Chapter three
We ran into the town still holding hands getting over our fit of laughter. I spotted the sign for the blacksmith's shop and gave him a light tug in that direction, "Quickly! This way!" We ran that way and I spotted the smith's statue and we hid behind it, me still giggling. The soldiers ran by and Jack slowly peeked out from behind the statue's arm as he pulled the surprisingly real sword from the thing's hand. "All clear Luv." I followed him as we scrambled inside the shop. Jack began looking around for something to break the chains with. I looked around trying to help, I mean the guy did just save my life. I heard something fall and both of our gazes snapped to the side of the room where Mr. Brown was passed out in a chair. Jack slowly crept over to him and I had to bit my lip to keep from chuckling at his pose. He leaned over Mr. Brown and lightly poked him, no reaction.
He shrugged and turned around to face me and started walking towards me before he spun on his heels and jumped in the air, "WOOH!" He weaved back in forth as he waited for a reaction incase he had to jump into action, it still looked pretty funny. Satisfied, he grabbed the hammer and threw it to me, "You any good with one of these?" I tossed it betyween my hands and shrugged, "I don't know. I'll have a go." He sat down infront of the black anvil and spread his chains across it. I took a deep breath and positioned it behind my back before I swung it down full force. I smiled when it landed on the chains and succsefully made a rather large dent. He grinned and I went at it again.
I grew breathless as the metal refused to snap and a layer of sweat coated my skin, now, I was not new to physical labor, it was actually a common thing for me to do at ho,e, but this metal just would not break ad I had had it! "Alright Luv, I think ye made yer point." I huffed and blew the hair out of my face as he began to look around. I looked up at him just as his eyes caught the sight of the donkey and the pull wheel. He grabbed a heated poker and glanced at the donkey before swiftly poking it in the toush. It brayed and began trying to run in it's small little circle.
Jack jumped up and caught his chains on a notch as the wheel slowly spun. He grinned triumphantly as the chain snaped and he fell back to his feet. I quietly cheered but we both panniced as the door started opening. He dove behind a counter and I sprinted up the cart that he and Will would later fight on before I jumped for the rafters. I caught one of the beems and hauled myself up and swung my legs up just intime as the door opened. I noticed all the dust a little to late and held my breath as Will strode in. He tossed his coat onto the chair and smiled at Brown, "Right where I left you." He noticed the hammer on the anvil, "Not where I left you." He then noticed Jack's hat sitting among the scattered tools. I rolled my eyes as he went to pick it up.
Jack jumped out of nowhere and smacked Will's palm with his swords flat. Will's gaze snapped at him as he jerked his hand back and away from him. "It's you, the pirate. One of the ones they're hunting." He paused as if remebering something, "If your here, then where's your wench?" I couldn't hold my breath anylonger and took a light breath through my nose and sneezed. "AHHCHOOO!" I knocked myself off the beem and crashed onto the floor with my back. I lay there winded before waving at them as I stared at the ceiling, "H-hey, was'up?" I groaned and let my hand fall back to the floor making a small cloud of dust as Will faced Jack again. "You seem hauntingly familiar, have I ever threaghtened you before?" Will's jaw clenched, "I make a point to avoid a familiarity with pirates." He growled. Jack nodded and closed his eyes as if having a 'euricha' moment, "Then lets not make a black mark on your record then shall we?" He nodded at me since I had sat up to watch the show.
Before he could grab his hat and walk over to me Will had grabbed a sword and pointed it at his neck. Jack paused before drawing his own blade and sliding it along Wills, "Are you sure that's wise boy? Crossing blades with a pirate?" He taunted. Will answered by striking Jack's blade, they had a mini-battle before Jack nodded nearly proudly, "So your arm-works good, but let's see how your footwork is," He paused and started walking to the left of Will as I stood up, "If I step here," They crossed blades again and Jack again nodded, "Very good. Now again," They crossed again until Jack had manuevered himself with his back to the door and me, "Tah." He turned and sheathed hhis sword pulling me with him as he jumped up the small brick wall leaving a confused Will behind.
I ducked a split second before the sword that Will had thrown embeded itself in the wood right where my head had been. I spun on my heels and glared at him, "You slagger! I'd like tah keep my head intact thank you very much!" He said nothing as Jack attempted to pull the sword out of the wall. Coming to no avail he spun and smiled at Will with false sinverity , "That is a very nice trick except for the fact that you are once again in our way of escape and now," He said jumping off the short wall as he drew his sword, "You have no weapon."
I saw Will glance at the sword being pointed at his beck before lashing his arm out to the side and grabbing a sword from the nearby fire. Sparrow glanced at the white hot tip as there swords met in a clash if sparks. They began fighting and I was so entranced by it. Seeing it in a movie, but seeing it in real life is a whole different shebang if ya get my meaning. I was so engrossed in the fight that I didn't notice that blasted blacksmith get up and make his drunken way over to me.
The last thing I saw and heard was a stumble and something meaty crashing into the back of my head. I crashed to the floor thinking, 'Here we go again.' Before my consciousness was stolen from me and I blacked out.
When I came to I noticed it was dark, dank and- Good lord do I not want to know what that awful smell is...reminds me of my sisters old perfume, blech! Looking around, I saw Jack leaning up against the wall with his hat down shrouding his face. I scooted over to his feet and sat down. I winced as something pulled and stretched in my abdominal cavity. I held it before leaning back against the wall and let a small groan escape my mouth.
Jack glanced at me as the spasm passed. "Ya alright luv?" I chuckled and winced as it fritzd again. "If I told you no then I'd be a liar, and I ain't to big of a fan of them." He nodded before relaxing again. I glanced in the direction of the other cells where the other pirates were calling and whistling for the key dog. I rolled my eyes, "You people do realize that dog is not going to come to you, smelling as you do." I added under my breath.
One scraggly lookin fellow glared at me, "Well excuse me if we haven't reserved ourselves to the gallows yet."
I rolled my eyes before looking a up at Sparrow, "Wake me when you've come up with a plan."
He chuckled and I fell asleep.

I groaned as I stood up off of the misty ground.
"Where am I?" I mumbled as I looked around. Everywhere was black and there was a red mist. Something whisked past my head and I spun around. "Hello?!"
There was no answer and the mist continued to spin and whirl on. I sighed and turned around only to jump back, startled, as two, glowing, amethyst orbs meet my eyes. I frowned when they didn't move. I stared at them cautious before turning around only to be blocked by a pair of green floating orbs. I took a step towards them and it was like a switch went off and they started lighting up all around me.
I gasped and took a step back. There were blues, reds, purples, greens, yellows, and grays.
I spun in a slow circle trying to see them all, and trying to keep all of the unblinking eyes in my sight. It didn't really work. I finally came to a stop and found myself staring down the large narrow blue eyes.
"Choose child." A voice boomed.
I spun around and glanced at all the eyes through the red mist, "Who are you?"
"Choose child!" The voice exclaimed.
I cocked my head to one side and questioned the voice, "You mean pick a pair of eyes?"
"If that is how you wish to see it." It answered.
Without hesitation I went for the blue ones. I let my hand barely stroke them when a gust of wind buffeted me and the mist swirled around me.
"You have chosen. And so, it begins." The voice called out as I was consumed by the mist. I saw a brief flash of scales before my world went dark.
