Alrighty here is your chapter two! Enjoy!)
Riley woke up shivering head to toe. Her vision was blurry and she blinked furiously hoping to clear it up so she could see where she was at. As she tried to sit up she was restrained by the cold metal clasping around her wrists. She looked were her wrists were chained. She suddenly realized that she was laying on not the floor, but the part of the floor that raised up to be a bench. It was all concrete, making it very cold to lay on. And feeling the cold made her realize she was only in a bra and boxers, whom she did not own. She squinted around and saw the bench was in the back corner of a cell.
'A cell!' Riley screamed in her head. "Help" she screamed out into the darkness. Riley looked around, seeing a fire pit, burning low but it was enough light to make out what else was in the room. Her cell was not the only one in the large room, but the only one that held anything. She could see that there were plenty of tools next to the fire pit on a table. Some looked like every day fire place tools and others, she had seen on television shows where people were tortured. "Help. Please!" she screamed over and over wondering if anyone would come. Tears swelled in her blue eyes, dripping down wetting her face. She struggled to keep her sleek brown hair from sticking to her now damp face. "Please" she tried again but it only came out as a whisper. When she thought all hope was over she heard the squeak of a wooden door, which was on the same wall of the fire pit. Light flooded into the room but was shortly shut off as the door closed.
"Oh, thank you! Please help me!" she cried to the figured, who she noticed was hooded. The figure had a black hood on and dark sweatpants that looked almost too small for the buffed outline.
"I'm not here to help you" a raspy voice hissed. The tears fell again as Riley continued to plead with the figure.
"Please, all I want is to go home. Please just let me go" Riley begged as the figure opened the cell door, closing it after they were in the cell with her.
"I'm sorry Riley, but I can't let you do that" the tone had changed to a voice full of melancholy.
"Please" Riley begged for more. The figured had unlocked the chains and threw Riley roughly to the floor of the cell. Riley knew this was her chance. She quickly got up and pushed her body towards the exit. She wasn't fast enough. Before she knew it she had been knocked backed down the floor.
"If you stay quiet, this won't last as long" the figure said softly. Her eyes widened with fear as the figure brought out a long leather strip with little pieces of glass in it.
The whips could be heard as the belt soared through the air. The crack of leather and skin made even a louder rebound.
Over the next hour, screams and cries of pain filled all the air they could. Each scream became more pain filled. Riley soon became numb. Her voice had grown weak and so had she. She laid there, repeating over and over in her head 'help' but the words did not escape her mouth.
The figure stopped as it noticed Riley had gone limp. Her reflexes no longer working.
Grabbing her arm the figure pulled out the syringe. Riley's worst fear was realized and quickly she used the last bit of energy she had to tuck arms under her, laying of them. The figure growled at her and rolled her over on her back.
As the coldness hit the cuts on her back abruptly, Riley cried out in pain. She struggled as hard as she could for the figure not to get to her arm.
Twisting her arm, the figure finally got to her vein. Grabbing the syringe and stabbing it deep and hard into her arm.
"Good night Riley" the figured whispered softly in her ear. Placing a kiss on her forehead, the figure softly laid Riley back down onto the bench. Riley could feel the cold metal being placed on her wrists and clamping down on them once more.
Riley looked up trying to fight the blackness consuming her sight. Not but a few seconds did the blackness win.
(How was it? Let me know whatcha think! Chapter 3 will be up soon! Thank you for reading!)
