Jack and Gwen walked up to the blue box
"What did you say it was called" Gwen asked the anticipation of seeing inside of the Blue box was killing her.
"The TARDIS it stands for Time And Relative Dimension In Space" He said just as they got to the door of the TARDIS. He knocked loudly and stood back from the door. " your telling him we have to get your spouse and baby" He added quickly. Gwen shot him an evil look.
The door of the TARDIS opened abruptly.A man with graying hair and a surprisingly casual look stepped out.
"What do you want Jack" He grumbled.
" You've regenerated" Jack said astonished at the older man looking at him. He expected to see a young sprightly doctor. The one he had been seeing on TV. Instead stood before him was a grouchy gentleman who didn't look happy to see him.
"My doctor alarm went of when you where traveling here, I decided to come see you, ya know old friends and that" Jack flashed a smirk at the just stared at him under his huge eye brows. "I brought me friend Gwen along because she wanted to meet you and see inside your TARDIS"
"So now you are inviting strangers inside my ship, brilliant" The Doctor moaned.
"I'm not a stranger, I helped you save the world once" She said kinda offended that the Doctor didn't remember her.
" Oh yes your Gwyneth, nice to see you again" He mumbled.
" Actually its Gwen, but I do wanna hear about other me" She tried to smile and keep it just shrugged and walked into the TARDIS, he gestured them in to the TARDIS. When Gwen entered the ship she was astounded by the size of it Jack had explained it to he before he said "The TARDIS is dimensionally transcendental, meaning its bigger on the inside than the outside because the Interior is in another relative dimension to the exterior"
Gwen had understood it when Jack had explained it to he, but she'd never seen to what extent the largeness of the inside of the TARDIS contrasted with the tiny box it came in. Gwen was unbelievably excited. Then she remembered about Rhys and Arwen. She slowly approached the Doctor, she tapped his shoulder. He turned round quickly and looked down at her. She realized right then how tall he was. She looked at him trying to gain the confidence to ask. she began slowly.
"Um Mr Doctor I was just wondering if there was a limit to how many people you are allowed on the Tardis, I mean, what I mean is. My husband and my daughter are about to arrive in ten minutes, would it be OK if they came with us. I hate leaving them here by themselves, Rhys would forget to put underwear on if I wasn't at home to telling him he's missing them" She smiled politely and as sweetly as she could up at the Doctor.
" Fine, yes we will wait for the Family but there better not be any domestics in my TARDIS, I had enough of domestics to last me a life time" He Grumbled and then walked to the other side of the console, Just as he started pushing buttons a young women only in her early 20's entered the control room. Gwen studied her, She had short brown hair which was in a small ponytail. She wore a leather jacket with a spotty red shirt underneath, she had on plain black skinny's and red hidden heel high tops. Gwen was jealous of how pretty she was. The girl looked at Jack and her confused. She walked slowly over to the Doctor who was still messing around with the console and hadn't notice the tense atmosphere as The girl had waled in. She stood close to the Doctor. She looked at what he was doing for a few started to speak to him.
"So at what point where you going to tell me where had two strangers in the TARDIS" She asked in a joking manner. Gwen thought the Doctor was either going to ignore her or give her a short answer but he looked up at Clara and smiled.
"Clara" He smiled at her. " This is my old friend Jack Harkness and his college Gwyneth" He smiled towards Jack and Gwen.
"Actually we're more like partners in crime, whats your name sweetheart" Jack said getting his flirt on, Clara who was immune to charm just smirked at him. She walked towards them.
"Hey I'm Clara Oswald or Clara Oswin Oswald as the Doctor calls me sometimes" She held her hand out to both Gwen and Jack who shock it.
"Oh I forgot to mention we have to wait till Gwen's family get here." The doctor announce a lot more cheery than his angry, grouchy persona he was using before , this Clara must work miracles.
"Awesome, I love meeting new people." She smiled at Gwen.
"You'll have to watch out for my baby girl she's three years old and she can be quite energetic, she gets it from her mummy, but she is good as gold" Gwen's eyes sparkled when she mentioned Arwen. She was proud to be a mother.
"Oh I love baby's" Clara gushed, the Doctor rolled his eyes
"When they getting here" Jack asked.
" Anytime now" Gwen said "Actually we should wait outside for them" She said realizing they won't be able to see the TARDIS, or even know what to do with it if they did see it. She went to wait outside,Clara followed her excited to play with the toddler. Jack approached the Doctor.
"So how many time" He asked casually knowing the Doctor would under stand.
"Twice since we last talked, I was quite young last time, I'm not sure I liked that generation, he was a fool most of the time, he even got himself caught by the Cyberman" The doctor said he laughed slighlty then went back to the console . Jack took that as a sign that the Doctor wasn't going to talk to him and walked off to where his room used to be. He got lost.
