Konoha' Demon Wolf

Summary: A 9 year old Naruto was not having a good day. He just escaped a mob that was chasing him and wound up in the woods. After a while Naruto hears something and turns around only to be bitten and begins to change. However, that is not the only thing changing but also the Kyuubi is also changing. Naruto is changing into a werewolf but thanks to the Kyuubi goes one step and tunes him into an Alpha, while the Kyuubi turns from a nine tailed fox into a nine tailed wolf. How will Naruto deal with the transformation and what will happen to Konoha?
Chapter 2: Training & Attack
-Hokage Tower-
Hiruzen Sarutobi sighs as he stares at the mountain of paperwork on his desk. If there's one thing he despises more than anything, it's paperwork. It's every kages mortal enemy. Oh, how he wishes he could just burn the stacks to ashes, while laughing like a madman. Sadly, that can not be. So, with a heavy sigh, he picks up his pen and starts on the first form. At the same time there's a knock at his office door. Sarutobi has never been happier in his life right now. He didn't have to do the dreaded paperwork for a while long and hopefully not at all.
"Come in," he says eageredly, before calming himself down.
The door opens and s women at least five feet and five inches tall, enters the room. She has long red hair that reaches all the way to her butt. A lovely heart shaped face with luscious lips. Her eyes are a light chocolate brown. She wore a standard chunin's outfit, but in different colors. Her entire outfit was completely black and she had a sword strapped across her back. Her name is Natsumi Uzumaki also known as Makina Huyga of the Huyga clan. Her friends call her Sumi, it's her nickname.
'Ah, Natsumi. It's nice to see you," Sarutobi says smiling, "What brings you here?"
"Hokage-sama," Natsumi says.
Immediately, Sarutobi knew this was serious. Natsumi only ever called him by his title when there was a serious situation going on. Losing his smile and cheerful demeanor, Hiruzen becomes deadly serious. He quickly goes through several handsigns, activating a privacy seal in his office. Then, he focuses back on Natsumi.
"Speak," he says.
"Hokage-sama...w-we have a problem."
-With Naruto-
Heavy breathing can be heard as something crashes into the ground. Naruto leans against one of the many trees surrounding him as he kills his third scorider. A mix between a scorpion and a spider. It has eight eyes with silted pupils. Its eyes are black and red, with the iris and sclera being black and the iris being red. It's at least three feet long and two feet tall and instead of six or eight legs, it has ten. Two of which are the claw pinchers that scorpions have. Then, it has a scorpion's tail that not only shoots web, but acid too. Also it has poison for blood and can spit acid. It has an armored shell with spikes on it in random places, mostly down the spine. The color of it is all black, making it hard to see at night. And despite its size, it can move really fast. Its reflexes, senses, agility, and strength are unreal. Which is why the kyuubi is having Naruto fight a nest full of them. They're the prefect specimen, not including the other beast inhabiting the forest, for a werewolf to fight. Even if he's only ten years old.
"Man, this is tough," Naruto thinks, "No wonder only Jonin and above can fight theses things and live to tell the tale. And even then, they don't always make it. Why am I here again?"
"To learn control," Kyuubi growls, reminding him for the third time.
"Oh yeah, now I remember."
-Flashback-
It's been nine months since Naruto's transformation and since then he has changed. His senses have increased in strength again. Then, there was his new found strength and speed. He could outrun the mobs now without breaking a sweat. With his new strength, he can fight off three grown men by himself. Still, there are drawbacks. His uncontrollable anger, being one of them. It causes him to lash out at people, something he'd never do. Currently, said person had just outrun another mob. "That's the fifth one today," he thinks, "What's with them today?"
"Hmm, it's probably because you actually fought back last time," Kyuubi tells him.
"You'd think that discourage them, not encourage them and I had no control over that. I just snapped."
"And that's why you need to learn control. Granted I hate those hairless apes, we don't want you drawing attention to yourself this early."
'Yeah, yeah, yeah...I know already. And news flash I already have a lot of unwanted attention."
"You know what I mean, now get moving brat and hurry it up."
"Annoying fox," he grumbles, "Why do I have to go to the Forest Of Death anyway? You never told me what you wanted me to do there."
"Yo'll find out when you get there. Now go!"
"Fine, whatever you say."
-Flashback end-
When Naruto reached the forest, he followed kyuubi's directions to a clearing, deep in the forest. At first he couldn't understand why he was there still. There was nothing there. At least he thought that there was nothing there. That is until he felt like he was being watched. Extending his senses like kyuubi taught him, he discovered that there was something hanging high above him. He tensed at the realization of why he was there and leaps back. At the same time, whatever was watching him decided to strike. Too bad it missed and when it landed, Naruto got his first look at what he was supposed to be fighting. The legendary scorider.
The sound of hissing snaps Naruto back to the present. He ducks and flings himself to the left following his instincts. Dodging acid spit that was aimed at his head and a claw pincer aimed for his abdomen. Naruto gulps, realizing he almost got himself killed.
"These things can't kill you dumbass!" Kyuubi reminds him.
"Oh yeah...but it'll still hurt like hell!"
"Then,don't get hit dumbass and you might want to move."
Immediately, Naruto's attention snaps back to his current situation on his hands. Just in time to catch the three feet long, two feet wide and three feet tall claw coming down at his head. His knees nearly buckle under him from the force behind the claw slamming down on him, but he held his ground. Too bad scoriders have two claws. Using its other claw, the scorider slams it into Naruto's side, sending him flying through one tree and into another. Naruto lets out a grunt of pain as hits the second tree and falls to the ground. Grinting his teeth together and fighting against the pain, Naruto stands slowly.
"Man I need to pay more attention and stop kidding around or I'm gonna get myself seriously hurt. Screw if it heals, it'll still hurt like a bitch. Especially since it's acid and poison."
Sighing, Naruto closes his eyes and remains completely still. So, believing that he had given up, the scorider approaches him eageredly for its meal. Too bad its no smarter than a dumbbell, otherwise it would have noticed the change in the air. The air around Naruto had become thick and filled with malicious intent. Naruto's hair becomes feral and more wild looking. His nails elongate turning into claws. Behind his lips, his teeth followed the same course, becoming fangs. An aura of darkness seems to roll off of him. It seemed to make the air around him dense and hard to breath, but the scorider noticed none of this. Suddenly, just as he's in reach of its deadly claws, his eyes snap open. Instead of his normal curlean blur, they're silver with a red silted pupils.
Unfortunately, for the scorider, it had only now just noticed these changes and the danger it was in. Too little, too late. Faster than before, Naruto struck with brutal force. His fist slams into the side of the scoriders head, sending it flying back into the clearing. It lands on its back, but quickly flips its self over. It turns its head in Naruto's direction, hissing. Only for Naruto to appear right in front of it. He grabs both of its legs just behind the claws and slams his foot into its face. At the same time, he yanks the legs viciously away, thus ripping them both off. Purple poisoned blood, flies through the air as the scorider cries out in pain and fury. It's silenced by Naruto piercing its head with its own claw. Naruto sighs as it falls down dead, before turning around to face the others. In front of him stood five scoriders, glaring and hissing at him, full of fury,
"You want some?" he growls, "Come get some!"
The scoriders hiss and run at Naruto. Naruto smirks, before running towards them. Unknown to him, he was being watched. Five pairs of eyes watch him fight the scoriders from the confines of the forest.
-Hokage Tower-
"What is it?" Sarutobi asks.
"It's about Naruto and the hyuga."
This caught Sarutobi's interest. "Continue."
"The conflict between the two has grown. Hyuga have become more desperate and restless in their attempts to assassinate him. They've tried everything from poison laced with silver and mobs to blowing up his apartment with him strapped inside."
"I suspected it was them, ever since they saw Naruto with Hiashi's Daughter, Hinata, who they claim he attacked. His life has gotten worse. Still, I need more proof."
"You have me hokage-sama. After all I am a hyuga."
"True, you are."
"Also I must inform you that it's more than just that and I have kept it from you for a while now. Naruto is no longer human. ...He's a werewolf. I know this because I was there when he first shifted and killed a mob as well as three chunin level hyuga in self-defense."
Sarutobi Hiruzen was in a state of shock and that's putting it lightly. He knew about werewolves, he's not called the professor for nothing. Still, never in his life would he have thought that Naruto would or could become one. It was just so shocking and unreal. "Naruto, my boy," he thinks, "What has become pf you? Why did you not tell me? Are you that afraid of what I would say? Do?" Question after question ran through Hiruzen's head and before he could question Natsumi, he felt a chakra signature spike in the distance. It was gone as soon as it came. Locking eyes with Natsumi, he knew she sensed it as well and both of them recognized it as Naruto's chakra. Quickly, they shunin towards the location they felt the spike come from, thinking, "Naruto-kun/san. Pleas be alright."
-Forest of Death-
Naruto leaps into the air, over the first scorider in his path. He slams into the second one and uses his claws to pierce through it's chest, before tearing it in two. The third one hisses at him in rage, he had just killed its mate. It swings its tail at Naruto, who leaps over it, only to nearly get impaled by the fourth scorider. Luckily, for him, he twisted in mid-air, so he only got a small cut on his side. He lands on all fours, growling at the scorider, who hisses back at him. Thus, a stand-off begins.
Naruto eyes the scoriders warily, waiting for one of them to make a move and for the gash on his side to heal. His eyes are no longer silver with a red silted pupil, they're blue with a black silted pupil. His skin had also begun to change color. It begin to gain a gray-ish tint to it, not a lot, but it was still noticeable. The scoriders start to notice the change in his appearance as well as his chakra signature. To them it only made him an even bigger target. He was worth prey for them and their queen. Hissing loudly, all three remaining scoriders lunge at Naruto. Naruto grows frustrated that his wound hasn't healed all the way yet, thanks to his new found werewolf temper, but decided it was good enough as the scoriders lunge at him. So, he lunges at the scoriders in return.
Slamming, into the third one, Naruto performs a hand stand on its chest and kicks the other two in the face in mid air. The third snaps its claws at him and Naruto pushes off its chest, dodging the attack with a back flip. Using the flip to his advantage, he slams the heel of his foot against its head, sending it to the ground. The other two slam into trees and use web to hang on to them. They hiss at Naruto and start spitting acid at him. Naruto twists in mid-air without even looking at the scoriders, dodging the acid. He lands with a roll, right next to the third scorider as it begins to flip its self over.
Not letting it even reach half way over, Naruto strikes. His fist slams into its face with tremendous force, cracking its skull. Then, he grabs two of its legs and tears them off. Using them as spears, he rams one through the scorider's gut and the other through its had. Then, he spins, grabbing it by the legs, and lifts up the dead scorider. He tosses it into the other that just shot acid at him. It collides with the other two and all three fall to the ground. One stuck under the dead body. Naruto smiles at this. His excitement is cut short though, by Kurama.
"Stop fooling around kit," he tells him.
"Huh, why?" Naruto questions.
"Because we're being watched."
"Watched? ...By who?"
"By the feel of their chakra, I'd say it's the Hyuga. Five of them. All anbu class."
"Shit! Then, I really do need to end this now."
"Then do so!"
"R-right!"
Not one to waste time when things get serious, Naruto rushes at the scoriders. He's upon them before they can even make a move. With a swipe of his claws, he cuts both scoriders into pieces. Then, without missing a beat, Naruto runs into the forest. He doesn't get far as he senses several jutsu coming at him. Forced to, Naruto leaps into the air to dodge the attacks. A shadow figure appears above him too fast for him to catch a glimpse of who it is. The heel of the figure's foot slams into his face, sending into the ground. The impact5 was not a pleasant one for him.
A crater forms under Naruto as he lies in the ground. Naruto slowly stands as he pops the kinks in his back, wincing in slight pain. Suddenly, he picks up the sound of sizzling paper. His head snaps down to see a paper bomb about to explode right under him. Time seemed to slow down as he lifted his head back up and looks around. He can see even more surround him, in the crater and one on each tree near him. Only one thought went through his mind right then. "Sh-" and the tags exploded. Trees snapped in half and fell to the ground, covered in a fiery explosion.
"Ahhhhhh!" Naruto cries out as he's engulfed in the explosion and trees collapsed on him.
Five figures land on some trees outside of the explosion, around the damage site they created. They waited for the last of the smoke to clear, while the sensory type joined them. As the dust cleared, they saw no signs of escape, but they needed to be sure.
"Bat," one figure, male, says, "Check if the target is still alive."
"Yes sir," Bat replies
Closing her eyes, bat tries to sense out Naruto's chakra signature. She locates him in less than thirty seconds. "He's still alive, sir," she reports.
"Persistent little shit, " he comments.
"Who you calling little shit?" Naruto asks, his voice echoing around them.
Looking down at the pile of trees, the six Hyuga watch for any sigh of life. With a roar, the trees explode in the center if the collision. There stood a battered, bruised, and bleeding Naruto Uzumaki. He was breathing heavily as he glared at the team of Hyuga. His skin had started to turn even more grayish. He growls up at the Hyuga.
"I said, who you callin' little shit?" he repeats.
"You, you little beast." the leader replies.
"Come and say that to my face. I dear you."
"Baka," Kurama sighs.
Wordlessly, all six Hyuga disappear from the trees. Naruto stands still, trying to locate them. His eyes dart around looking fir any sighs of them. His ears straining to detect the smallest of sounds they may make. He got nothing. Just total silence. "Where are they?" he wonders.
"Below you!" Kurama shouts.
Immediately, Naruto leaps into the air. Too bad, he didn't leap fast enough. A hand shoots out of the ground and grabs him by the ankle. Naruto is slammed back into the ground and thrown into a tree. As soon as he hits a tree, ninja wire begins to wrap around him. He growls as he's bound to the tree. Glaring ahead, he sees all six hyugas appear wearing anbu masks. One with a bat mask, another with an Owl mask, then Snake, Hawk, Tiger, and Lion. The one with the lion mask walks up to him. Naruto glares at him, his fist clenched. Lion stops in front of him and slaps him across the face.
"Wipe that look off your face," he orders.
Naruto continues to glare at him.
"I said," he knees Naruto in the gut, causing him to gasps for air, "wipe that look off your face. Beast."
"Kit?"
"Y-yeah?"
"Play it cool, for now. You need to stall for time, help is on the way."
'W-who is it?"
"Your hokage and someone else."
"Jiji-san? O-okay, I'll try."
"W-what do you guys want?" Naruto asks playing dumb.
"Don't play dumb with us," Lion orders, "You know why we're here."
"Of course, " drops the act, "but. why? Is it because I'm a werewolf or the nine-tailed fox's jinchuuriki?"
"...S-so, you know about the fox," Lion says after a few seconds.
"Yup," Naruto says with a smile, "You could say me and him are getting real 'close'. I mean pretty 'close', if you catch my drift."
"What are you doing?"
"Trust me, okay?"
"...fine."
"Enough of this. We have a job to do, sir," Owl says.
"Be quiet," Lion orders, "How close are you with that s cursed demon?"
"I gay," Naruto says plainly, "and we've been fucking each other inside the seal for about a month now. He's really good in bed."
No one had a response to that. This information shocked them and threw them for a loop. Even Kurama was at a lost for words and he knew it was a lie. Naruto smiles at the momentary shock. Taking advantage of their shock, Naruto adds more chakra to himself. His skin turns completely gray, looking like glowing silver. His jade blue eyes appear to glow as well. With a mighty roar, Naruto snaps the wire binding him to the tree. This snaps everyone back to the task at hand, but it's already too late. Striking fast, Naruto kicks lion in the chest.
Caught off guard, Lion is sent flying into Snake. Snake catches him on impact, but slides back a bit. Naruto flips on top of the log he was just tied to with a snarl. Immediately, the hyuga draw their weapons: swords, kunai, shuriken, and a battle axe. All completely made out of silver. Mentally, Naruto curses.
"Shit," he thinks.
"Stall them," Kyuubi tells him, "Your hokage is almost here."
"Sure, but they have silver weapons!"
"I can see that bake! You'll just have to make sure not to get hit by them. I haven't finished changing your DNA enough yet, so it can still kill you."
"Thanks captain obvious! Anything else I need to know?!"
"Yeah, it's the only thing that can kill you right now and you might want to duck."
"Wha-"
Instinctively, Naruto drops onto his stomach. As he hits the ground, Owl's battle axe passes over him. Quickly, Naruto kicks-up and flips backwards, putting distantance between him and the hyuga. Or at least he tried to. While he flipped back, the hyuga leaped forward. Letting go a string of curse, Naruto realizes he'll have to fight them until Sarutobi Hiruzen gets to him.
"This is bad," he thinks, "These guys are way above my level and with that silver, they're even more dangerous."
"Not to mention that you haven't train to use three tails of my chakra yet and it's going to cause serious damage to your body or you'll lose control and go on a killing spree. Either way your screwed," Kurama adds.
"Shut up," Naruto replies simply.
Unfortunately, Naruto knew that Kurama was right. He couldn't stay like this for much longer or the results could be disastrous. Deciding that Kurama is right and he doesn't want to find out what happens if her stays as he is, Naruto goes back to two tails of Kurama power and stands his ground, preparing to fight. The six hyuga land in front of him, weapons poised to strike.
"Finally, decided to stop running, have you?" Snake asks sarcastically.
"Yeah," Naruto replies anyway, "I figured you'd just keep following me until you caught and killed me, so I decided to beat you guys into the ground and then leave."
"Don't take us lightly brat," Hawk says arrogantly.
"We're not like the team you butchered during your first shift," Tiger adds.
"I do-wait...what do you mean? I didn't butcher anyone!"
"I'm not surprise you don't remember," Lion replies, "After all it was your first shift."
"Y-you're lying!"
"No, I'm not kid. You may not wanna believe it, but you did. We collected the bodies. Face it gaki, you're noting but a menace. You should just lay down and die. Just let us end your wretched existence."
"N-no...I-it c-can't b-be true.-I-it...j-just cant't!" Naruto thinks in denial.
"Is it true, Kurama?"
No reply.
"Answer me damn it!"
"...Yes."
Naruto's eyes widen in shock. His legs give out on him and he falls to his knees. Tears fill his eyes and run down his cheeks. Never in all his life did Naruto think he'd kill anyone. Sure, he hated the villagers for what they've done to him, but he'd never kill any of them. The sound of a blade being drawn caught his attention, but he didn't move. He already knew what was coming next. His death.
"Move!" Kurama shouts at him.
"No," Naruto says, "I'm a monster. I deserve to die."
"Remember our pact! You're honor bound to live. If you want a family, you have to live!"
"Why should I? No one is going to want a monster in their family."
"Damn it gaki! Move!"
Naruto continues to ignore Kurama's orders for him to move. He closes his eyes and waits for the blade to end his life. Though, instead of feeling his flesh burn as the silver blade struck him down, he hears metal clashing with metal. The sound left his ears ringing and skull pounding. His eyes snap open and he sees Natsumi blocking Lion's katanna with a kunai. Though, she is struggling to keep him at bay.
"Fire Style: Dragon Flame Bomb!"
At the sound of the third's jutsu, Natsumi disengages Lion. She kick-flips backwards and grabs Naruto. She shunins away from the just as the jutsu came down on the hyuga. Luckily, for them, all six hyuga used kaiten at the exact same moment, just as the jutsu was going to roast them alive. Unfortunately, for them, Naruto and his companions had already escaped.
"We must report this to Hiashi-sama," Snake says.
"Let's go," Lion orders.
Using shunin, all six hyuga vanish without a trace.
-Hokage Tower-
Natsumi sets Naruto down on a couch Sarutobi had brought in. She looked at Naruto from behind her rabbit mask and her eyes soften. The pain in his eyes was as clear as day as he stared into open space. 'Naruto," she thinks sadly. Hiruzen walks in and sees Natsumi looking at Naruto. He sighs, pretty sure he knows why Naruto was behaving the way he is. Closing the office's door, he preforms several hand signs and casts a silencing jutsu. Then, he walks over to Natsumi to help with Naruto.
"Naruto-kun," he starts to say.
"Jiji," Naruto interrupts, "I've killed people...haven't I?"
Sarutobi sighs. "Yes, Naruto. You have.," Hiruzen tells him.
"I see. So, I am a monster.'
"No, you're not," Natsumi interjects, " You're a werewolf. You're someone who can become more than just human, but still human at the same time. What others tell you doesn't matter, it's what you believe that matters. Yes, you killed people, but not by choice. You're life was threatened and your wolf fought back. If it happened again, what would you do?"
"I-I don't know."
"That's not good enough."
"I said I don't know! What more do you want me to say?!"
"The truth."
"The truth? You want the truth?! I'll give you the truth! The truth is that I don't know what I'd do or what to think anymore. I'd like to think that I wouldn't kill them, but if it was me or them...I'd mostly choose me. And I don't know if I want to survive in this world. I may have to kill in order to do so. A-and...I-I don't want to! I don't want to turn into a monster!"
"You'll never be a monster, Naruto-kun," Hiruzen tells him, "You're you and nothing can change that."
"B-but...I..."
"That does not matter. What matters is what you do with what you've been given," Natsumi adds.
Tears fill Naruto's eyes and he flings himself at Hiruzen. He wraps his arms around him and sobs into his hokage robs. Hiruzen hugs Naruto back and pats his back. Slowly, Naruto begins to calm down. When his cries have become sniffles, Naruto pulls away from Hiruzen. Hiruzen hold him at arms length and smiles down at him.
"Jiji," Naruto mumbles.
"Yes?" Sarutobi asks.
"I-I have to tell you something."
'Go ahead, Naruto-kun. You can tell me anything."
Naruto nods absently and moves to sit down. Hiruzen lets him go and sits at his desk. Natsumi choses to stand next to Naruto. Taking a deep breath, Naruto begins to tell them everything that has happened over the few years. From him getting attacked by an angry mob to his encounter with the wolf in the Forest of Death. To when he spoke with kyuubi, who's name is Kurama, to their current situation. The whole time, Hiruzen patiently listened to him. When Naruto was done, he spoke.
'Naruto, your situation with the k- I mean Kurama, worries me, but I trust you, so I'll let it go," Hiruzen tells him, "Also I think it's time I told you the truth."
"The truth?" Naruto asks, confused.
"Allow me," Natsumi says, "Naruto there's a reason why the fourth choose to seal the nine-tails inside you. (pause) You're the fourth's son, Naruto."
"I-I...'
"Yes, you're the son of the fourth hokage, Minato Namikaze."
"W-why?!" Naruto demands, "Why did he seal it into me?! What was he thinking?! Did he consider what would happen afterwards?!"
"Naruto-san, I can understand you're anger, but-"
"No, you don't! You can't possibly begin to understand or imagine hoe I feel right now! All my life I've been beaten and hated! People glare at me with disgust and contempt! And all I wanted was to know why?! But when I find out, it's because of something out of my control! Something I never asked for!"
Naruto falls to his knees and weeps. Natsumi takes off her mask and walks over to him. She warps him in a comforting hug and he flinches.
"It's alright, Naruto," she says assuringly, "You have every right to be anger, but we need you to understand. Your father loved you. You were his world. You and your mother. But how could he ask someone else to sacrifice their child, if he wasn't willing to do the same. He died to protect you and this village, Naruto. Of course, the village's people have wronged you, but you're not alone."
"You have the hokage, Ayame-san, Tuechi-san, and now me. We will always be here for you. As will your father. He may not be here with you physically, but he'll always be here with you spiritually. That's what it means to be the hokage. To protect those precious to them. That's also what it means to be a parent. Giving your life fot the ones you love, if necessary."
Her words caused Naruto to slowly relax in her hold.
"And he wasn't the only one to die to save you. Your mother, Kushina Uzumaki. did so as well. Both of your parents loved you so very much, that they were willing to die for you. They believed in you, Naruto. Always remember that."
Naruto nods his head, rubbing against Natsumi's chest. His tears have all dried up, but still he was sniffling. Natsumi cradles Naruto to her chest and stands. His breathing starts to slow down, but still he clutches onto her tightly. Realizing that Naruto had fallen asleep, Hiruzen decides they were done for the day. Nodding, Natsumi disappears with Naruto, using shunin to take him to her home.
