Era's view

I woke up and looked at the sleeping figure of Ahri. She seemed very peaceful. I couldn't help but smile to her before getting on with my task. I sent out a sonar and detected a herd of deer moving to the water hole that I was heading to. I wonder if Ahri would like to come along. It would make the journey more enjoyable and it would be safer because she knows more about the planet than I do. I started to pack my bag and check the canteens. We were starting to run low. We would also have to walk through a desert, I did not like the possibilities. I organised my items into essential things, weapons, food, water and other liquids like lemonade, possibly helpful and finally items that I'd find a use for later.

The sky had started to change to a bright blue and the sun's position in the sky indicated it to be 7:50 AM. I turned to face Ahri who was now waking up.

"That was a nice sleep." Ahri said.

"Morning sleepy head." I said.

"Hello Era." Ahri greeted

"Ahri, I was considering having a travel partner to the league since it would make time pass by faster, and it would help a bit. So I was wondering if you would like to tag along?" I asked.

"Would be fun to have a friend with me. Then again… Era is my only friend. I guess I'll make more friends soon. Okay, I'll join you." Ahri said happily.

"Cool, thanks. I have a few canteens with me. Two I haven't drunk from so you take those. I made a map so we will know where we need to go and the firsts top is the border of a desert." I said.

"Why there?" Ahri asked.

"There is an oasis with clean water and a herd of deer as well as a lot of cactus." I said.

"Why are cactus important?" Ahri asked.

"They are part of my food source and they contain lots of water so…" I said.

"They will have water inside we can use, and also they will help with your hunger." Ahri said.

"Precisely." I said. "I'll give you three minutes to wash up."

I pointed to a small area in the cave where there was clean water. I was not going to take it as later though because there was enough to last us till the oasis.

That was what I thought.

We had started out journey through the taiga (pine tree) forest. It has gone pretty great but as soon as we saw the trees numbers decrease in the direction we were headed, we knew it was going to be a bumpy ride. We started to grow very thirsty soon after the trees disappeared, so we drank our water. Ahri, being in need of water more than me wound up drinking all of her canteens and needed a little more water still. I though had also run out. Because of this, Ahri and I had to start walking faster to get to the oasis. In 10 minutes, we had arrived but were behind some bushes to allow Ahri some time to plan her attack on the deer. Why are there deer in the desert?

"Ahri, why are there deer in the desert?" I asked.

"They need this area as a stop for water before heading to the pine forest." Ahri said.

"I have an idea to help you with scoring a deer." I offered.

"Go on." Ahri said, intrigue flooding her tone.

"Scare the deer to me. I then knock it out and you can kill it." I said.

"Why must I kill it?" Ahri asked.

"Do you want I psychotic killing anything living in this dimension?" I asked.

"Fair point." Ahri said. "I'll get to the deer and scare them."

Ahri snuck up behind the deer and then made a loud rustling sound and poked up one of her tails and when the deer saw that, they made a mad dash for it. I made a jump into the air, flipped around and slammed my foot into the head of a deer making it pass out. Ahri then took a sword I had and stabbed it.

"Easier than my alternative." Ahri said.

"Go on." I said.

"I'd sooth a deer using a magic charm and then kill it. Took more time though. You plan is easier." Ahri said.

"I'm gonna go get some cactus." I said.

"You don't like deer?" Ahri asked.

"Hybrids are incapable of meat consumption." I said.

"Oh. Okay." Ahri said.

"It is good though because if we freeze it, it'll last longer. If we cook it, it'll be safer for you to eat." I said.

"How do you know all of this stuff?" Ahri asked.

"I have been alive for 13 billion years. I kinda have to know this stuff." I said, shrugging. "I also went to a school and when that barely gave me the knowledge I was seeking, I went to the future with Dialga and Uxie who then gave me infinite knowledge. I had to go to the future though to make sure that it had a 100% chance of working."

"I don't understand it but I won't question it because I know that somehow, that does make sense." Ahri said.

"Most entities are like that." I said. "To be fair, my I.Q is 15739."

"That is… good?" Ahri asked.

"Yes." I said. "Extremely good."

"Okay. I'm going to go eat some of my deer. Hey do you think I ought to kill a rabbit or two?" Ahri asked.

"No. the deer will last you a week." I said.

"Sounds good." Ahri said. "How long will it take to get to the league?"

"According to my map." I said activating the map feature on my wrist device. "A week, maybe six days if we hurry." I said.

"Well then you get your cactus and fill up the water canteens!" Ahri demanded.

"On it." I said.

I went down to the lake and started to fill the canteens. I then got a call from my brother.

"Hey Era, guess where I am!" Shadow shouted gleefully.

"In my office hopefully." I said.

"Nope!" Shadow shouted.

I could have sworn I heard an echo just then…

Wait a minute! Is that the sky?

…

Oh no.

"AHRI RUN!" I shouted.

"Wait what… is that?" Ahri asked, pointing at my brother who was headed straight towards her.

"Oh for the love of…" I shouted.

I teleported to Ahri's side and made a force field appear. When Shadow hit the force field, he bounced off into the lake. Due to him being of fire when he was falling, he made the lake evaporate a little.

"KIILLLLLLLL!" Shadow growled, looking directly into my eyes. "KIIILLLLLL!"

He lunged forward towards me, I teleported Ahri away so she would not be hurt and then I took the head butt attack from Shadow. I went into my human state and drew out two katanas from their sheaths.

"Destruct… brother." Shadow violently growled.

He lunged at me again and I dodged, hitting him on the head with the hilt of my blade before going hybrid (swords now floating by my side) and shooting a flamethrower at him. The hybrid was sent flying, but he quickly recovered and flew at me with a dragon rush. I was hit and took immense damage from it.

"So you've been training huh?" I asked. "MEGA EVOLVE!" I cried.

My zodite orb flashed a brilliant blue light and I started to transform, my torso became fire, swords became metal and stone, head to water, arms to vines, legs to electric and wings to tornados!

"When will I finally have control of my true power?" I asked myself silently.

"DIE!" Shadow shouted.

He shot a flamethrower at me!

"UNIVERSAL FURY!" I shouted, shooting a blue beam at him, destroying plants, the terrain and when it made contact with Shadow, a massive explosion occurred!

Shadow was sent flying into a tree, a loud thump was heard. Shadow suddenly seemed to calm down, not acting violently now. I transformed into a human again.

"Woah! What happened here?" Shadow asked.

"You attacked me." I said.

I teleported Ahri back here and was about to explain about my brother but I got another message from… Ash?

"What does it say Era?" Ahri asked.

"It says... AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH?" I said puzzled.

We three heard two screams, one male and one female.

"Not again." I said, creating a force field, bouncing the two falling entities into the lake.

The two got out the water and walked over to us.

"Ash? Dawn?" I asked, even more puzzled.

"We all wanted to go to the reality you went to so here we are." Dawn said.

"Nice timing with the force field Era." Ash said.

There was a short silence, cut by Ahri.

"Who are these… people? Err… hybrids? I don't know, who are they and how the hell do they know you Era?" Ahri asked.

The three turned to Ahri, attack written all over their faces. Shadow would have shot an aura sphere, but I forced him into his human state and used psychic on all 4 of the entities around me.

"Okay, Ash, Dawn Shadow, this is Ahri. She and I are friends. We are travelling to the league of legends. Ahri, these hybrids are my brother shadow, who tried to kill us, the young boy is Ash, the 100th descendent of the eclipse family, and his girlfriend Dawn, 100th descendant of Star the hybrid. Oh hey. That reminds me, who is in charge of the office in out absences Shadow?" I asked, a little mad.

"Pip." He said.

"You left… my psychotic… giga intellect piplup in charge of the office? Good call." I said

"Any way, what is the league of legends?" Ash asked.

"Basically a five vs five fight club." I said. "But you must destroy this thing called a nexus if you want to win. One in each base."

"Okay… so how did you two meet?" Shadow asked. "And, what's going on between ya?"

Shadow had a very creepy smirk on his face now.

"Long story short, I am lost, find a cave, meet Ahri, who had been stalking me and trying to scare me." I said.

"And…" Shadow said.

"That's all… Shadow." Ahri said.

"Oh come on!" Shadow shouted. "Nothing?"

"Can it Shadow." Ash said.

"Where's the interesting bits? Did you kiss?" He cried.

"Shadow, shut up." Dawn said.

"You seriously mean nothing cool at all has happe." Shadow said before being K.O'd by Era's draco punch.

"Perverted, son of a bitch!" I growled.
