The shower had felt like heaven they had so many different soaps and lotions some of them more potent than others so much so that they had made my nose curl they were so strong I decided to stick with a nice subtle rose sent. I stepped out of the shower wrapped myself up in a robe and went out to find my dinner waiting. A quick glimpse into his mind told me she was a thief of great skill and a murder to boot. I was rather hungry so I snapped her neck and had bitten into her artery before she even had the time to register that I was in the room. I was careful not to spill blood on the lush carpet god knows I wouldn't be able to replace it. Once my dinner was drained Jane came in and removed her for me after she handed me two bags and a shoe box hmm. "I guessed at your sizes I'm rather good at numbers so hopefully I got them right and you like them. Please forgive my actions earlier as I said I'm not use to vampires being immune to my ability, it caught me off guard. I shouldn't have been so rude to you please forgive me your Highness."

"Whoa, one I'm not a Highness. Two no biggie if I was in your position I would have done the same thing probably. Just be more careful next time ok? By the way why did you call me 'Your Highness' I'm not a princess or anything I'm just the Major and Captains mate."

"I'm sorry your highness please excuse me I didn't mean to keep you."

"But I'm not-" I start to say but Jane's already gone. I shake my head and take a look at what she's brought me and all I can say is damn sure as hell can't find this stuff in Wal-Mart. The two bags came from some place called A.M.R. while the box came from Gucci weird. Inside the first bag was a red lace mini dress that just barely came to the tops of my thighs and hugged my curves just right under the dress there was some lingerie from a boutique I couldn't pronounce but it to was red lace the bra fit perfectly as did the panties for which I was grateful its so awkward wear underwear that doesn't quite fit. The second bag had a matching clutch and three jewelry boxes one was ruby studs another a matching ring in a rose gold setting and finally to bring it all together a rose gold choker with a ruby pendent resting on the hollow of my neck. The entire outfit made me feel like royalty and it only served to be topped off with red six inch heels that had to have cost as much as my car back in Forks. Once I have everything on and I look at myself in the mirror I suddenly realize how much I don't feel like myself I mean give me sneaker jeans and a t-shirt not so brand name shit and I will be happy, but it's a gift so I won't insult my host by refusing to wear what they have provided for me. Suddenly there is a knock at my door and I turn to see my grandfather walking through the door.

"You look wonderful Isabella, and what you had said earlier about not being a princess you are incorrect you are very much a princess as my blood use to run in your veins meaning that you are a princess of the Volturi and the guard will always show you the respect that title demands. Now I trust your dinner was satisfactory and we won't need to stop for nourishment before we leave in the next few hours?"

"Yes dinner was fine I should be full until we get back state side. Thank you for the clothes they're wonderful I was honestly worried I was going to damage them some how in the process of getting dressed I'm still getting use to my strength and minimizing it so I can do the simplest things. I also wish to apologize nonno I know that by all rights I am a princess, but I don't like being called a highness or grace I'd rather just be plain old Bella."

"Oh my dear sweet Bella there is nothing plain or old about you, but if you don't wish to be called highness or grace then by all means tell the guard they will take your orders just as easily as they take ours now you needn't worry about that."

"Thank you nonno." I stepped toward him and embraced him a long hug and as soon as we touched I felt his powers seep into me, and when we pulled apart I to saw just how strong our bond was even though we had just met and it made me so happy. We just sat in my room talking about pretty much everything from my family mates and children to his memories as a human and what lead to him joining the Volturi. We had started broaching the subject of Carlisle and Alice when a knock came on the door.

"Enter." Marcus and I both stood as a rather large blond vampire with a sweet shy smile stepped into the room. With a quick bow to the both of us he spoke in a deep baritone voice;

"Master, your high-er I mean Bella, the cars are ready for transport and the Jet is fueled and awaiting our arrival."

"Very well thank you Felix we will be there in a moment." Marcus said briskly, dismissing him with a wave of his hand he turns to me and grabs my hand for a moment and no more than that just long enough to read one thought.

"Speak no more about Carlisle, Alice, or the Romanians your uncles are not to be trusted. Only my personal guards are coming with us this trip. Aro wants to collect you and your mates. Will explain on the jet Aro had his memory befuddeled as per my request thanks to a hidden guard you needn't worry yet."

I go to open my mouth to say something, but a look from him has me clamping my mouth shut.

"Let's get going nipote we need to leave now before the rise of the sun it wouldn't do for us to be caught in the sun your uncle is ever so picky about exposure."

"It's only for our safety brother please have a safe flight and let us be through with this disturbance quickly." The three of the hug then Uncle Aro and Caius come to embrace me wish a safe journey and to bid hello to the major and captain. I miss them I'm going to have to talk to that idiot alone when I get a chance.

"Hey Felix can I use your phone I have a family that's waiting to hear from me I haven't spoken to them in about two days and I left my phone with my idiot major."

"Here you are Bella." He hands it to me as I climb into the backseat and I dial up peter's cell.
