The next day, when I woke up, I felt much better. I thought the food poisoning for everyone was gone, but I was wrong. When I went downstairs to the living room, I saw everyone beating Elsword up.
"What are you guys doing? You guys are hurting him!"
"Hurting him?" Raven asked.
"Remember what he did to us yesterday," Chung and Rena added.
"Because of the stupid food poisoning, we all couldn't move yesterday"
"You shouldn't hurt him so much though," I said.
"Well, we're done beating him anyways."
"Since you food poisoned us and we still didn't recover yet. You're going to be our servant," the Elgang all said except Eve.
*Sigh* I guess they have all the rights in the world to make me their slave now, since I gave them food poisoning. I mean I don't mind being Eve's slave because she won't make me do embarrassing things, but the other five is a different story. Elsword thought.
"Umm...sure. I was my fault to begin with," Elsword sadly said.
"Okay, first go outside and buy these items," Rena handed him a huge scroll of things.
"What! So long," Elsword was shocked to see the list as an entire scroll.
"Are you complaining?" Aisha glared.
"No. No. It's just-"
"Just what," Aisha said with firm eyes.
"No. No. I'll go right away," Elsword hurried out the door.
"Wait! Take Eve with you."
"Eve, you're going to help him carry. Is it okay?" Rena requested. I knew they were up too something because Aisha and Rena were whispering to one another. But the only thing was I didn't know what they are planning.
"Sure, it's fine," I agreed to help. And so Elsword and I set off to buy the things on the list.
"Most of these items are grocery. The first item on the list is pocky sticks. Easy. We can find this at the supermarket."
"Elsword are we going to be taking the bus or car?"
"I don't like both of them that much. Is it okay if we take the motorcycle?"
"Motorcycle?" I said in confusion. What is a motorcycle?
"Yeah, motorcycle. It's fast and I'm a good driver."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes. At least I can drive."
"I'm in so much doubt considering the food poisoning incident that happened the day before yesterday."
"That's cooking. Hop on. I promise I'm much better in driving than cooking," Elsword handed a helmet to Eve and got on the motorcycle.
"Hop on where?"
"Behind me." I placed the helmet on my head and got on the seat behind Elsword. I felt like I can fall any moment. I didn't know where do I hold on to. This contraption is really weird and new to me.
"Hold on Eve."
"Hold on to where?"
"Me, of course. Where else?" I started blushing, lucky my face was covered by the helmet I didn't want Elsword to see me like this. "Is this your first time on a motorcycle?"
"Yes. I have never been on such contraption before in the past."
"You did in the past," Elsword mumbled so softly I was unable to hear at all.
"What did you say, Elsword? I couldn't hear you."
"Oh...nothing. Let's go. Grab on to my waist."
"Your waist?"
"If you don't your going to fall." I placed my arms around him. I felt awkward. I didn't touch him at all. I don't think I was not really considered holding on to him.
"Eve, not like that," he pulled my arms and wrapped it around his waist. "Like this. See. Now lean on my back. Make sure to hold tight or you'll fall."
My heart was beating so fast. I couldn't stop it. Elsword placed his helmet on and started the car engine. When we arrived at town, I saw a lot of people. I was so crowded. I got lost a couple of times, but luckily Elsword found me. We shopped and shopped for 3 hours and we only finished buying half the things on the list.
"Eve, are you hungry? Let's go get something to eat. It will be my treat."
"Okay. Where are we going?"
"Let's go to my favorite cafe. The desserts there are heaven." I smiled at Elsword when I saw Elsword's cute face. I suddenly remembered what Rena said to me last night when Elsword left. Rena told me I should get together with Elsword. I think she only said that because we are the only ones without a lover. I didn't think too much about it.
"Okay." When we got there we both ordered a dessert. I was surprise to hear how picky Elsword's dessert was. He wanted an extra large size of chocolate on the bottom of the parfait, a large scoop of vanilla ice cream in the middle, an extra extra large amount of strawberry ice cream on top. Not to mention his toppings were over the top. He wanted whipped cream, chocolate, caramel, cookies, strawberries and blueberries for his topping. That was the first time I heard a guy order something like that. I only order a strawberry cheese cake.
"Yum. This is so good. It's just like heaven!" Elsword said like a kid. I started giggling I thought the way he was acting was so cute. I couldn't help, but to laugh.
"Hey. It does taste like heaven," Elsword stuffed a spoon full of his parfait in my mouth.
"It's pretty good," I said.
"Pretty good? It's awesome," Elsword smiled and ate some more. The two of us talked about our likes and dislikes. He told me his favorite fruit was strawberry. I guess that's why he ordered an extra extra amount of strawberry ice cream.
After our little snack. We went back to doing the shopping. We shopped for another 4 hours till we finally finished, at 4 in the afternoon. Before going home, we took a walk in the park. Elsword showed me some of his favorite places there.
When we arrived home and opened the door, the rest of the Elgang was no where insight. Elsword and I carried the things in the kitchen and went to the living room to tell everyone we're back. When we walked in...
"Surprise!" the Elgang jumped out and yelled. Elsword and I were so shock. The entire room was decorated with beautiful banners, balloons, pictures, stars, hearts, and many other joyous things.
"Eve, this is our welcome to the Elgang party to you. We want you to feel like your apart of us. Now we will really be the warmest, closest family in the world that has to offer!" the Elgang all smiled. I felt what humans feel in such a situation, happiness. I finally start to understand what happiness is. It's is joy. It made me feel so good. I don't know what to say. Should I thank them? My tears slowly formed down my cheeks.
"Eve, don't cry."
"I feel so positive. Thank you so much for everything, you're all so nice to me."
"There, there Eve," Rena patted me and Aisha gave me a hug. "We are a family and a families stick together!"
"The girls are right," Raven and Chung smiled at Eve.
"Welcome to our crazy family, Eve!" Elsword added.
"Thank you everyone. We truly have become a family," I smiled from deep down.
"By the way, why didn't I know about the plan?" Elsword asked, "I feel left out."
"If we told you, you would've spilled the beans," the Elgang said in unison.
"Spill the beans? How can I spill the beans? I thought this was a party plan."
"You idiot! Spill the beans is an idiom!" Aisha whacked Elsword in the head.
"You are so slow," Raven said.
"More like dumb," Chung laughed.
"Yup," Rena added.
"Hey, you don't have to all gang up on me!" The Elgang all laughed at Elsword's reaction. His reaction was so cute. Elsword is the the entertainment of the entire gang because of his idiotic brain.
"Let's celebrate!" Chung and Rena yelled at the same time. The room went crazy in a split second. We had cake, noodles, rice, ice cream, parfait, tarts, and lots and lots of other food that I had no idea what is was. I hope it was not one of Elsword's creations. Luckily it wasn't. We partied and partied until we fell asleep. I learned what the feeling fun was and we all had so much fun. I can't wait to experience more emotions with my new family filled with warmth.
I also learned Elsword was not the only one obsessed with sweets. Raven and Chung was, too! But compared to the other two, Elsword is more of a glutton. Yet, he doesn't get any taller than the others. I wonder why...? I ate one food after another and it was very tasty and delicious! I let the sweets melt on my tongue and in a split second, there was nothing left. During the party, Rena and Aisha called me into Rena's room.
"Eve! Try this on," Aisha said as she handed a beautiful pink lacy dress with little flowers and sparkles on it. I began to wonder. Aisha's really nice; at first she was mean, but the distance between us grew closer. I took the dress from her and started changing into it.
When I was done, Rena exclaimed, "You look AMAZING!" The two girls also had on the same dresses as me, but Aisha's was purple and Rena's was green. "And now for the hair...," Rena continued, "Eve, sit here." I took a seat in front of her desk with a big mirror. Rena tied a bit of my hair into a braid and she combed the lose hair. After, she put a head band with a big pink flower on my head. Finally, she was done. I peered at myself in the mirror and admired myself.
"Like it?" Rena smiled.
"YES! Rena thank you!" I smiled back at her.
"Me next, Rena," Aisha said.
"Okay, okay, you're so impatient." Rena and I laughed at that and then a second later, Aisha started laughing too. Aisha took a seet and Rena started tying her hair into a waterfall braid. She put a purple flower into Aisha's hair and was done.
"Wow, Rena, you're talented!" the little mage said.
"Hehe, thanks."
Then, Rena started doing her own hair as Aisha and I watched in amazement. She tied some of her hair into a side braid and pinned it to the back with a green bobby pin. Then she put a green flower into her hair on the left.
"Let's go downstairs and surprise the guys," Aisha winked. Rena and Aisha linked arms with me and we walked down the stairs. As we reached the middle of the steps, Chung, Raven, and Elsword dropped whatever they were eating and stared, mouth open, at us. Their faces started to blush and we giggled.
"You girls look amazing," Chung said as he eyed Rena.
"Thanks!" we said in unison.
"Rena did all the work!" I smiled.
Rena blushed and said, "I didn't do ALL the work~"
Raven whispered to Chung, "We should get dressed too." Chung nodded and both of them dragged Elsword into Raven's room. "We'll be right back," Raven shouted.
"I wonder what they're up to..." Aisha said.
Meanwhile, in Raven's bedroom...
"ELSWORD GET DRESSED IN THAT TUXEDO!" Raven yelled.
"Why?" Elsword whined.
"Because I said so."
"Just do it," Chung said.
Elsword sighed and got dressed into the tuxedo. Raven and Chung were already in their tuxedos. Then they walked downstairs slowly and quietly and Raven and Chung gave Rena and Aisha a surprise hug. The two girls squealed and playfully punched them.
"Ask her out," Rena whispered to Elsword.
Elsword took a deep breath and walked over to me. "Eve... Will - Will you g-go out with m-me?" he asked and blushed furiously.
I was real surprised and happy. I had friends who became my family, now I have a boyfriend! "Yes!" I answered and gave him a warm hug. Elsword was shocked, but returned the embrace. The rest of the Elgang cheered and yelled, "CONGRATULATIONS!"
"Now, let's get going! To the van, everyone," Aisha said.
"Chung's driving!" Rena smiled at him.
"Okay."
We all got into the van with Rena and Chung in the front, Aisha and Raven in the middle and me and Elsword in the back. Chung drove and parked the car at the front of a luxurious hotel.
"Thanks, honey," Rena whispered to Chung.
"Anytime," Chung gave Rena a kiss on the cheek.
I started thinking about what we were going to do in their, but then again, it really doesn't matter because we're here to each other, to protect, and to love. I felt warm inside and smiled. I was really happy. I found my true family, even if we were still a bit young, but someday we'll grow old and maybe, just maybe, we'll live with each other like what we're doing right now. I gave Elsword a kiss on the cheek and said, "Let's go inside" to the Elgang. We went in and a whole new adventure starts in there~
Mystic didn't know how to start the story so I ended up writing this one. I know this one is really short compared to the second chapter, but it's longer than the first chapter. Enjoy! And click the REVIEW BUTTON. ^.^~Candy
