In the morning Allen slowly sat up mindful not to disturb Kanda who was sound asleep. Kanda looked so peaceful as he slept with his head turned to the side, his hair messily fanned around him on the pillows. Quietly Allen used his phone to take a quick picture before he got up getting changed out of the night kimono to a nice pretty day one that was more on the feminine side. It was only six in the morning so pretty much everyone was asleep except for a few of the staff at the hot spring. Allen went outside the building before dialing his father's number. It was about ten at night where Cross was so Allen wasn't exactly expecting Cross to answer but Cross did.

"Hello." Cross was clearly very tired so Allen knew that Cross had been asleep when Allen called. Well he hadn't meant to wake Cross up, now he felt bad for calling.

"Hey dad... Sorry, I didn't think you would answer..." Allen replied sheepishly. Cross at first hadn't known who was calling him at such a late hour since he hadn't checked his phone before answering. Knowing it was Allen, Cross sat up so he didn't accidentally fall back asleep.

"It's fine. You told me you would call when it was morning for you... I just lost track of time and laid down..." Cross stated making Allen feel a little better but not completely. Allen leaned against a tree looking up at the sky as Cross spoke. "Anyway how are things going for you?"

"We finished a large project at work so we're moving on to a new one... should be fun. I kinda got a boyfriend... I had a lot of fun using the hot springs for the first time. I don't know why I didn't go to one sooner..." Allen said catching Cross up on his life and what Cross missed in the whole few days since they last called each other.

"Hold up... Back up..." Cross said once Allen finished talking. He could tell Allen was trying to bury the fact that he seemed to have a new boyfriend without lying or hiding it from Cross. It wasn't that Allen was bad at lying but that he didn't like lying to Cross. The fact that Cross caught that made Allen laugh nervously.

"Y-yeah... I have a boyfriend now... I think...? Or at least got asked out on a date? I really hope that its more of a permanent thing because... Well I really kind of have liked him for a while but never thought he would like me like that..." Allen trailed off now staring down at the ground drawing invisible designs with his foot.

"We've talked about that attitude Allen. You are a likeable person...with bad taste in men..." Cross stated not liking how Allen always had at least a little bit of self hate. Allen was always so negative about himself but was great about cheering others up about themselves. "So tell me about this guy."

"Kanda? He usually seems grumpy but I think he's actually nice... It's easy to talk to him and he doesn't judge. He's really cool too! He practices kendo and karate, he likes to meditate which is amazing to me cause I don't have the first clue about it. And he likes classical music too." Allen was almost gushing over Kanda which most people would find kinda gross but Cross found it kinda cute. It was nice to hear Allen so happy, it had been some time since Cross heard Allen so honestly happy.

"Have you played for him?" Cross asked which made Allen shake his head even though Cross couldn't see it.

"No. I haven't. I haven't played the piano in a long time..." Allen said more soft since it was a bit of a sore topic for Allen.

"Anyway kiddo... I'll talk to you later... I need some sleep." Cross hated to cut the call short but he was tired.

"Okay no problem. I'll talk to you later." Allen said with a smile before hanging up.

"I had no idea I was so cool." Kanda said sarcastically making Allen nearly jump out of his skin, his cheeks turned bright red as he dropped his phone turning to look at Kanda. He hadn't realized that Kanda was there for most of the call.

"K-Kanda... how much did you hear...?" Allen asked as he reached down picking up his cellphone.

"Pretty much all of it... You woke me up when you left." Kanda answered with a smirk since Allen was cute when he blushed. "And by the way I would like to think that once we have our first official date that we will be boyfriends but that's up to you." Kanda added making Allen blush even more. Allen covered his face with his hands trying to hide his blushing. Good god that meant Kanda heard how much Allen liked him, that was so awkward.

"W-we should get food or something..." Allen said too embarrassed to talk about how much he liked Kanda. Kanda couldn't help but chuckle softly at Allen's adorable response.

"Okay let's get breakfast." Kanda replied leading Allen back inside. The two ate breakfast in their room while everyone else slept. As they ate the two talked about what they could do since they couldn't just sit in the hot springs the whole two days. They decided they could go walking in the trails around the place and explore. After Allen and Kanda finished eating they got changed so they could go walking without worrying about anything. Allen put on a pair of jeans and a long sleeve black shirt while Kanda put on dark jeans and a black form fitting t shirt. Since everyone else was still sleeping Kanda and Allen left without them leaving a note letting the others know where they went.

"So you haven't played that piano in a while... how come?" Kanda asked as they walked down a path observing the scenery around them.

"Oh... Yeah. I used to play all the time but after Mana passed... I haven't really played as much. I've played that piano maybe once since I bought it..." Allen replied with a soft smile but it was one of his practiced ones not a real one.

"Hm... I haven't played my violin in a while... Mostly because Tiedoll has it but still..." Kanda tried to change the subject to try and cheer Allen up which seemed to work as Allen looked to him with an excited smile.

"Really? You play the violin? That's really cool." Allen smiled brightly at Kanda. It seemed Kanda was successful in cheering Allen up. Well in truth it often didn't seem hard to make Allen's day. Sometimes just saying hi to Allen seemed to make Allen's day.

"Yeah in high school we had to do something art like so I did orchestra and after school did the kendo as my club activity. Do you have to be in an after school activity in London?" Kanda knew nothing of schools in London but knew Allen had attended one.

"Hm? No... There's a lot of activities to choose from but you don't have to. I wasn't into the sports so I would just go home and do homework and stuff. I got good grades so it worked out in the end." Allen answered as they stopped at a nearby lake deciding to sit and take a break. They sat and talked about random things and sometimes sat in silence admiring the view of the lake and all the trees around. It was one of the most peaceful places Allen had been to in a long time. It was really nice to just sit with Kanda and talk or even just be quiet and appreciate the nature around them.
