And without further ado the secret lies with Charlotte revamp chapter three. To be honest not a lot was changed in this one but there is subtle changes please tell me what you think.

The water shimmered magically, like it often did as the girls heads popped up. Well this is just perfect. What are the odds I would have to deal with this today of all day's. From the safety of my hiding place, I guessed it was pretty high. Seeing as I went to not one, but two of their favourite places. I can literally hear my heart racing a million miles a minute I just hope they don't hear me or see me.

Okay Charlotte like earlier calm down quiet breaths, that's it. Now just ever so slightly spy on them.

"Beat you again" I heard Emma beam. "As If" retorted Rikki as she splashed Emma, "I so beat you".

Thats Rikki for you always has to be right or win.

"Whatever Rikki, why don't you just admit that I am a faster and a better swimmer than you, then I won't have to prove it every time I beat you to the moon pool" Emma snarked back with a smug look on her face, "never" Rikki challenged.

A couple minutes passed and Rikki and Emma where still debating which of them was the fastest, when finally they called it a tie, in my opinion I always thought that Emma was the fastest, Rikki is just stubborn and doesn't know when to call it quits or admit when she's wrong.

After the bickering finally stopped, Cleo spoke for the first time since they arrived " if you guys are done, I have something kind of big to tell you" The two blondes fell silent waiting for what cleo was about to say, so did I, well more silent then I was, due to the fact that I didn't want them to know I was there.

Cleo continued with her story once she knew that the others were going to keep quiet, "you are never going to believe who Lewis and I saw today at the juice net...Charlotte" my eyes flew open at the mention of my name and I moved even closer to the girls, while making sure that they wouldn't see me.

Which let me tell you was not an easy task.

"WHAT" Emma and Rikki exclaimed in unison. Come on it's not that big a deal I'm a person and I like to eat what so weird about that. "Well did she say anything to you" Emma asked. "No she didn't, I didn't even know she was in there until Ash pointed it out to us, then Lewis went over to talk to her."

It, IT, be cool girl be cool.

"Wait a minute Lewis went and talked to her, WHY! What on earth possessed him to do that" Rikki exclaimed. ugh she makes my blood boil, ironic that. Seeing as she can actually make some ones blood boil, literally.

"I don't know, but once Ash told us that she was over there Lewis asked him if she seemed ok, Ash told us that she was kind of out of it and that she was quit rude to him" Cleo explained.

Okay first of all I was not rude, he was impatient and shook me seconded of all where was I going with this, maybe it's the hormones that are running the show now that pissed me of quicker than I'm used to. Hey I could have fun with this hormone thing like completely blow my top at someone and than just go sorry hormones, a small laugh escaped before I covered my lips and hid.

Thankfully the girls were to engrossed in there gossip session to notice, thank god. Deeming it safe I turned back to listen in.

"After that Lewis just got up and walked over to her, he didn't even tell me why, he just said I'll be back" Cleo continued.

That's interesting I wonder why he didn't say anything to Cleo about why he came over to see me it's not like he said anything out of the ordinary, he only asked how I was, maybe he was worried about me, I smiled at the thought.

"So what happened while he was over there" Emma asked. "I don't know he didn't say anything when he got back to the table he just gave me a kiss on the check and sat down" Cleo replied.

"Well did you know what they where talking about". Rikki asked, "Like I said I don't know but I kept a close watch on them mostly Charlotte" Cleo answered.

"Jesus Cleo there's no need to sound so jealous, I mean it's not like she is going to get Lewis back after what she did to you, after what she did to us" Emma exclaimed.

Well there goes my felting happy mood, thanks Emma. Though she does have a point why would Lewis ever want to get back with me, and carrying his child does not mean that we should get back together staying together for the sake of a kid is not a reason to be together.

"Emma. This is Charlotte we are talking about, let's not forget she locked you two in a shed and made a pipe explode so you two wouldn't be able to celebrate Lewis's birthday, practically stole Cleo's locket while it was still on her neck, and last but not least, and this is my favourite tried to make us lose our tails and powers, so I wouldn't put it past her Emma" Rikki shrieked.

Well in my opinion she shrieked. What? come on like you've never over exaggerated about someone you didn't like before.

"I suppose you have a point, but Cleo and Lewis have known each other for years they have history what does Charlotte have" Emma replied, "thanks guys for putting the idea that Charlotte is going to Steal Lewis away from me, really appreciate it" Cleo whined.

Emma and Rikki both swam over to Cleo "No don't you see Cleo we're saying that we wouldn't put it past her to try, but because you and Lewis's love is so strong, she wouldn't be able to so don't worry" Rikki reassured her.

After that they all started laughing, and I couldn't help but get angry at everything they had said slowly my hand's started to curl into fist's and the water in the moon pool started to steam up.

"Why are you doing that Rikki" Cleo and Emma questioned through fits of laughter.

"I'm not at least not intentionally" Rikki insisted.

Did I just do that ?

I felt my nausea returning, and with as much stealth as I could muster I ran from the moon pool, my hand in front of my mouth, then once I was clear I threw up into the bushes the rest of today's lunch.

As I reached the shore of mako where my rental boat was I realised that it was starting to get late, I didn't realise how long I'd been out but before I got home there was one thing I had to check.

Have I got my powers back? As the sun began to set I tried to find a pool of water where I could test my theory.

Once I found a small pool of water between some rocks I held out my hand using the motion that I used when I still had my powers, but nothing happened. I was sure I had heated up the moon pool before, then it hit me I used Rikki's hand motion, so placing my hand over the water again I began to slowly close my hand into a fist, the water began to bubble and evaporate.

I can't believe it! I have my powers back!

I have my powers back. ok char don't get over excited that's only one of them, lets see if you can freeze, again I placed my hand over the water using Emma's power the water began to freeze. Oh my god! okay, okay be cool, ha sorry lame joke.

Now controlling water for the last time I put my hand over the pool and began using Cleo's hand movement the water started to rise and kept rising until I took my hand away the water falling back in the pool, this was amazing I had my powers back. Well not all of them I still needed to see if I would become a mermaid again.

As I made my way back to the boat I took my shoes of so that I wouldn't get them wet and placed them on the sand near the boat ok, this was it time to see if I was a mermaid again. walking towards the sea I put both feet in the water.

I peaked through one eye looking down at my feet, huh. A few more seconds past, nothing!, I don't get it I have my powers back so why don't I have my tail?

Unless.

I looked down at my still flat stomach. It's couldn't be, could it. Maybe these weren't my powers after all, maybe they where the baby's, but are just getting channelled through me.

Okay this is just freaky I need answers and there is only one place I'm going to get them. One person who knew more about mermaids than even Lewis.

But that will be a mission for another day, because I don't know how much more I can take today, what with finding out I'm pregnant and possibly to a magical baby, my mind can't take much more of this, so I called it a day and made my way home. Returning the boat first of course.

As I got home I smelt the the strong sent of my mums homemade veal parmigiana, a usually delicious smell which I used to love but know made me want to gag, opening the front door I called out to mum expecting her to be in the kitchen, it's odd that she isn't.

Seeing the fresh veal laid on the counter I went over to have a bite like I always do before mums says it time to actually eat, and even though the smell was affecting me I still had a bite which was a bad Idea, because the moment I ate it I knew I was going to throw up.

Again.

Bolting upstairs to my bedroom so I didn't get it all over the floor, but on the way up it subsided thank god. I really don't know how much more of this I can take and if my calculations are correct I have about eight more months of this, great.

I think it's time for a nice long shower, as it seems that someone doesn't want me to eat, so going it to my room I start to make my way to my ensuite, before I notice my mum on my bed.

"Jesus mum you scared me." I jumped.

And I had good reason to be scared. Because in my mums hand was the pregnancy test that I had foolishly left on my bed. mum looked up from the pregnancy test to me.

"Charlotte. What on earth is this"
