Finally, after so long, I posted a new chapter od this fanfic. Why did I take so long, you ask? Well, I have 5 another stories to write and unfortunately I'm not those kinds of people that can write lots of fanfics regularly. I take some time. And sometimes if you don't have the inspiration, there's nothing you can do.

Well, enjoy.

It had been several weeks since Jack, Miko, and Raf had been officially adopted by the Autobots. All (Cybertronians and humans) were coping very well with this new situation.

Of course, the situation was not 100% perfect. Every night Raf would had nightmares and to calm himself, he would sleep with Bumblebee. Miko was very emotional and sometimes she just have to see something sad scene to start crying. Jack looked normal but anyone who knew him saw that he was quieter than the normal.

["Ratchet, are you sure there's nothing you can do for Raf? He's even getting scared to sleep."] Bumblebee asked the doctor. The teens were at school and the Autobots were taking a small break.

"I'm sorry Bumblebee, but there's not much I can do. Especially since the problem is psychological. Honestly, what you're doing is the best anyone could do."

["Doesn't seem to be enough."] He replied sad.

"I know how you feel, Bee. Every time I see Miko cry I feel my spark tighten and I don't know what to do." Bulkhead admitted, "I try to distract her with something else but it doesn't always work."

"Nevertheless you two know how your partners are. I always could guess what Jack was feeling. Now I'm not sure anymore. And I'm afraid I'll say something that makes him more upset... I don't know what to do." Arcee also said.

"Do not say that."

"Optimus?" the three Bots raised their head, looking their leader.

"Even if the situation seems difficult, do not say that what you do 'is not enough', 'does not always work' and 'do not know what to do'. They have lost something very valuable and their lives will no longer be the same. But every effort we make to make them comfortable is never in vain. You all remember when we lost Cybertron; we also did not know what to do and felt hopeless. But we found a new home and new friends who stayed by our side. So we cannot give up, even if the situation does not seem so good," he said, wanting to cheer up his soldiers. The children still had a long way to recover from the trauma caused by MECH. In addition, he could not let their guardians feel unmotivated about it.

"You're right! Thank you so much, Optimus." Arcee thanked him, feeling renewed. Same with Bumblebee and Bulkhead. "We will not give up!"

"I believe I have an idea to help." Ratchet said and everyone turned to listen.

00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000

The three Autobots went out to pick up their partners at the school. When they returned, Raf left Bumblebee yawning and with dark circles around his eyes. Miko looked the same as always, but her eyes were swollen and red. As for Jack, he seemed normal but anyone who knew him would see how tired he was.

"How was school?" Ratchet decided to ask.

"Okay", "Boring", "Same as always" Raf, Miko and Jack responded respectively, without excitement "TGIF," Miko completed.

"Kids, I know the last few days have not been the best for you..." Optimus started to say.

'Hey, it could be worse; the three of us could be in an orphanage." Miko interrupted. No one would say she was wrong.

"Certainly. But we thought you might like to relax a little. Ratchet suggested we take you in a short trip."

"Awesome!" Raf exclaimed excitedly, his tiredness forgotten. The two teenagers became equally excited. "Where are we going?!"

"It's a surprise." Ratchet only responded as he activated the Ground Bridge "Ready?"

"Bring it on!" Miko shouted already inside Bulkhead.

When the humans and the Autobots passed through the portal, they went to... Alaska. "Cool! Snow!" Raf yelled jumping from Bumblebee. Miko did the same.

"Not wanting to sound like a killjoy, we will not be able to stand in the cold for long. Our clothes are not made for that weather." Jack remembered starting to shake, since Arcee could not protect him like the other Autobots.

"Don't worry partner, we already had thought of it." Arcee soothed him "Bee!"

The scout's trunk opened, and inside had three thick coats "Great! I wouldn't want to turn into a giant popsicle before I could enjoy the trip." The teenager commented running to put on his coat. The other two did the same. "I want to make a snowman!" Raf shrieked in a rush of snow, Bumblebee activated his holoform and ran after him. The other autobots also activated their holoformas.

"Uh... guys, again, I do not want to be the guy who always complains, but couldn't you change your clothes into something warmer?" Jack commented since the Autobots were still in their normal clothes.

"Sorry, Jack. It takes time to create new accessories. But don't worry, we don't feel cold," Arcee explained.

"I know that, just... never mind." He thought of explaining that seeing the Autobots in such cool clothes was making him shiver, but thought it would be complicated to explain and decided to ignore.

"Out of the way! Uncontrolled sled!" Miko screamed, passing through them so fast that Jack only had time to see a black, purple, and pink blur passing in front of him.

"Where did she get that thing?!" Ratchet asked, watching the girl drift farther and faster leaving a trail in the snow. Bulkhead said nothing but his expression spoke volumes.

"I think you better go after her Bulkhead. She can get hurt," Optimus suggested.

"I'm on my way. But what can happen?" The Wrecker asked casually... until everyone heard a loud thump followed by a cry of pain. "Never mind, I'm coming!" And start to run. Both returned shortly after, Miko had a beating on the forehead that was slowly forming a bruise, but she didn't seem so concerned about it "If it wasn't for that tree on the way I would have gone another twenty yards!" shouted.

"How about playing with something more quiet?!" Ratchet decided to suggest and avoid any more accidents. He had barely spoken this when a snowball struck the doctor's face full. "WHAT?! MIKO!" He shouted indignantly.

"It wasn't me!" defended himself. But a little behind her. Jack tried to disguise the flush of his face. "Very mature, Jack." Arcee sighed. And in retaliation, she threw a snowball into the boy's face.

That was enough to bring it on a great battle of snowballs. All Autobots with their partners and even Optimus joined with Ratchet in the "fight". They spent hours on it; it was night when they decided to go back to the base.

"Remember to wipe off the snow before entering the base; I do not want to clean the water later!" Ratchet warned. The others passed slowly over the ground bridge, not exactly because of what Ratchet had said, but because they did not want to disturb their partners who were close to falling asleep. "We have to do this more often," Miko commented, yawning.

"Maybe we should. But for now, you will rest. It's been a long day." Optimus replied with a small smile on his face. The three teenagers looked so relaxed.

That was the first of the nights Raf slept all night. And the next day Jack and Miko looked much more happy.

The three still had a long way to heal from their wounds, but as long as the Autobots were with them, things were sure to get better.

I confess that I'm not 100% happy with this chapter. I wish I could show more the snowball fight. Maybe I'll show in the next chapter. Probably.
