p style="text-align: center;"strongAfter going through my first year of college, and finally started my first job, I realized I don't have as much time to think about all the stories that go on in my head, I want to warn my readers that you should not expect me to update that often anymore. I run out of ideas sometimes and can get overwhelmed to write. I have lots of things I want to happen in this story, but I have a hard time starting a story. I hope that you all can understand. /strongstrongspan style="color: #545454; font-family: arial, sans-serif; font-size: small; line-height: 18.200000762939453px;" Thank you./span/strong/p

p style="text-align: left;"Danni flew around for a minute before she had to go back to the classroom. It didn't make sense, the ghosts were there one minute and gone the next, what made them disappear? As she walked back into Lancer's classroom the bell rang for lunch time. Sam and Tucker were already by her side and Tucker handed Danni her backpack. She gave him a smile, "Thanks Tuck."/p
p style="text-align: left;""What's up? You left the classroom in a rush" Tucker asked. /p
p style="text-align: left;"Danni looked down the hall as they walked to the lunchroom, "Well there were two ghosts out in front of the school. When I was headed towards one I got distracted and one of them hit me into one of the empty teacher offices. But I am a bit comfused on how the ghost ended up in front of me so fast. It was like lightning. Then when I went back out to fight them, they were gone." First there was her 'false alarm' ghostly breath from last night, and now this?/p
p style="text-align: left;""This could either be good or really, really bad." Tucker mused. /p
p style="text-align: left;""Are you kidding? It's bad Tuck! Obviously they must be hiding somewhere." Sam gave Tucker a look as she says that./p
p style="text-align: left;""Yeah... I also saw a black figure move from the corner of my eye when I came back out to fight the ghosts again." Danni's voice was strained from anxiety of the situation./p
p style="text-align: left;""Maybe it was the ghosts and they flew away once you came back out?" Tucker asked./p
p style="text-align: left;""But the ghosts aren't black..." Danni sighed and tried to calm down. "Either the ghosts are hiding somewhere, like Sam said, or there's someone else making them disappear." /p
p style="text-align: left;"The group had already gone through the lunch line while having this conversation in hushed tones. Now they walked over to their lunch table, "But... if someone else was busting ghosts too, isn't that a good thing?" Sam inquired before they sat down./p
p style="text-align: left;""Well that's the thing... I'm not sure. My gut is going crazy about it though, and not in the good way." Danni points her fork over at Sam before eating her mashed potatos. /p
p style="text-align: left;"Sam shivered and shook her head, "Well, we shouldn't talk about this stuff too much now. Come over to my house and we will make a stratagy to figure it out." Both Danni and Tucker nod their heads in agreement. Then Sam leaned forward with such a lovestruck grin on her face that almost made Danni fall backwards. "Isn't Lux... he's just so... I don't even have words for him!" /p
p style="text-align: left;"Danni groaned, "Should have known the conversation would change to this."/p
p style="text-align: left;"Sam crossed her arms, "What? This is my first crush Danni! Is that such a bad thing?"/p
p style="text-align: left;""No it's just-"/p
p style="text-align: left;""This is the first time I've liked someone this much... The least you can do as my friend is support me." Sam huffed and looked a little hurt./p
p style="text-align: left;"Danni sighed and felt a bit guilty looking at Sam's hurt face, "It's just that I don't want my best friend to get hurt. Lux gives off bad vibes. He must have been part of a gang or something. There's a look in his eye that seems so sinister... No it's not just sinister but evil." /p
p style="text-align: left;"Sam shook her head, "You know what I think? I think you're just jealous."/p
p style="text-align: left;"Tucker tried to butt in between both Danni and Sam. He knew where this was headed, "Hey now-"/p
p style="text-align: left;""Jealous? Of what?" Danni spat./p
p style="text-align: left;""Jealous that I have a guy flirting with me and no one has flirted with you." Sam crossed her arms at Danni./p
p style="text-align: left;"All Danni could do was facepalm. "Sam I have no time to deal with love in my life, I'm too busy busting ghosts."/p
p style="text-align: left;""Just because you go around fighting ghosts doesn't mean that you aren't a teenager anymore. It doesn't mean that you don't have the wants and needs like other teenagers do. It doesn't mean that you don't want someone to like you eventually, Danni!" Sam said firmly and angrily./p
p style="text-align: left;""It's not about my wants and needs!" Danni almost shouted, attracting some attention from around them. Immediatly she spoke much softer but still with some force, "I've already accepted the fact that I can't have love in my life. If I ever got together with someone I know that somehow they would get hurt. Weather it's ghost related or if it's from me never being there with them because I'm too busy fighting ghosts! I can't have love in my life."/p
p style="text-align: left;"Both Tucker and Sam stared at her in an awe. Neither knew that she had already had those intentions. "Danni..." Sam said in a soft tone, "I-I'm sorry for saying you were jealous."/p
p style="text-align: left;""It's fine." Danni said sort of monotoned./p
p style="text-align: left;"Sam knew very well that Danni was not a very open person, and hid a lot of things to herself. This incident just proved that Danni still hides things from her friends so they don't need to worry about her. "I don't think you should hold yourself back from love," Sam said softly as she looked at her food. "You shouldn't punish yourself like that."/p
p style="text-align: left;""You don't get it Sam-"/p
p style="text-align: left;""I get it Danni. Okay? You're scared. You're scared to lose the person you love, and I know how you are. If you lost them, you would blame yourself."/p
p style="text-align: left;""It would be my fault, if they get hurt it would be because of me. I'm the one attracting the ghosts. I'm the one who's always in a fight everyday. How could I protect them at the same time?" Danni could feel the tears that she's held back starting to come up and she shook her head. "I'm not hungry."/p
p style="text-align: left;"Just in the nick of time, the bell rang and Danni immediatly got up and threw her food away, slinging her backpack over her shoulder. Sam tried to catch up to her but she already blended into the crowd and headed to class. /p
p style="text-align: left;"emThey can't understand.../em Danni thought to herself. emMaybe if Sam or Tucker lived my life, they would understand why I chose not to love. /em/p
