The Dork Case fails

A/N: Well dayum, I haven't updated this in what? Over a year? *Ducks speeding boat* well I have a good reason *Ducks oil tanker* well not really but this chapter has a fight scene in it so...WHOA *ducks submarine ah space shuttle*

And don't worry Gry27, are you a mind reader by any chance? O.o Aerrow and Starra will find out later and stuff WILL happen with Starra's powers to the both of them and at last, Midnighter12 and Guests, you have your update

As soon as Dark Ace gave the order, half of the Talons flew towards her and started blasting but Starra easily deflected them before flying straight ahead at a Talon

'I bet he'll blink first' She thought and grinned as, indeed, the Talon swerved left and crashed straight into another Talon destroying both of their rides

'They always blink first' She allowed a smug smirk to flash across her face briefly before pulling up

The Talons, being mindless and idiotic soldiers, followed her in a spiral thinking that she was trying to escape but Starra, being the Sky-Knight of the legendary Terra Marina and being last of the Elpines (She had yet to figure out what their political and power ranking they had) had a plan

Grinning a little at what little challenge the Cyclonians had in them, she set her Skimmer on auto-pilot before setting the command for it to fly straight. True most Skimmers didn't have auto-pilot but she adjusted hers so that it was keyed to her blades which she had on all the time and it would always come to hey of activated or is she'd set specific instructions for it

Bravely leaping off of her Skimmer and tucking into a flip after feeling weightlessness for a moment she took her blades out and sliced the wings off of each of the remaining Talons that were stupid enough to try and face her in combat before landing on her Skimmer turning it back to manual

'Losers' She snorted as some of the 'Elite' force of Cyclonia had been reduced to the cowards they really were

Without further ado, she flew back to the Storm Hawks who were currently engaged in combat with the rest of the Talons who were being defeated quickly

Glancing to her left, Starra was met with the sight of the Dark Ace taunting a glaring Aerrow

Starra then caught their attention as she fireda silver blast at him before flying over next to Aerrow so grinned at her

Starra returned the grin easily before turning her attention back to the Dark Ace who was seething at her

"You should be in the wastelands now, how-?"

"How did I defeat your Talons?" She finished for him smirking "It was simple really, I honestly don't know why you Talons are said to be 'Elite', all I see is a bunch of class A Losers who have nothing better to do than be defeated by a couple of teenagers plus I'm a Sky-Knight so I'm not exactly easy to take down"

"Oh, so you're a Sky-Knight are you?"

"Duh, I just said that"

"Rude little girl. A little young are we? Youth usually equates to inexperienced fighters and defeat. Well then where's your special move?"

"It takes am of you to take down a little girl like me? A little old are we, Dork Case? Old age usually equates to getting your butt whooped my special move is reserved for those who actually deserve to see it and you, Dork Case, don't"

With a roar he charged forward blasting Aerrow away so he couldn't get involved and attacked her

They traded blow for blow and she matched him with as much force as he was putting in as they attempted to out-do each other in tactics and aerial combat

'I guess all that training done back on Terra Marina really does pay Off... This is going pretty well' Starra thought as the Dark Ace launched himself into a backflip, body and sword crackling with red electricity before swinging his blade down releasing a blast of nasty looking energy her way

'Really? That's his move?' Starra reached into her pouch and removed a bright red crystal and a swirly navy blue crystal

As the bolt of energy came closer, she raised the crystals above her head and clanged them together causing an instant flash of bright neon blue light

Starra was aware of Piper and Aerrow's panicked shouts as well as the shocked yelling of Finn and the Wallop whose name she learned was Junko

When the light cleared she was still flying good and smirking at the seething Dark Ace

"Really? Is that the best you've got? My friend with one eye can do better than that and here was me actually thinking that you'd be a challenge. It's such a shame, Dork Case, I actually had high hopes for you" She taunted shaking her head in mock disappointment "And you wanted to know if I had a move? Well this is my move"

Blue energy bubbled out of her skin and Starra launched herself into a front flip before raising her blades and slashing them in an 'X' shape sending a light blue bolt of energy in his direction

Unfortunately for him, it hit his Skimmer and with a look of shock on his face, the Dark Ace fell as his Skimmer failed him only to be saved by his parachute

This was the second brat to defeat him, the Dark Ace was so angry that he roared out of complete rage and frustration at the Red headed girl Sky-Knight who was joined by her male counterpart

"That was awesome man! He was all like 'Youth means you lose and whatever' and you were like 'Nah, I'm playing this cool and old age means you get your butt whooped' and the look on his face when you did your move which, by the way, was awesome, was hilarious!" Finn slung an arm around her shoulder and grinned at the rest of the team

"Meh, it was nothing" Starra muttered shyly concentrating on the pattern of the floor "I've faced worse"

"Naw facing the Dark Ace takes a lot of guts and you didn't even damage your Skimmer!" Junko cheered slapping- no, whacking her on the back

"It wasn't that God"

"But you defeated the Dark Ace whose only been defeated by Aerrow and that thing you did with the Crystals- it was AMAZING! I didn't know you did crystal work"

"He was asking for it and I love working with crystals, there's so much you can do with them not to mention where they come from"

"That was a great fight and all but I wanna know how your hands healed so fast and how you're a Sky-Knight. Which Terra are you from again?" Aerrow looked at her curiously as if studying her

"I have an insane regeneration rate, I have no idea why but ever since I was young I've never had to go to a medic for anything, I just Hall by myself and I haven't the foggiest idea why. I'm from Terra Marina-"

"Isn't that just a myth?" Piper cut in frowning

"Yeah I've heard lots of stories about it" Finn added his two cents wokein while Junko and Aerrow nodded their agreement

"Myth usually means danger" Stork informed from his place at the controls "Not many people come back alive from expeditions to find mythical places. Even if they do, they can't tell anyone about it because of the irreversible madness that usually comes two days into the expedition"

"Trust me, it's no myth and it's not that dangerous...sorta and I'm the Sky-Knight there because over there things are a little...different to what they are here and I'm one of the best of the best of the best"

"It's real? Can we go and pick up some got chicks cuz I know that they're gonna love meeting the awesome Finnster. Chica cha"

"Terra Marina isn't found unless they know who you are and you can never find it unless the Terra wants to be found plus it's in a stage of political unrest so it's not exactly safe"

"So what about the legendary beast that Terra Marina is said to play host to?"

"Piper, do you know what an Elpine is?"

"Yep, they're seal masters who study the arts of the energies within our bodies and can craft it into fire, water, wind, earth, lightning, ice and other cool things and they can use it to attack"

"Uh huh and what can seal masters do?"

"They can do a lot of things but one of the main things they can do is seal huge things into anything"

"Well, I'm the last Elpine to be trained and I have mastered the arts of sealing-"

"Really?"

"Yep. Elpines also have to have good vitality just in case"

"I see. Hitachi said that you had to tell us something"

"Yeah I'm getting to that. You know that legendary beast?"

"Uh huh"

"Ages ago one of my ancestors sealed it within herself and it's been passed down through the generations and now..." she trailed off before whispering so that Stork being the paranoid Merb that he was, wouldn't hear and have an impromptu heart attack "I have it. I swear I do, it's part of why there's political unrest in Terra Marina. Some want to turn me into a weapon while others want me locked away but only a fair few want me to have a normal life"

"Whoa"

"That's so cool"

"Wow"

"Does it hurt?"

"No, not really, Junko and don't worry, the seal is stable and I could rebind the Demon if it tried to escape"

"Well any hater of Cyclonia is a friend of ours and any person who wins a battle against the Dark Ace is a Storm Hawk" Aerrow held out a hand grinning "Welcome to the Storm Hawks, Starra"

Starra made to Shake it but as soon as their fingers made contact a strange feeling of warmth and power surged from Starra's finger tips to Aerrow's filling them both with hope and courage but they yanked their hands away as soon as they felt the electric shock

They looked from their fingers to each other with a look of shock on their faces before saying simultaneously

"What was that?"

And there's your chapter and I know I'm evil for leaving it like this but it's currently *looks at the clock* Wow 06:52, I needs to be sleeping now and battery is at 4%
