3rd POV:

After a miserable Power Placement, in Will's case, it is finally lunch. Zach is going on and on about how Boomer made a mistake about putting him in the sidekick class. "That is not cool! I'm telling you, Boomer is gonna regret making me a sidekick. Someday, it'll be dark, he'll be all alone, walking to his car, he'll drop his keys, and I won't glow to help him find them." Zach was ranting to Ethan, a smaller Freshman with glasses, who is also sorted into the Sidekick class and can melt into an orange substance. "You got a problem with me?" he heard a familiar voice and when Will and all of his friends turned around, it's Boomer.

"No.," the taller blonde boy says as he is getting intimidated. "No, what?" Boomer asks. While Zach is repeating "No, sir.", Boomer is shifted into one of the Freshmen that was sorted into the Hero class and that can morph into other people. "Just messing with you, Sidekick," he says, snickering. "You're not supposed your powers outside of the school gym!" Ethan exclaims after him.

Throughout the announcement that Principal Powers made, Will and his friends composed of sidekicks found a table to sit at. "Okay, am I crazy or is that guy really looking at me?" Will asks as he glanced behind him. Everyone else looked and saw that it was Warren Peace that is glaring at him.

"Dude, that's Warren Peace," Zach says, warily. "That's Warren Peace?" Layla asks in disbelief. Only she knows that he is best friends with Haven, while Will only knows that his cousin is best friends with some guy named Warren.

"I've heard about him. His mom's a Hero and his dad's a super Villain; Baron Battle." Layla states. "So where do I come in?" Will asks. "Your dad busted his dad, quadruple life sentence." Ethan states. "No chance of parole till after his third life." Magenta adds in. "That's great. It's my first day of Sky High and I already have an archenemy." Will says.

While Warren is glaring at Will, he is snapped back into reality when a certain raven-haired best friend sat down at his table. "Can you stop glaring at my cousin for five minutes," she says in disbelief. "You know what his dad did to my dad," he says to her. "And I know what your dad did to my parents, but I looked past that." she reasons with him. "It doesn't matter, Haven. Besides, your cousin also seems like a little bitch," he says, and to that, Haven couldn't help herself with agreeing with him.

As much as she loves her cousin, he can be a little bitch at times.

"Is that your cousin sitting with him?" Zach asks. Will turns around to see Warren finally not glaring daggers at him anymore but talking to Haven as if they are friends. "Why is my cousin sitting next to him?" Will asks. "I thought you knew that Haven and Warren are best friends." Layla wondered. "Yeah, but I thought it was a different guy named Warren." Will hissed.

That just made his day a whole lot worse.

It got a little better when he ran into the beautiful and popular Gwen Grayson. But it was thwarted when he ran into his cousin's psychotic best friend. He ran into the bathroom, and just to find Ethan shoved out of one of the stalls, and it was by the two Sky High seniors that were trying to scam money from him and the rest of the Freshman.

"S-See you. Thanks for the swirlie." Ethan says, nervously, as he runs out of the boys' bathroom. "Sup, guys?" Will says, feeling the same nervousness as his orange-clad friend did. "The kid, uh, looked a little dehydrated." Speed says as he and his best friend was looming near towards Will.

"How about it, Stronghold? Gonna hang with us this year?" Speed asks the smaller boy. "Gonna help us bring some pain to the Sidekicks?" Speed's tall best friend asks. "Th-That's sounds like...fun," Will says. He didn't know what to say about that, considering that a) he doesn't have his powers and doesn't want to get hazed by the two older boys and b) all of his friends were sorted into the Sidekick class.

"Good man. See you around." Speed says as he is leaving the bathroom. Lash got close to his face before leaving, but before he left the bathroom, he stopped himself and turns to Will. "Oh, and Stronghold, what you just saw with that Sidekick. Don't mention it to your cousin, if you know what I mean." Lash says before he finally leaves the bathroom.

Will rushes back to Power Placement. "Where were you? You were almost late!" Layla whispered, harshly. "Got held up at the bathroom." he quickly says as his mind is now going back to what Lash said about Haven.

Why would Lash care about how Haven would react to hazing?
