Kai's pov...
"Hey honey, go pretend to skate elsewhere.", Some dark haired moron says.
" Well I'm not your honey rookie, and I've seen better moves on an elephant.", I say emotionless. I watch in pleasure as he looks angry, "awe did the baby get mad."
"What would a girl with a Hello Kitty toy clipped to her backpack know about skating!", he says an I smirk as I grab my board as show him what a pro looks like. When I come gliding by the punk I' m knocked off my board as the creep, poor sport hits me off with his board an his buddy catches me trying to restrain me.
"Hey let go you punker!", I growl as idiot one grabs my face.
"To bad your face is so fugly, I want it to be an example when I mess it up more.", he says punching me.
" Why because you skate like a hippo.", I say out a swelling eye as he pulls his knife. I choose this moment to headbutt the punker holding me busting his nose so I can block the blade from hitting my face and knee him in the groin before I grab my board and take off.
I look behind quick to spot his buds chasing me. I speed ahead as a car door opens knocking me down hitting one of my bruises.
"Kai!", shouts Hikaru's voice as he crouches to my level with Kaoru, and I'm thankful my hair hides my black eye.
"Hey there's the skank!", shouts the first punker causing the twins to turn as I jump up ignoring the pain ready to kick there tails.
And to make it worse I need to eat soon.
"Come here you little woofer so I can put you in your place.", he says as I glare.
" Your just sore a chick can outskate you.", I say.
"Boys grab the whore. I'm gonna mess up her face some more and make her moan like the slut she is !", he says as I feel Hikaru and Kaoru place me behind them protectively.
" You shouldn't talk to a lady like that.", they say at the same time, "Especially our friend"
At said moment the punkers were surrounded by Kyoya's rent a cops.
"Great timing Kyoya.", I say.
"Well I didn't want anyone hurt.", he says standing on the other side of the limo.
At that the punks are taken away, and I relax and now I can feel the pain.
The twins turn to me as Hikaru places a hand on my shoulder and another pushes my bangs aside as he looks angry at first, then his eyes soften.
"It's really bad isn't it?", I say trying to read his eyes.
" You should take Kai to the infirmary.", Kyoya says at which Hikaru picks me up and his brother grabs my backpack and damaged skateboard.
"Thanks guys.", I say leaning into Hikaru "Sorry if I got blood on you."
"Blood?", he says and I lift my cut arm making him look concerned.
He takes me to the infirmary and the nurse cleans up and wraps my cuts or puts band aids on, and then hands me an ice pack for my eye.
After he walks with me to the host room where the guys swamp me wanting to know what happened. Hikaru guides me to a couch where I explain what happened, and all the guys look upset as Hikaru scoots closer.
"You look pale Kai", he says.
"Low sugar.", I say at which Kyoya vanishes and returns with a coke to which I nod thanks. The hosts take turns hovering over me as they change into they're cosplay, and I have to admit they do look hot. Although Hikaru glared at anyone else who tried to take his turn. Eventually two chicks in fugly uniforms arrived and after Tamaki made a speech worthy of Disney they insulted him.
To me it was like bla bla bla, I hate guys. Bla bla hate guys being flirty. Then some other chick brought in my cousin and was all over her making me wanna hurl my Happy meal. (Don't judge, they had Hello Kitty toys)
The actions upset Tamaki who rushed to Haru but the chick punched him. This of course ticked me off.
"Hey Chica, that's my friend, you hit him again, or anyone else I'm gone use that ugly dress to string you up!", I say.
"Kai! Your face!", Haru says.
"Long story", I say maintaining an icy glare.
"Awe another maiden and this ones been totally corrupted.", she says "We'll save you and take you too."
"Fudge off! You attacked and insult my friends, your on my crap list. Not to mention I'm in college.", I say
At that point Haru hands the twins her bag and leaves the room and the twins go through the bag while, the ladies make long speeches, that Renge chick comes from the floor spouting info, and I move to sit by the Ds playing twins leaning against Hikaru whom puts his arms around me protectively and leans over as we watch Kaoru play. At some point Tamaki burns himself and Haru treats it, Haru gets mad over a dumb pencil and storms out with the chicks.
At which the guys panic that she might leave.
"And if Haru leaves Kai won't visit.", Honey says as the guys look at me watching them.
"Even if my cousin does leave you guys are still my friends, and as long as I'm still welcome if she leaves I'll keep visiting.", I say which causes a group hug that hurts my bruising but Hikaru and Kyoya break it off so the pains not to bad.
I eventually gather my bag and my damaged board wondering how it broke, how I was gonna fix it or if I had funds to fix it.
Time for odd jobs.
"Kai, can we give you a ride home?", Hikaru asks.
"Sure that be great.", I say with a grin before kissing his cheek.
We leave last cause the twins did a costume check for the next day.
"What a waste those Lobelia girls were of our costumes.", Kaoru says disapointed.
"Well for what its worth I though you all looked dashing.", I say grinning as we exit.
"Really",Hikaru says.
"Sure you can rescue me anytime Hikaru.", I say.
" It's still weird you can tell us apart.", Kaoru says.
"Not when your friends with two sets of identical twins. Back in my states due to homeschool they were the only kids I played with, and only cause we were on the same block.", I say smiling as I take Hikaru's arm.
The ride home was fun and I wonder if Hikaru realized his arm was around me.
Not that I minded, I know I have a crush on him not that i'll tell.
Hikaru's pov...
We walked Kai to the door, and she invited us in and the first thing we see is a photo of a young Kai with a cake, and a set of identical girl twins and a set of identical boy twins. "That was my 7th birthday.", she says before shouting. "Mom, Dad I'm home!"
And in enters a similar looking blond woman from one room and a muscular blond man.
"Hey sweetie, we heard about the fight.", the woman says looking over Kai's face.
"How?", she asks.
" A mr. Ootori called.", the man says.
"Oh, well mom, dad these are my friends Hikaru and Kaoru Hitachilen.", she says taking my arm.
"So your from the Host Club Kai's been talking about.", her dad says " I'm Akira, and this is my wife Iris." as he shakes hands with us.
"I'm gonna throw my crap in my room, Dad don't eat my friends.", she says giggling as she leaves us with her parents.
"Well sit down, its not everyday Kai brings company.", her mom says. "Its so nice of you boys to help Kai out today, and in so impressed that you had enough manners to walk her to the door."
"Thank you mam, you have a very nice daughter.", Kaoru says.
"And her smile lights up a room.", I add.
"Hmm Kai's right, Hikaru's voice is deeper.", Her dad says as I stare. " What, Kai talks about you most." As I blush.
She really talks about me most. The thought makes my chest tighten.
"Hey guys.", she says plopping on the couch by me. "Daddy some gross girl was hitting on Haruhi and I nearly lost my happy meal can we have pizza for dinner.", she says with puppy eyes that rival Tamaki's. Im almost ready to call myself.
"Sure why not.", he says pulling out his phone.
"Dad sells and fixes cellphones.", she says "and designs, Kyoya's dad hired mine to design a line of smartphones"
"Wow, so Kai gets her smarts from you.", Kaoru says as her dad gets off.
"Actually its a joint effort, Kai's mom's a teacher.", he says " specializes in people like Kai, whom is a prodigy."
Eventually what Kai called a Hawaiian Pizza arrives and we move to the kitchen to eat and play Apples to Apples for a few hours.
She even saw us out when we left.
"Thanks for hanging and everything else guys, this was fun.", she says hugging each of us but she lingered on mine. And to be honest i held her there longer myself.
"Hey you like Kai a lot don't you?", my brother says as we ride home.
"Yea, she's amazing.", I say
"
And she talks about you most.", he says ", and she can tell us apart. So she's not like girls who want either or both. She sees you as you."
"Your right she's not a toy, she's becoming important to me, and she's not dumb like some people. ", I say. " She's Kai, she's special. I hated seeing her hurt, and when that creep slandered and threatened her I wanted to kill him. "
"Looks like we'll be seeing a lot of her then.", says my mom startling me as i look up.
"Even though she's a commoner.", I ask.
"Any girl that can break into your world is worth more than her weight in gold. And I more than approve of her and cant wait to meet her.", she says smiling.

Kai's pov...
After a goodnights sleep, an a hot shower I felt energized, and since I was ahead on school work I decided to go visit the guys incase Haru made a dumb choice.
I headed there on foot because my board wasn't fixable. I put on a sparkly pink skort and a black hello kitty shirt with a pink lacy vest with sparkles. I then leave my hair down and put on a sparkly pink cat eared head band. I wanted to look extra cute today, for Hikaru. I got to the school after dropping at a nail place for a manicure since I'm goin for cutesy.
When I arrive those chicks from lobelia are talking with Haru. "Ah our other maiden is hear ready to transfer", she says.
"What are you smoking? I clearly told you i'm not in highschool anymore. And you abused my friends. So screw off!" I say
"Kai!", Haru scolds ,"What would your dad say?"
"He'd say here's some pocky.", I say pushing the door open as we walk through.
At the opening I heard opera singing as suddenly all the guys but Mori are in dresses. Then Tamaki goes on about this freebie thing.
And I'm cracking up too hard as the twins and Honey chase a laughing Haruhi. I kept laughing as Haru explained she wasn't going then the short haired chick grabs me, "At least i'll rescue this one.", she says making me flip moods.
"Get the flipping car key out of your ear and keep your hands off me you stupid leech!", I yell. "I wouldn't go to your school for nothing!" At that i use a free arm and backfist her causing her to let go.
"These men have perverted you, we will save you I swear.", she says and they finally leave.
"So Kyoya whats up." I say watching the others talk and laugh.
"Your a surprising lady Kai.", he says.
"Is that good or bad?", I ask watching the others.
"I haven't decided.", he says...
