A/N: Hey guys! Im back with a new chapter! I would like to thank everyone that have read, favorited, shared, followed, and commented on this story so far! Thank you so much! I love you all! And this would probably be the regular chapter flow of this story due to school and stuff...blah blah blah. So I will try every two weeks or so. That's enough time to write a chapter, proofread and then upload. Anyways, I hope you enjoy this chapter! I won't hold you longer with this talk :)
Everything started to connect in my head and realized how bad the whole situation looked. Her hair was disheveled along with mine. I was practically naked while it seems she took off her pants while I was sleeping. She had the blanket covering her legs, while her pants were on the floor. I could say a variety of things at this moment. I could make a joke off of this or come off as a jerk, but neither of those things applied to what I said. "I can explain..just give me one second." I dashed into my room and threw on a tshirt and some basketball shorts before running back out to see her still confused. So I tried explaining it again, that turned out also bad if not worse.
"This is not what is looks like." I said putting my hands up in defense. She sighed loudly before sitting back on the couch. "Really, because it seems to look like we had a one-night stand." She then held her head in pain. "This headache is killing me." she whined. I sat on the chair next to her. "Do you want any medicine or anything?" She slowly nodded and I went to get her some. As I was in the kitchen I could hear her say, "Are you usually this nice to the girls you hook up with?" I remembered that she still believe we hooked up last night. "Actually, you are the first one I've taken home." I said back. I then sighed internally, realizing that was the wrong choice of words. I got the asprin from out the counter and pour her a glass of water, before bringing them over and sitting back down.
She raised an eyebrow at me as I sat back down and slided the stuff on the coffee table over to her. She then responsed to my previous comment. "Oh...so at least we are on the same boat. So, how was I?" I choked on the air I was breathing in for a second. I don't know if it was her hangover talking or what, but man this girl was forward. "I don't know, we haven't done it yet." She looked at me once again with her wide, but weirdly adorable eyes. "So, we didn't do...you know do...well?" She kept rambling for a minute until I stop her. "No...we didn't get that far last night...we actually didn't get anywhere at all."
"Then what happen?" I sighed loudly before I started recalling everything that happened the night before. Her eyes widen at certain parts of the story and I could tell she was shocked about the whole situation. When I was finished, she stared at me for a second. She then stood up and tackled me in a hug. I was shocked and decided to politely pat on her back. "Thank you so much. You practically save my life." She separated from me and I can see the blush creep out on her face. It was kinda cute, in the most platonic way. "Umm...sorry. I just...I didn't mean to." She rambled on for about a minute before I stopped her. "It's okay, I would have been the same way." She smiled before sitting back down on the couch with the blanket covering her lap once again and began taking the medicine.
"Can I ask you a question?" I asked nervously. She gulped down her water before looking at me. "Sure, I guess." She answered looking kinda confused. "Why were you at the bar last night? You don't seem like the kinda girl to party like that.." She sighed before replying. "Some co-workers thought I needed to get loosen up and after weeks and weeks of begging me, I decided to give it a go." She didn't look me in the eyes after that. "As you can see, it didn't turn out well." She chuckled lightly but I can see she didn't really mean it as a joke.
"I just don't get how they just left you like that. It was like you were nothing in their eyes." I soon regretted those words coming out when I then looked to see the girl almost in tears. "Yeah, its kinda like that." She buried her head in her hands. I sat there awkwardly for a second, not sure what to do. I decided to move to the other couch and patted her back once again. She sniffled a bit before putting her head back up. "Sorry, its just..what you said is basically kinda true, you know. I'm the youngest in my line of work at the job and they kinda don't actually have respect for me." She chuckled nervously. "It's weird I'm telling you all this...maybe its just the major hangover I have. But I don't even know your name." I didn't even notice that. I never got the chance, too.
"Moon." I said. "Wait...what?" she asked. "Moon, Austin Moon." She actually laughed at that. "James Bond, really?" She said trying to stop her chuckles. "Come on, those movies are classic." She finally got to the point where she was able to stop laughing, but I kinda didn't want her to stop. "Dawson, Allyson Dawson." She then started chuckling again. She then stopped when she looked at me. "Sorry if I kinda weirded you out." I smiled at her before replying. "Its cool. It's just not a lot of people laugh at my corny jokes." She tilted her head to the side with confusion on her face. "Really?" Before giggling a little more at the fact. This girl is literally blowing my mind with her adorableness. But I couldn't think like that though. Can we even be categorized as friends? I'm not sure. She glanced behind me before immediately off the couch and picking up her stuff.
I then looked behind and noticed the oven clock which showed a time of 10:00am. Turning back around, I manage to catch her pulling her pants up her…. very long, sleek legs. "Um...can you stop staring at my legs? You're making me uncomfortable…." Allyson said, which shook me out of my thoughts. I noticed a red faced Allyson staring at me, with her pants fully on. "Oh..um..sorry about that. Um...Im just gonna go get ready." I awkwardly said before going to my bedroom and closing the door. I took a deep breath and leaned against the door. I just met this girl and yet I have seen her half naked, drunk and know a good chunk about her personal life. I just try to shake any thoughts of her out my head and started getting ready.
After I finished getting ready, I walk out to see Allyson sitting on the couch with her purse beside her. She also had her phone in hand. As I got closer, I realized that it wasn't no other than a flip phone. I couldn't even think of the last time I seen one. As I went into the living room, she quickly closed the phone and put it her purse. She seemed embarrassed of it and I didn't blame her. "Um...Austin…can you drive me back home? I was driven to the club last night and I don't really want to call a cab and.." She keep rambling on her a minute before I decided to finally stop her. "Sure. We can just put the address in my phone." I said while pulling out my iphone in from my pocket. She nodded in response and grabbed her stuff.
We both started for the door when Allyson stops and looks at the mirror placed in front of door and gasps. "Wow, I may not have had one but, I totally look like I'm coming from a one night stand." I chuckled as she touched her still frazzled hair and face with some of the makeup has smeared off. I never really noticed the makeup earlier, maybe it was due my exhaustion or just I was paying attention more to her words instead of my face."Can I go...freshen up in your bathroom?" She asked. "Yeah, you can use my roommate's bathroom. Just go straight and turn right at the second door." She nodded before quickly heading to the bathroom and closing the door. I then sat back on the couch and waited for her to return.
Oh yeah, I totally forgot to mention my roommate, but don't worry...they will definitely be part of this story later on. Now, I'm getting sidetracked, so let's get back to the main story.
I watched as Allyson walked back out with her hair in a ponytail and all her makeup off. She looked...nice without it. I also noticed that she was wearing the same clothes. "If you want to change, I think…" I started before she interrupted me. "I couldn't ask for that, Austin. You already have given me so much. I couldn't take your clothes." I wanted to tell her, it wasn't mine I was giving her but I figure that would be too much of an argument to deal with at the moment.
"Alright, let's just head for the car." We both finally made it out the door and out the apartment complex to my car out in the parking lot. "It's not the best but here she is." I said raising my hands at the truck in front of us. "She?" She asked. "Yes, she." Allyson chuckled. "Im sure,...she is fine. Plus, its not like my first time riding it." She then hops into the passenger side and I stood outside shocked by her statement. I knew this is gonna be an interesting ride.
A/N: So that wraps up this chapter! I would love a comment or favorite or something if you are into that stuff. If I said car in the first chapter, lets replace that with truck. And I mean like a pickup truck so yeah. Anyways, thanks for actually reading this far and intill next time I guess.
So peace out, from me :)
