Chapter 3: Explanations

'Hrk...what the hell...aw fuck! My wrist! The hell's wrong with it?!' I groaned as I find my vision getting clearer. The ceiling is purple, and the bed is pretty comfortable.

Flashback

'RAAHH! FUCKING ANTI-CPUS! DIE!' I roared with all my might.

Present

Upon remembering what happened, my eyes shot open as I looked around, fully alert. After a few seconds however, I realised my mistake. Although the people-no...CPUs I attacked seemed similar to Anti-CPUs, they were most definitely different. I was just blinded with rage. I pushed the blanket off my body, and looked around. There seems to be a table for work, a drawer, a television, and a computer. Pretty neat for a guest room. Looking down at myself, I found myself covered in bandages. This handiwork! Compa-san? I limped out of the guest room, desperately trying to find Compa-san.

'Hehehehe!' Hearing voices from the door on my left, I barged in, only to find myself in a huge dining area. The tables are all adorned with large tablecloths. Party stuff is also all around the room, not that I know what they are exactly.

'So you're up?' I turned my head to see...Anti-Purple?! Wait no! Calm down...if I remember correctly, she's...Neptune?

'Neptune-san...no...Neptune-sama?' I asked, not knowing what to expect.

'So you know me hmm? What's with that manner of address though?' She asked. I decided to tell her, since based on how she acts, it's definitely not Anti-Purple...it worked...Rachel-sama...it worked! However, before I said anything, the words came to my mind.

'While existing knowledge of the Anti-CPUs doesn't trigger that crappy device, if someone were to gain knowledge of the Anti-CPUs, it will go off. Be careful.' Remembering this, I realised I may have inadvertently sped up the day...Doomsday when I told them about Anti-CPUs in my rampage. I decided to improvise.

'I come from the Heavens, sent by the True Goddess, to get you CPUs to become stronger for future threats.' Technically, it's true...like the last part of my statement.

'Really hmm?' That voice...Blanc-sama huh.

'Yep! I mean, you can sense my aura resembling that of a CPU right?'

'Ya! Aite! Let's do this y'all!' Alright! It's a lil weird for me to think this but...how the fuck did Neptune-sama get convinced this quickly? Anyways, after a long hour of me giving random shit answers, I got them to believe me. Time to change what needs to be changed!

Blanc's POV

It's not like I believe him. He may have skipped through the 'Anti-CPUs' part by saying it was a distraction that he used, but his rage was real. Too real. Therefore, I smell some bullshitting. By the way, he says his name is Derrick. No last names. Seems legit as he claims that he's a messenger for the True Goddess. However, I'm only going along cause I'm curious, and his strength is indeed real. I would have been struck unconscious if not for the creepy shit that happened. Anyways, I find a single shit peculiar. He has a symbol that resembles that of Rachel's. Rachel wears a green knee-length dress, along with a white jacket. Her blonde hair is silky, and she has green eyes. She currently has on a pair of green heels. She has white gloves on. On the back of her jacket, there is a green butterfly. And voila. Derrick has a blue and white trench coat on. Underneath the cost lies a blue vest and grey jeans. He has black sneakers on. His black hair is pretty messy, however, despite that, he still looks quite handsome, especially with his bright hazel eyes. If it weren't for his ramage the first time we met, he could potentially make my heart go 'doki doki'. He has a black watch on his right wrist, and finally, a ring on his left ring finger. The ring is special for it has a symbol of a butterfly. More specifically, Rachel's butterfly. I doubt anyone else noticed that yet though. That's why, I'll wait a bit before questioning him.

'Okay! Let's go through some stuff!' Derrick said pretty enthusiastically while looking at us CPUs and the CPU Candidates.

Derrick's POV

'First of all, all CPUs have an ability known as the CPUs' True Power. It's an ability that has the power to change the tide of the battle. It's basically a game-changing power. Examples include Rei-sama's ability to pierce through dimensions, although that's only a simple application of it. Uzume-sama's reality warping also falls under this category, though Kurome's power is a more advanced one, possibly due to Kurome's experience. And there are obviously limits. For example, for Uzume to use her power, she has to unconsciously use it and her mind has to be in a good state, though the former limit is kinda...broken through already.'

'Wait! You know Rei and Uzume? Also, even Kurome?' Vert questioned. I simply nodded. I mean, I read about them in books.

'What's with the form of address?' Uni asked next.

'It's a form of address used in the Heavens. Anyways, secondly, the forms you CPUs obtained, Next Forms, was it? It's actually a transition form. Since it is obtained through using the Hyper Share Crystal, by making a more advanced crystal called the Legendary Share Crystal, you can obtain the forms known as the Final Forms.'

'What's that?' Noire asked.

'They are forms that brings your power up to maximum potential. Pretty powerful, and you can possibly take down Rei-sama, the strongest CPU, by yourselves individually, without any help. Though that only holds true if Rei-sama is in her HDD, or, at most, Next Form. Last but not least, Fusion. By altering your auras to the same wavelength, you can possibly combine with each other. With this, for example, Neptune-sama can use hers and Noire-sama's powers at once. Though Noire-sama can refuse, causing nothing to happen. By the way, what I've mentioned, CPU Candidates can do as well.'

'Cool…' Rom and Ram both said at the same time.

'So, that was my True Power?' Blanc asked while glaring at me, as if to see my reaction.

'Yes.' I simply said, recalling to the time I broke my wrist when trying to knock her out, while she came out unscathed. Her power seems to be some kind of body reinforcement, although I'm not that sure since to know about the power's nature, one needs to test out its capabilities and limits by using it in mock battles at the very least. Blanc nodded after my acknowledgement, showing her satisfaction in learning the reason why she took no damage from that exchange.

'Anyway, enough dilly-dallying! Let's get to Virtua Forest and train!'

'Hey! Derrick! You do realise you ruin my party right! And it's currently the middle of the night! Because of you, my sweet Compa had to get a half-awake Iffy and ride her bike here to take care of you! Now they're asleep in my room! Don't make me nep you up!' Neptune-sama scolded me.

'Ah...so that's where Compa-san is huh…' I decided to go back to sleep soon after that. I retreated back into the guest room and upon closing the door, I laid limped in the bed. As I closed my eyes, I remembered. The pains I had to go through to get here...their faces...their blood...their screams of agony…

'Seline…' I muttered as I wandered off into darkness.
