A/N

I got a lot problems by having both Schnee's in the team. Some of you need to calm the hell down. I have already pointed out some differences between Winter and Weiss using there semblance. Now, I have not gotten to the main difference of Weiss. This will be explained soon, just have patience.

I dont have a decision on Pairings yet, so I'm open to opinions, however, when the time comes if I decided to, NO Oscar. While Oscar may be the same age as RWBY, I find it extremely awkward that people ship them since Oscar is just a reincarnation of Ozpin. It's just too weird for me.

I dont own RWBY

Summer Rose stood opposite of her long lost daughter. Oh the things she would do to Raven when she got her hands on her, how dare she kidnap her little rose.

"I suppose I should be surprised about meeting you...but truth be told, the moment I came here I expected it." Ruby said.

Summer smiled, she could see a familiar shade of red looped around her waist, "you still have it then."

Ruby's hand gripped the belt she had fashioned out of the cloak she was wrapped up in when her mother had taken her, "what can I say. Red suits me."

Summer's grinned widened, "that it does. How have you been?"

Ruby smirked, "fine."

Summer sat down next to the fountain and patted the spot next to her. "So, I know Yang already asked you, how did you change so drastically? When you were born you were like a carbon copy of me."

Ruby sighed.

0000000000000Flashback

A younger Ruby was currently in survival training, her mother would drop her off in a random place in the woods to make her find her way back, when suddenly she was attacked by a massive Grimm horse...but this grimm also had another one sticking outside of the back.

The fight lasted for awhile, but Ruby couldn't seem to put a scratch on the thing. At least until a massive pain erupted from her back, she screamed and collapsed, Ruby laid there and watched whatever freaky grimm this was walk away. Coughing up blood her vision began to fade as she heard flutters, "you know my Rules, Ruby, you only get once."

Raven began fo pump her aura into her daughter. She couldnt really blame Ruby for losing that fight, she had never seen a grimm like that, plus it was clearly ancient with how it reacted In that fight. She shook her head and returned to healing her daughter but once it became clear that she would never make it like that she narrowed her eyes and began fusing her own aura with Ruby's. As the two aura's mingled Raven Marveled at the wellspring of aura Ruby had, then felt faint, Ruby's aura was consuming her. She watched through blackening vision as Ruby's wound shut and then felt Ruby push her away, "you moron! Why would you attempt an aura link?!"

Raven panted and her eyes widened, as she watched her own aura that was left within Ruby, which was most of it, mix and alter her daughter, her hair curled and lengthened, instead of just the tips of her hair red, she had red streaking down her hair, like hers but it was lighter than hers. Ruby was already taller and her eyes had a red tinge to them, but with a slight flash of silver light they were back to normal. Then she noticed a slight increase in her daughters chest...her aura was placing some of her own features into Ruby...then her eyes widened whe she felt her curse...it was still there but it was weaker, almost like an actual semblance now, she didnt feel disgusted at the feeling anymore. Testing it she shifted to a raven and back again. Then her eyes widened when when a small red Tanager was where Ruby was, she could do that too. She felt an immediate disgust with herself but buried it underneath.

"I dont think either of us can make it back safely like this, and I dont have enough aura to make a portal left, let's go." Raven said and Ruby was in place of the tanager and nodded.

Summer was at a loss for words, "the chances of even one person surviving an aura link is unheard of...but both is near impossible. A part of your soul must have kept a piece of Ravens safe and when you were strong enough, you must have knocked her back by sending it back to her with some of her aura, it can only be reasoned that she got something from you."

Ruby nodded, "her prowess in weapon smithing increased, and she can alter her perception of time. I can manipulate time period, but when she does it, it just speeds up her thoughts and senses, I've seen her training with it, she was attacked once with a gatling gun, she dodged every bullet, it was incredible.

"Something like that though...it couldnt have worked smoothly."

Ruby shook her head, "I was bedridden for a solid month...in utter agony, I found a few years later that Ravens soul had altered me on a biological level, only the strong survive, so the weak was utterly destroyed inside of me. I was on a mission in Vaccuo...and I got curious, I went to a doctor and she did the parental test, by taking a portion of aura you can identify where it was originally created. Its how I found out you were my real mother, but the weird thing that startled the doctor was, there was no trace of a father in my aura, instead the test came back as my being the daughter of Summer Rose...and Raven Brawnwen. Absolutely no trace of whoever knocked you up."

Summer ignored the blunt statement, that was all Raven and she got used to it when she was in school, but the fact that she was no longer the daughter of her and Tai...she wasnt sure what to make of that. "Interesting. So, you two accidentally found part of a solution for homosexual girls to having children without the help of a Male."

Ruby nodded and pulled out a cylinder, "yep. I worked it out a few years ago. One female offers an egg, then both females pump there auras in. The aura acts as a sort of artificial fertilizer. Then it's just a matter of injecting the egg into a female, there by impregnating her."

Summer was stunned, "why would you actually look into that?! Raven I can see doing that but...are you?"

Ruby smirked, "I do prefer the sheath to the sword, but i dont mind either."

Ruby idly listened to Ports class, it was boring to say the least. At least it was mildly entertaining watching Winter's sister get pummeled by a boarbutusk. "Your sister seems to be a little cocky."

Winter nodded, "it's our father, he always tended to make her strive for perfection. She's obsessed with it now."

Ruby raised an eyebrow, "perfection is an impossible dream to achieve. Its a construct to work towards, never achieve."

Winter shrugged, "it's all she knows. Our training was different. I trained underneath mother, she taught me to use my semblance, which is why I can summon monsters, albiet not perfectly, but I can and she can not. Wait...what is that?" Ruby turned back to Weiss and noticed a new glyph in the air, it was flaming and had a fireball launched out of it. The fireball knocked the boarbutusk on its side and Weiss finished it off.

"Hmmm...it seems that your sister reawakened the original Schnee family semblance." Ruby said.

Both Schnee sisters looked at her funny, "what?"

"The original was Glyph creation, your ancestor had it, she created gravity, summoning, time, and some of the other ones that I cant remember the name to, however, her descendants were ONLY able to use the glyphs already created. Not since her has it been seen, until you Weiss. You accidentally created a new glyph, a fireball glyph. You created fire without the use of dust, if will take time, but eventually you will be able to create a whole new plethora of glyphs, that eventually, Winter will be able to use." Both girls were stunned.

"And how do you know that?"

Ruby shrugged, "I read up on special cases of hereditary things, my eyes were one of them, but all I found was a bunch of myths, but, I became fascinated with your semblances, the only known hereditary semblance. Here." She pulled out a file she had created on the ability. Weiss took the file and skimmed through it, there was things in here she never knew about her families semblance.

"So, if I can tap into this ability...I can potentially create anything."

Ruby nodded, "personally, it would be helpful to create a communication glyph, that way we dont have to use our scrolls in the middle of a mission."

Weiss held up a hand and a glyph appeared in her hand, "...so, I have something that no Schnee has had since the beginning?"

Ruby saw what Winter was saying in her eyes, "yes. You may not have Winters natural talent in using her semblance, or her skill in mastering the different aspects, but that's because of your abilities are more geared towards creation, not use. Your special Weiss, you just discovered your unique ability, now, you need to master it. Something that puts makes you worth your name, not the perfection your father puts on you, not the fact that you can use certain aspects better than Winter, but your ability to use it in unique and new ways."

Weiss had tears in her eyes as she dashed out of the room. With this, she would never be compared to her sister with her better use of there semblance. Now she could stand on her own, it felt nice. She shut the door and collapsed the on the ground, "thank you Ruby...I dont know how you knew all that but now...maybe I can be myself finally." She pulled out her scroll, "mother? I...I found out something about myself today."

"What is it?" Willow asked as she smiled at the daughter she abandoned to her husband.

"I have the glyph creation."

Willow stiffened and smiled widely, "incredible Weiss. We are going to have to train together, I cant do it...but i do have notes written by our ancestors."

Weiss smiled tears running down her face, "I'd like that..." Weiss finally got to be with her mother, who favored Winter over her. Life was finally looking up, she could finally say that she was happy that she didnt make leader.
