2 Days Later

"You can't be serious." Zenkei said to Rias sitting next to Rias. "What do you mean Zenkei?" Rias asked innocently, causing Zenkei to facepalm. "Don't play stupid, it doesn't suit you." Zenkei stated seeing through her act. "I saw your familiar giving Issei a summoning paper." The teen explained, not believing she was doing this. "Are you sure you want to do this? I know it's none of my business but do you think the pervert is a good choice for your peerage?" He questioned. "Normally I wouldn't explain myself to anyone, but seeing as we are friends i will." Rias started. "That power you pointed out within him seems to be some kind of sacred gear.." She continued before being interrupted by the teen once again. "So that's why you were so interested in him." Zenkei pointed out. "Yes, power like that could be a good thing to have on our side." Rias finished explaining. "Sure it could but- wait did you just say our?" Zenkei asked, realizing her strange choice of words. Just then the teacher walked in, starting the lesson. "We'll talk about this later, but I still don't know if it will be a good idea to bring aboard a person with such a lack luster personality." He said quickly. "It may be a little too late for that now Zenkei." Said Akeno, who was strangely quiet up until this point. "Akeno!" Rias exclaimed, glaring her queen. "Oh my god, you didn't! " Zenkei exclaimed surprised at the rather extreme decision of the redhead, causing the teacher to stop instruction and address the trio. "Does there appear to be a problem, Mr. Okami?" She asked professionally. "No, ma'am." Zenkei groaned before looking at Rias and mouthing "this isn't over".

At Lunch

Walking into the club room behind Rias and shutting the door behind them, leaving only him, Rias, and Akeno, he began his interrogation. "What happened? Did you really need to kill him for your power trip!?" Zenkei sternly questioned. Sure he loved violence as much as the next battle-maniac, but this seem like a bit much even to him. "First Zenkei relax, I wasn't the one who killed him." Rias said making the teen in front of her visibly calm down. "Then what happened, and don't think I forgot about your little 'our' statement earlier." He questioned again, though this time with his usual calm demeanor. "A fallen angel, though not the one who attacked you, approached him three days ago and asked him on a date." Rias started. "Being the pervert he is, of course he jumped at the opportunity without a second thought." The princess continued. "Of fucking course he did." Zenkei mumbled, knowing where this was going. "At the end of their date, she killed him in an attempt to capture his sacred gear." Rias told the teen, who shook his head in disappointment. "And you showed up and reincarnated the poor bastard, didn't you?" Zenkei asked rhetorically, receiving a nod in return. "Fucking terrific, now on to matters involving me. Why did you refer to him as being useful to us?" The yokai questioned, wondering how he fit into all of this. "Simple dear Zenkei." This time it was Akeno who spoke up. "We were talking with SirZechs and he thought Rias should try to recruit you into her peerage." She explained as Rias looked down in shame, expecting him to refuse right away. But much to her surprise he didn't immediately storm out or blast her with his blue flames. "Rias look at me." He said in a soft tone he usually reserved for people he cared a great deal about. Looking up she was shocked to see he wasn't glaring at her but instead had a gentle smile on his face. "Do you want me to join your peerage?" He asked, looking into her eyes with his golden orbs. "M-My brother feels it would be-" Rias started before he cut her off. "No I could care less about what SirZechs feels." Zenkei said bluntly. "What do you want Rias?" He asked again, still making eye contact with the redhead. "If you want to I would like for you to." She replied meekly. "Then I have two conditions. One is that you don't try to control me simply because I am part of your peerage, if I wished to be treated like a dog I would wear a collar. Two is that, I don't want to do devil contracts, I am more than confident in my ability to make high-class though strength alone. Are you ok with these requests?" Zenkei asked after listing his requirements. After thinking for a moment Rias nodded before quickly moving over her desk and hugging the yokai. "Ara Ara, it seems Rias has developed a crush on you Zenkei." Akeno giggled causing the redhead to turn the same color as her hair before moving back behind her desk just as quickly as she had crossed it. "Akeno!" Rias squealed causing Zenkei to burst into laughter, only for the bell to ring making him stop and stand up. "Well time to go back to class i guess." Zenkei sighed as he walked toward the door, only to realize that the girls weren't following him. "Go ahead Zenkei, we need to go to the underworld to inform my brother of your choice." Rias informed him, getting a nod as a sign that he understood. "Oh and one more thing. When you come back after school can you bring Issei with you?" She called out. "Sure." Was his only response as he walked out of the building.

After school

When the bell rung Zenkei began his walk to class 3-b to retrieve a certain perverted brunette. "It's the King Of Kuoh!" A random girl exclaimed, making the yokai sweat drop at the title. "King huh?" He mused to himself before remembering why he was there. Walking up to the perverts who had been glaring daggers at him since he arrived, he quickly shrugged off their stares and said "Issei Hyoudou, Rias Gremory requests your presence." in the most official manner he could without bursting into laughter. "R-Really?" Issei asked not believing his luck. "First a girlfriend, now Rias. Fuck it must be my lucky day." The pervert mused to himself following the dark-skinned teen to out to the abandoned school building. "He must think he's about to get laid right now." Zenkei chuckled to himself, looking at the excited grin on Issei's face as the entered the old building. "Ah now that everyone is here we can begin." Rias announced as they entered. Zenkei took a seat next to Koneko, who had grown quite fond of her fellow yokai throughout the short time they had known each other. "First I would like to introduce everyone. This is Koneko, Zenkei, Kiba, Akeno, and my name is Rias." The redhead introduced as everyone greeted the brunette in their own way. "Everyone this is Issei." She then introduced the boy, who waved meekly. "Issei, I have a question." Rias started "Do you believe in the supernatural?" Rias asked. (A/N: I'm gonna go ahead and skip the explanation of the supernatural world and devil society and the great war, yadda yadda yadda. Honestly if you're reading this you probably watched the anime and know it, and if not what the hell are you doing with your life dude? Go watch it then come back and read this.)

Timeskip

"Wait so you want me to believe you're all devils?" Issei asked, his head still spinning from the information he just received. Suddenly everyone, except Zenkei, sprouted leathery bat wings from their lower backs. "Do you believe me now Issei?" Rias asked the boy with a smirk. "No way this is real, it's just like with Yumi I'll wake up and all of this will be a dream!" Issei exclaimed not believing his eyes. "Except Raynare wasn't a dream and neither is this." Rias said before pointing at the brunette's back making him scream in shock seeing the same wings coming out of his back as well. "Wait why doesn't pretty boy over there have wings!?" Issei asked stopping his panic for a second. "Because I'm not a devil yet pervert." Zenkei replied flatly. For some reason being called pretty boy by Issei didn't rub him the right way. "What do you mean yet?" Now it was Kiba's turn to look confused along with Koneko. "That brings me to the next matter of business, Zenkei and I have come to an agreement that would benefit both of us." Rias explained before looking at Zenkei to finish explaining. "I agreed that it would be best for me to join Rias's peerage as her second rook, under specific conditions that we both agreed upon." The yokai explained before catching a red rook piece Rias had thrown at him and pushing it into his chest. After a brief period of bright red glowing, the light died down to show Zenkei with a pair of black devil wings along with two fox tails swaying behind him. "Zenkei have you always had two tails?" Akeno suddenly asked drawing a confused look from the teen before he turned to see two black tails waving behind him. "HOLY SHIT!" Zenkei exclaimed before wincing in pain at having used blasphemy. "Damn devil weaknesses." He mumbled under his breath, holding his head with his hands. Seeing this caused everyone to laugh except Issei, who just looked more confused than before. "Wait why does he have tails?" The perverted teen asked. "Well while there are the three races, there are also many more from many different religions. For example, Zenkei here is a Kitsune Yokai from Shinto mythology along with Koneko who was originally a Nekoshou, a type of Nekomata." Akeno was the one to explain this time. "Cool, hey Koneko do you think I can see you tails as well?" Issei asked excitedly. "Not on your life pervert." Came Koneko's monotone response. "Ouch, I know that hurt." Chuckled Zenkei as he fistbumped Koneko. "Watch it dog-boy!" Threatened Issei angrily. "Unless you want to die again, and permanently this time, I suggest you never say that again." Zenkei said in a cold voice that promised pain if Issei challenged him again. "That's enough Zenkei, Now everyone it's time to fill your contracts." Rias stated as everyone save for Issei and Zenkei entered a magic circle and teleported away. "Issei since you don't have any contracts, you'll be handing out these flyers." Rias said producing a large stack of flyers. "Damn sucks." Zenkei said putting his feet on the table im front of him and closing his eyes. "Don't get too cocky, you're a new devil too so you're going to be doing this too." Issei said sporting a look of victory, only for it to be crushed when Rias corrected him. "Actually, he doesn't have to do contracts. He insisted on using this time to train instead." Rias informed the brunette. "But don't worry if you do good enough at this you may surpass him and have servants of you own in no time." Rias continued trying to motivate the young pervert. Sadly all the brunette heard was "Sell souls, build harem, touch my breasts Issei." to which he responded "YES PRESIDENT!" before sprinting out to pass out the flyers.

Aaaaand done. Sorry about the wait guys, but you know how school is. With the teachers trying to drown you in homework and then test and- know what nevermind, not my point. Ok I got this chapter done and im gonna try to get the next one out in hopefully the next two days. Anyway don't forget.
