A tale of vengeance
Part three
The Contract
As I walk down the narrow, dark alley-way to meet the bounty hunters, a fly keeps flying around my face. I try to hit it but it moves and I miss it so I just keep walking down the alley-way.
Then I get to a t-section then the fly flies into my eye so I swipe at it again but I miss it, then out of nowhere, three senbon (throwing needles) fly past me.
One senbon from my right, one from my left and one from behind me. As the senbon fly past me, it is as if the world slows down and I feel the movement in the air as all three of the senbon fly millimetres away from me and hit the fly, killing it!
I panic and try to run back the way I came, but as I turn around I feel a hand on my shoulder. I turn around and try to punch the person who has their hand on my shoulder, but before I could a second person grabs my hand.
"Hi I'm hibiki kirai" the first one says as he takes his hand off my shoulder.
He looks about 17 with light blue eye and short black hair. He is wearing white jeans, a black shirt and a white jacket.
"These are my brothers Wolfgang," he says as points to the one who grabbed my hand.
He also looks 17. He has spiked up black hair. He is wearing black jeans with a black long sleeve shirt and he is wearing a black mask that covers half his face which it has an eyehole with a red out line on it.
"And this is Shadou" he said as an older looking man stepped out for the shadows.
He looks about 19 to 20 but must be 17 as they are triplets. He is wearing sunglasses. He has long black hair and is wearing black leather pants and a black short sleeve shirt with spiked wrist bands and a spiked leather choker.
All three of them have a set of katanas. One brother has his on his right shoulder, another has his on his left shoulder and the other has his on his left hip. Each sword in the set had a different letter on it. One has a letter "V", one has a "W" and the last one has a "D".
"Sorry if we scarred you we just needed to give you a demonstration of our skill." he apologises.
"We do anything from simple assaults to carefully planned out assassinations." he continues.
"Good. I need you to find someone and bring him to me alive, but barely." I tell him.
"Ok. We can do that." he replies.
He clicks his fingers. Shadou walked over and handed me the contract.
As read it I see that everything is in order. So I reach into my jacket to get a pen. As I do, Shadou grabs my hand.
"I'm just grabbing a pen." I tell him.
He pulls my hand out my pocket and cuts my finger with a senbon. As he does, I notice that hibiki smiles and looks away.
"Ok then." I said as I sign the contract with my blood, using my finger as a pen.
"Ok, now that that is done we need to know as much as you can tell us about the target." Wolfgang says to me as he grabs the contract and hands it to Shadou.
"Ok, the guy, his name is Lestat. I don't know his last name. He has dark blue eyes and long white hair. He was wearing black jeans, a grey shirt and black leather jacket when I last saw him." I tell him as I look down at my finger and notice that it has stopped bleeding.
"Ok. Why do you want him dead?" Hibiki asked me as the smile on his face slowly turns back to the little smile he had before the cut on my finger. "You don't need to tell us." he says as he notices the sad look on my face.
"I might tell you some other time." I say.
"We should go check out the police station for some dirt on this guy." Wolfgang says.
"No we should go check out the Black Raven." Shadou says.
"Yes, I agree." Hibiki says to Shadou in a happy tone.
"I want to come too." I say to them just as they are about to leave. "I want to help you guys as much as I can." I tell them.
"No. He would get killed in there." Wolfgang says to his brothers.
"I think he should come." Hibiki says as he looks at me. "But you must do exactly as we say and stay close to us." Hibiki continues.
"Ok I will." I say to them.
And with that we left to go to the "Black Raven" to find out more about my wife and little girls killer.
We were walking for about 25 minutes before we got there. We walked through the front door, and as we did, everyone in the pub looked at us funny.
After a few minutes one person comes up to us and says.
"$100 dollars for him." As he points at me.
Hibiki, Wolfgang and Shadou all look at him funny.
Then, out of nowhere Shadou punches him and he goes flying across the room.
Then, in a blink of an eye, Hibiki is behind the guy as he is flying across the room and kicks him in the back of the head and he goes flying to Wolfgang.
Wolfgang catches him by the throat and slams him on the ground, breaking the tiles on the floor.
"Ok then, let's get serious." the guy said he gets up.
Then he starts screaming and then his appearance starts to change.
"Let's see how good you really are." As he changes, his body grows scales, his neck stretches like a snake and his head turns into a snake head.
As he changes I see that the brothers start to change. Hibiki eyes turn red and his teeth and nails grow.
Wolfgang's ears turn pointy; he grows fur and starts to hunch over on to all fours.
Shadou's arm turns red and he grows spikes and his nails grow longer and pointier.
"Curse of fire ball." shadou screams as a ball of fire appears in his hand and he then throws it at the guy.
The guy jumps into the air to dodge it, while he is in mid-air Wolfgang jumps up and grabs him on the back and turns him over so that his head is pointing at the ground, then Hibiki kicks him in the head, Wolfgang slams him, head first, into the ground in the same place he did last time.
All four of them turn back to humans.
"Now are you going to tell us where your boss is?" Hibiki asks him.
"Boss? What boss?" the guy says.
"Don't play dumb with us, why would you want to buy him if your boss did not tell you to?" Wolfgang says to him.
"I could smell that he was human. I was thinking he was your pet, I wanted to buy him for lunch." the guy says.
"Well, this was a waste of time." Shadou says as he kicked the guy in the temple, killing him.
So we left the pub and we were walking for 15 minutes, when Hibiki says, "I guess you have a few questions you would like to ask us."
"Yes like what-" I started to say.
"Not here." he says as he hands me a card. "If you have any questions, come to the address." He says as he runs off with his brothers.
