I'm not even going to try to explain why I haven't uploaded, but I am sorry.
Dean woke up some time later, with a thumping headache. Must be hungover... That was something; Dean Winchester, for once in his life managed to get drunk, that was something lately, were the first thoughts to come into his head. He then became aware of something tight around his wrists. He finally opened his eyes to find himself hung from the ceiling by his wrists besides Sam. Oh. Not quite a hang-over then. The thoughts from when he was previously conscious flooded his memory. Clearly, Sam had been unsuccessful in stabbing the witch. Dean let out a small growl.
"Let us go you bitch!" he yelled. The annoying high-pitched voice came back.
"Umm... Let me think about that... How about. Nope!" She turned and skipped back off to the thing she was doing in the corner. She Came back over to them a few minutes later, a long knife in hand. She strolled casually over to Sam, grabbing his forearm tightly, and dragged the knife across the crease of his elbow, a deep cut, that almost instantly started gushing blood. The witch caught it in the bowl she held tightly clasped in her hand. Dean growled at her, struggling against his ropes as Sam was almost screaming, but she just turned and did the same to him, unfazed. The cut stings like hell, and Dean can't keep back his yell.
"Son of a bitch!" he screams at her. The witch just tilts her head sideways in a way that reminds Dean horribly of Cas. She moved next to take a hair from each of them. They needed help, or else it was going to be difficult to do themselves. Pretty life endangering actually. Wait... Wasn't that their job anyway? He sighed and did what he knew should work. He silently prayed.
"Castiel, please come down to save our asses." He didn't say it aloud, he said it in his head. He waited, and he waited some more. It wasn't like Cas to be like this... He would usually Come immediately, especially For Dean. "Cas, please, any time now would be great!" He started to panic now, it wasn't like Cas not to come. the witch was getting closer and closer to them. Dean could tell that he was shaking. They had grown to rely on Cas too much, and now he had clearly gotten sick of them, and taken off. Something about that fact upset Dean a little. To think that they might never have the help of an angel that actually cared whether they were smite or not... He needed to find out where he was at least, so that he could stop that worry that had crept up on him and taken over his body. Maybe he was just busy doing Angel-y stuff. Yeah, that was it... Cas was just doing some angel shit. Dean didn't even know why he was worrying, Cas is an angel for crying out loud! If anyone could look after themselves it would be Cas.
A crash came from deeper in the mine. The witch, who was just about to take one of Sam's fingernails, snapped her head up. She looked around as she took a step away from Sam. She took another wary step towards the sound.
"Excuse me boys, it appears I have a little problem I need to take care of." she turned on her heel, and strode of deeper into the mine. Sam and Dean knew that this was probably going the only chance they got to escape. Dean managed to slide one wrist out of the rope, using the free hand to undo the other. He landed with a light 'thud' on the ground, before getting up and brushing himself off, realising the broken bones he had gained earlier.
"Sammy? are you okay up there?"
Sam nods, and tugs against his ropes. "Yeah, i'm fine... D'you mind maybe letting me down?"
Dean smiles slightly to himself, pleased that his brother is okay. Moving to help Sam out of his ropes, he reaches into his brothers pocket to pull out Ruby's knife, that somehow, he had managed to conceal from the witch. Dean used that to cut the ropes, not bothering to catch Sam when he dropped, that would just be too much of a chick flick moment. It earned him one of Sam's very best bitch faces, reserved only for Dean when he was being an ass. He took the blade back off Dean, and pointed out to him where the witch had left his. Dean grabbed it, and followed the general direction the witch had gone in. They followed the dimly lit path, constantly tripping over obstacles, Dean trying his best not to yell and scream out every time he went down. Finally, they heard her muttering her enchantment on whatever unfortunate being had been there. They stood quietly behind an outcropping rock, preparing to strike.
The witch finished her incantation, and turned away, muttering to herself as she walked back in the direction of the opening. When she walks past the rock, they strike. Dean shoots from one direction, distracting her from Sam, who took no time in hesitating to stab the bitch. She fell forwards, a white/blue glow illuminating the passage momentarily. When they were one hundred percent sure that it had been successfully ganked, they made their way out of the mine. Sam smashed his head multiple times, but when they did finally get out, they got into the impala, and drove away from to place, and to Bobby's house, to get fixed up.
