The next morning I actually woke up to an alarm clock that was placed next to my bed instead of actually waking up whenever I wanted to. I got up and took a bath, as the water filled the tub, I went to lay my uniform out, making it look presentable and clean. As I stepped into the bath I felt the warmth around my hooves. I stepped in all the way and laid back. The warmth and wetness calmed my muscles. All the tension built up released into the water as I took a deep breath. I closed my eyes and enjoyed as the warmth wrapped around and inside me.

I turned shivering, wanting to pull my blanket over me and go back to sleep. I reached for a blanket but found myself splashing water. My eyes shot open. I looked and saw the clock tower in Ponyville. It was 12:50! I jumped out of the bath, got changed, put my saddle bags on and flew out of my house.

The wind whipped my face, pulling everything back as I flew at top speed to make it to the edge of Everfree Forest in time. The letter said 1300 hours, or 1 'o' clock. (Sorry if I got that wrong I'm not good at these times.) I neared the forest but felt a familiar sense of my cheeks being pulled back, a pain, not to sharp, but small pain forming around my face which quickly disappeared. Then a cone started to form in front of me, growing bigger rapidly. Finally, nothing, no sound, just wind in my face. I looked back to see a rainbow ring grow bigger from where I was. I slowed to not crash into the ground then I heard everything again. Birds, small chatter in the distance of Ponyville, wind softly blowing against my face. I looked around to see faces of many ponies staring at me. Amazed by what they just witnessed they only managed to stare at me. I fell into the line of recruit ponies as the commanding officer neared me.

"You think you can just fly right in and fall in line soldier? Do you think you are tough enough to even be here?"

"Try me sir"

As I said that I got a closer look at the officer. He had a gray coat with a red mane sticking out from under a hat he wore, his short tail matching the color of his mane. He had no wings, indicating he wasn't a Pegasus, but no horn was seen because of his hat. I looked at his eyes and instantly regret it. His eyes were piercing and a cold blue. His brows were furrowed and I knew then and there I was in trouble.

"Excuse me? Did you just say that? You better shut your bucking mouth before I do it for you."

I gulped, this isn't going to be like the academy.

"Yes sir!"

"Now before any of you decide to make any more smart remarks, you will run to the other edge of Everfree Forest following this trail. Leave nopony behind, understood?"

"Sir, yes, sir!" we all cried and took off running, leaving all of our bags where we just stood.

We ran at a fast pace and while we ran I noticed some ponies I have seen around Ponyville. Some were like one pony, who other ponies called Doctor Whooves. I then noticed another pony. It was Spitfire, and right next to her was Soarin'. I couldn't believe it as there was my idol about to go to battle with me.

As we finished the run, we found a building labeled living quarters. We all made our way to the building and found our stuff was already next to our designated bunk beds. I heard a bell and recognized it was the bell to call us to dinner.

I made my way to the mess hall trying to find a way to talk to Spitfire, but she was already overcrowded by her other fans. I made my way to where the line started. As the line shortened, ponies went back to the living quarters to socialize. I finally got my food and then asked myself what it was they gave me to eat. It looked like some kind of weird flower mixed with hay and dough. I sat down at a table and talked with a few other ponies. I finally gained enough courage to take a bite, as did some of the other ponies. As I took a bite, I realized it wasn't as bad as I thought. It was edible enough, so I finished it and walked back to the living quarters.

As I went to my bed I noticed that there was a pony I seemed to be sharing a bunk bed with. It was a pure black stallion with dark blue wings that looked like they could blow me off my hooves. His hooves were purple. His mane had strips of black, purple, and dark blue. His cutie mark was an electric blue thunderbolt with a cloud honing it. His body looked strong and built, not too much muscle.

I approached him with a grin on my face wanting to make friends and not have somepony on the battlefield want to kill me other than the enemy.

"Hi! You must be sharing a bunk bed with me, I'm Rainbow Dash"

He looked at me coldly and kept unpacking.

"Um, what's your name?"

Again he looked at me with a serious face, then slowly he opened his mouth and spoke.

"Survivor."

He had a deep voice like no other pony, not as deep as when Fluttershy had a deep voice, but still very deep. It was tough sounding as his voice sounded intense.

"Hey Survivor! I don't want to bother you so I'll unpack and get to sleep."

He grunted and finished packing before spreading his wings out and taking a strong flap before he flew up and he landed softly on his bed on top bunk, using his wings to slow his descent. I Tried to keep from gaping as I started to unpack.

When I finished unpacking I rolled onto my bed, and listened. Ponies were breathing evenly, some snoring, and some tossing. I listened and heard that Survivor had a nice and slow pace, breathing gently. I closed my eyes and thought to myself. What if I don't survive this training?

There you have it, sorry if I didn't include your pony or got it wrong, I don't think I got it wrong but if I did I'll fix it. I don't want to include anymore ponies so I won't include anymore ponies if you write. I hope you enjoyed that chapter because its about 6 now and I'm still not tired so please stick around for more of the story.
