A single tear trickled down Alicia's cheek, and she felt the blood rush from her face, leaving her complexion white.

He can't be finding out about this now! I need time to get my shit together and figure out how I'm going to raise another child, possibly alone! Oh God, I hadn't even considered that. Does Will even want kids? What if asks me to abort? Would I do that? Or what if he hates me so much that he never talks to me again? I just…I don't….I'm not ready for this!

Alicia was panting hard by now, and her one tear had turned into full on sobs. She felt her knees about to give in, but right before she could crumple to the floor, Will cradled her like a baby and carried her to the couch. There, he sat with her on his lap, his arm wrapped around her like he'd never let go. For a few minutes, they stayed in complete silence, Will stroking Alicia's hair as she tried to stop the tears from falling. Then, with water-glazed eyes, Alicia glanced up at him and in the quietest, most fragile voice Will had ever heard from her, whispered, "So you aren't angry with me?"

Will frowned at her statement but then quickly switched his expression to an ear-to-ear grin.

"Alicia, you have just given me the best gift I never knew I wanted. You are growing a being inside you that's half me and half you. I'm going to get to be a father to a beautiful baby boy or girl and have you, the love of my life, as its mother. What is there to be angry about when your life is that perfect?"

Alicia was uncontrollably smiling now, too. Her tears turned into those of utter happiness, and as Will used his thumbs to wipe away the water droplets, he was taken aback by beauty. Even with mascara running down her cheeks and her hair a frizzy mess, she was flawless. How did I get so damn lucky? he thought.

He couldn't hold back any longer and leaned in to close the gap between them. Will kissed her lips with both a sense of passion, as if he needed her to survive, and a sense of tenderness, as if she was made of glass. And it was then that he realized something.

"No matter how much I try to deny it, I love you, Alicia," Will said.

"No matter how much I try to deny it, I – ," she started to respond but instead threw up on Will.
