and my best friend. The woman looked away with a scared face.

"Who was that man? He seems like he's quite a catch." The woman asked changing the subject.

"He is. He's my new boyfriend. We just started going out." I wanted my kidnappers to feel guilty.

"Oh, we're sorry." The man apologized.

"But I KNOW he's coming for me. He loves me more than anything. Plus he promised my mother he would keep me safe." I laughed and the newly weds did too. They told me all these stories about the place they were going. They had to go to the fast lane where you can go faster than the other cars. The husband was trying to get into contact with the managers or the people who were running the fast lane. The people finally got hold of us and told us we were able to go further. Great. Just my luck. Suddenly, the vehicle rattled. Is never a good sign when the vehicle rattles. The three of us looked at each other with worry.

"Was it the monster?" The woman asked. I looked at her with terrified eyes.

"No it's just the air vents." The man said. I still looked at the woman.

"What monster?" I asked terrified at what her answer was going to be.

"Rumor has it that people disappear on the motorway because of this monster that nobody ever saw." The woman had a smile on her face as if to make it seem like a scary ghost story.

"It's just the vents." The man assured. The vehicle shook again and at that didn't seem like an air vent. Suddenly, the power in the vehicle shut down. Great. More luck with me. I decided to contact the Doctor.

"Doctor. We lost power. I think we're in big trouble." I said in my thoughts. There was no answer.

"Doctor?" I asked again. There was no answer again. Were we too far to be in contact?

"So this boyfriend of yours? Can we trust him? What's his name?" The man asked.

"He's called the Doctor and honestly I just met him but I trust him with my life." I assured.

"Do you know what he's like? Since you just met him?" The woman asked. I shrugged my shoulders.

"From what I've learned, he's a kind and caring person. He doesn't like violence. He feels as if there's always a way to end something peacefully." I answered.

"Do you know much about him?" The man asked. I shrugged my shoulders again.

"Honestly no. I mean he told me a lot of things but like I said I just met him." I answered.

"So we're putting our lives in the hands of a stranger." The woman stated the obvious. Yep. But he's an awesome stranger in my opinion. Minutes went by and the air was starting to get stiff. It was getting harder to breathe. Was this the end for me? Again? Though I should have faith in the Doctor. He didn't fail me before and he won't fail me now. But what if I didn't get out? My parents wouldn't have any idea how I died. Unless the Doctor would go back and tell them. I shouldn't think like this, this isn't right. Suddenly the vehicle started to shake violently and the monster's cry were getting louder. After a couple of hours of waiting and waiting, the Doctor's face came on a screen holding a speaker.

"Everyone drive up now!" He kept repeating. A huge smile formed on my face realizing that the Doctor has done it again. I hugged the woman and cheered for joy.

"Don't worry sweetheart we'll be seeing each other real soon!" He said with that charming smile that I loved. I kissed my hand and placed it on the screen.

"I love you Doctor!" I shouted even though I knew he wouldn't hear me. The Doctor told the drivers where to take me. I believe it was the central control tower. When we came out of the motorway the sun was blinding. The city looked like how it did when the Doctor took mom and me but a little gloomier. When we reached the building I quickly said goodbye to the young couple and ran as fast as I could. My bangs flying in the wind, my high top converse clonking on the ground. I wanted to see my best friends again. When I reached the room where I was told to go, I stood in the doorway. There they were, Marissa and the Doctor standing there patiently waiting for me. It was a beautiful sight to see. When they noticed me, the Doctor, Marissa and I stared at each other for awhile. Then without thinking I ran to them with open arms. We gave each other a really big group hug. I turned and noticed there was a big head which I remembered was the face of Bo and a cat nurse like the last time we were here. I decided to leave it go because I was too engaged in the hug. When we all let go, the Doctor embraced me and kissed me all over my face. He really missed me. I didn't want him to let go.
