Harry Potter and Voldemort's helper
Hope you gays liek this chapter. So here we go.
Sunlight peered through James's curtain. He tried to fall back to sleep by putting his pillow over his head, but it didn't help much. It just made it harder. He decided he couldn't sleep anymore and got up. Twenty minutes later he was stumbling down the stairs. He had put on yesterday's t-shirt and jeans. His jet black hair looked more untidy than it normally was. Unlike his father, James kept his hair really short so that it wouldn't get in the way all the time. He walked into the kitchen and sat down in the first chair he could find. He grabbed a bowl and the cereal and poured some in his bowl. He then poured milk in his bowl and glass.
"Are we going to Diagon Alley today?" he asked.
"Yes, we need to bay school things for Lily," his mother, Ginny said. "Your letter came today". James grabbed it and opened it.
"Come on, half of its Lockhart books, they're really expensive," James said.
"Hasn't he just recovered from his memory loss about twenty six years ago?" Ginny asked.
"I remember he lost his memory, that's what you get from using Ron's broken wand," James's father said as he let out a chuckle.
"Harry, it's not funny. I heard he's taken a job at Hogwarts," Ginny said. The news seemed so shocking that both Harry and James, who had both just taken a sip of milk, spurted out the milk. It spread nicely over the kitchen table.
"What?" they both said. Albus would also have said it, but he had gotten milk all over his cheese sandwich. He was now busy drying up the milk. He glared at Harry and James.
"Harry, James, where's your manners?" Ginny said.
"Which subject is he teaching?" Harry asked.
"Charms," Ginny replied. Both James and Albus sighed.
"Come on, it's not that bad," Ginny said.
"Are you kidding me? Charms is the subject I do worst in, worse than potions," James said.
"I'm just worried about what house I'll end up in," Lily said.
"I think it'll stand between Ravenclaw and Gryffindor," Albus said.
"Could be Slytherin, but most likely Gryffindor, you're not smart enough for Ravenclaw," James said.
"James, she won't end up in Slytherin," Harry said.
"Oh no, I forgot, you can't be completely bonkers to be in Slytherin," James said.
"James," Harry said. "You'll probably be in Gryffindor".
"How is the sorting?" Lily asked. James remembered his sorting. It was something else than Albus's had been.
James was nervous. He was standing outside the Great Hall. Kate was standing beside him. He looked at John, who he had met on the train. He looked nervous. The big doors opened and James suddenly found himself walking through them. There were about a thousand people there. He knew very well that there weren't so many people there, but it felt like it.
"Abbot, Vera," he suddenly heard Professor McGonagall call. A small brown haired girl walked over to the stool. Professor McGonagall put the sorting hat on her head.
"Huffelpuff,"the hat called out. The girl jumped up and ran over to the Huffelpuff table.
"Nervous?" Kate asked. James shook his head. Not Slytherin, I'll take anything else, well except Huffelpuff, James thought.
"Dursely, John," McGonagall called out. John walked over to the hat. He was really nervous.
"Gryffindor," The hat said.
"Finnegan, Tom," McGonagall called. A small nervous boy walked up to the stool.
"Gryffindor," the hat called out. James just felt more and more nervous the further down the list they got.
"Jefferson, Kate," McGonagall called. Kate walked up to the stool.
"Another Jefferson, this is the Weasley's all over again, Gryffindor," The hat called out. James closed his eyes. He was dead nervous. His heart beating as fast as it had ever done before.
"Longbottum, Jessica," McGonagall said. She was placed in Gryffindor.
"Potter, James," McGonagall said. James walked over to the stool. He felt the hat being put on his head.
"Not Slytherin, please," James whispered to himself.
"Not Slytherin, you like your father might be great in Slytherin, but maybe you'll prove yourself, Gryffindor," the hat called out. James felt really reviled. He ran over to the Gryffindor table and sat down beside Kate.
"Thomas, Jerry," McGonagall called out. He was placed in Ravenclaw and the next girl Huffelpuff.
"Weasley, Neil," McGonagall called out.
"It nearly put me in Slytherin," James whispered.
"No kidding," Kate said. James just nodded.
"Gryffindor," the hat called out. Neil walked over to the Gryffindor table. James watched the last five people be sorted before they finally could eat.
