Chapter 3: I am Your Father.
Sally Jackson's apartment
Percy woke up, already getting late for school. Just a great start to the day.
He scrambled out of bed and ran to the bathroom, with a toothbrush in his mouth, he quickly made his beds. Paul is going to kill me. He thought as he went to the shower. In 2 minutes he was out and running into the Kitching.
"Had a good sleep?" Asked a deep manly voice. Percy turned around to see Sally sitting in the living room with two gods. Casual day in the life, folks.
"A shirt would be appreciated, Perseus." Zeus raised an eyebrow.
"One second." He said as he ran to go put a hoodie on.
He walked back to Sally, Poseidon, and Zeus. Now fully clothed.
"Umm, sorry about that," Percy said grabbing his cereal and sitting across from Zeus.
They all stared at him.
"So… what brings you here, on this lovely day."
"We need to talk to you-" started Zeus
"And take you to Olympus." Added Poseidon.
Sally looked at Zeus. "Will you tell him?"
Zeus just nodded his head once, as a reply.
"Uhh." Percy started
"Questions later." Poseidon interrupted.
"Okay, but what about school?"
"Oh. That's fine. I'll call Paul and tell him about… the situation." Ms. Jackson said.
"Umm, Sally. You must understand that he will be staying at Olympus for a bit." Zeus said getting up following Sally.
"Wha-" Percy tried to ask
"Later, son. Please be patient. Soon everything will make sense." Poseidon soothed.
"Yeah, that's fine. Just don't do anything stupid, Perce."
"When do I ever do anything stupid."
Percy grinned. "Well, then we should get going." Said Poseidon. Percy gave his mother a tight hug and kiss on the forehead then flashed out with the Olympians.

On Olympus
Poseidon and Zeus walked to their thrones while Percy stood in the middle of the room. The Olympians were all seated with the exception of Apollo, not being there. All their thrones had shrunk down to human size and the Olympians were in their mortal forms.
"Perseus Jackson." Said the King of the gods. "We have something very important to tell you."
Percy raised an eyebrow. "And what would that be?"
"A new prophecy was given to us." Athena replies.
"But, I thought the Oracles aren't working."
"No, they are not. However the Fates took special interest in giving us this prophecy." Explained Poseidon.
"Athena would you please?" Zeus gestured for his daughter to speak.
Ahena cleared her throat, and repeated the prophecy.
When she was done Percy responded, "Oh…"
Silence overtook the throne room, everyone deep in thought.
"However there are some more important matters to address." Poseidon announced.
"Something more important than a prophecy that could mean the end of Olympus?" The son of Poseidon questioned.
"To me, Yes," Zeus whispered.
"You see, Perseus" Poseidon started. "I… I'm not your father."
Percy furrowed his eyebrows, "Do I also get an explanation?" he asked when Poseidon didn't continue. "I knew Sally, and there was Ashley. But then Zeus met your mother and… brother? " Poseidon looked at Zeus.
"Percy, I am your father. But even as a child you were powerful. Too powerful. You attracted too much unwanted attention. So we put a restraint on your power, and poseidon sort of adopted you. That way you were in less danger. Safer, happier."
The demigod said nothing for a while, his brain clearly trying to understand this.
"So, I'm not your son," he looked at Poseidon, "But I'm your son?" He looked at Zeus.
"Yes." Both Poseidon and Zeus said.
"But I thought you hated me. You said you were going to blast me out of the sky." Percy asked Zeus.
"But I have the powers of a son of Poseidon, I look like a son of Poseidon."
"Yes, we had to change a lot, you don't naturally look like this, and your not suppose to have these powers." Zeis said.
"We placed these powers inside you, however after hearing the prophecy I assume you would have gotten these powers eventually anyway."
"So you said I didn't always look like this?" asked Percy.
