I own nothing from Boys Over Flowers*
This is just a little story that I thought was kinda cute. I immagined what it would've been like if the F4 had kids, and this story just spun out. Enjoy!
Geum Jan-Di let out a big yawn. Her eyes fluttered open, as she took in her surroundings. Right next to her, Gu Jun-Pyo was sitting, fast asleep. She smiled contentedly as she brushed a strand of hair out of his eyes. He looked so peaceful while he was asleep, his face relaxed without the usual scowl fixed there. Again, she smiled. In a couple hours, she would be on the ground, holding her daughter in an embrace.
"Gu Jun-Pyo," she roused as she shook him from his sleep.
"Aay," he grumbled, "it's still early."
"Wake up," she said as she continued to shake him.
"What now?" Jun-Pyo said, annoyed that he was woken up so early, regardless of the reason.
"How long until this thing lands?" Jan-Di asked anxiously. "I want to see Ji-Ah soon."
"You woke me up for that?" he mumbled.
"Yes, now how much longer?" she pried.
"I don't know, an hour or so? Ask the captain if you want to know!" he told her annoyed, getting ready to go back to sleep.
"Oh, no you don't, Gu Jun-Pyo," Jan-Di said, preventing him from sinking back into his chair.
"We've been sleeping for the last seven hours," she playfully scolded him, "we should get ready to see Ji-Ah."
"Ah, that little rascal," he said a little more awake now that he knew he wasn't going back to dreamland.
"Yes, that little rascal," Jan-Di said excitedly.
"She's probably out skatebooarding somewhere or going out with the rest of the little F4," he assured his wife.
"Do you think she's okay?" Jan-Di asked a bit worriedly.
"She's so unpredictable, just like you were. How am I supposed to keep track of her when I can't even keep tabs on you most of the time?" Jun-Pyo asked teasingly.
"Very funny," Jan-Di said sarcasticlly.
"Don't worry, I'm sure she's alright," Jun-Pyo reassured his wife, planting a light kiss on her forehead.
"And you say I'm the ignorant one," Jan-Di mumbled under her breath.
"The great Gu Jun-Pyo is not ingnorant," he said dramatically, "he simply tends to leave matters like this to his secretary, ."
"Alright, alright," Jan-Di said in defeat.
"She's fine, Jan-Di, we'll see her tonight, and after that we can spend some time with her, I promise," Jun-Pyo vowed to his wife.
"Okay," she said quietly, as rested her head down on his shoulder.
Yoon Ji-Hoo closed his eyes as he dragged the bow across his violin's strings. He relaxed his mind and let the music carry his thoughts away. Music was always something that he held dear to his heart, despite deciding to pursue a career in the medical field .Relying on it every time he was worried or anxious, it was often the first thing he practiced once coming back. He insisted that his daughter take music lessons, and was pleased to find that she enjoyed them as well.
"Honey, the pancakes are ready," Min Seo-Huyn called from the kitchen.
Setting down his violin, he crossed his room, opened the door, and headed into the kitchen. The couple had just returned from their trip abroad to London three hours ago, but were forced to wait a bit longer to see their Hei-Ran. Their daughter was going out with the rest of her F4 members in preparation of their gathering tonight. Seeing to it that she was in good health, he made an effort not to worry too much; worrying wasn't going to make the time pass faster. This he understood.
"Good morning, babe," he said to Seo-Huyn, planting a kiss on her cheek before making his way to the coffee maker.
"How do you think Hei-Ran is doing?" she asked him softly.
"I'm sure she's having a lovely time with her friends," Ji-Hoo answered her, sipping his coffee and pouring syrup onto his pancakes.
"Did you hear anything from her yet?" Seo-Huyn asked her husband.
"No, not yet," he answerd honestly.
"I hope she didn't change too much from the last time we were with her," Seo-Huyn continued.
"Aah, wouldn't it be nice if she didn't grow up at all?" Ji-Hoo said longingly.
"Yes, it certainly would be nice," she answered.
So Yi-Jung looked up from his pottery wheel. It slowly came to a stop, and once it did, he stood up to go wash his hands.
"May I come in?" the cheerful voice of his wife asked from the other side of the door.
"I don't know, can you come in?" he playfully responded.
"Well, here I come," she said lovingly as she gently pushed open the door.
Yi-Jung smiled at his wife as she crossed the room to where he was standing.
Examining all of his creations along the way, she smiled as she saw the vase she made for him displayed on his shelf of favorite pieces.
"That was the best one," he said, following her gaze over to her vase.
"Oh, I'm sure you've seen better," Ga-Eul insisted, waving away the compliment.
"Maybe I have," he said, "but this one comes from the heart."
Her cheeks reddend slightly as she looked down.
Yi-Jung was happy to know that he could still make his wife blush, even after all those years they have been together.
"Do you know how many weeks we can spend with Hae-Joon until we have to go again?" Ga-Eul asked.
"Ummm, I think we have at least a good two months," Yi-Jung replied.
"Okay, that's good," she said happily.
"Don't worry, we'll see our son at the party tonight." "He's not one to miss out on such a good oppurtunity to seduce a few girls," Yi-Jung said jokingly.
"Well, he sure inherited the Cassanova charm," Ga-Eul commented .
"Of course he did," he said, "afterall, he wouldn't be my son without it."
They laughed together for a few sweet moments.
"He'll be fine," Yi-Jung promised his wife.
"Afterall, he's our son,"
Ha Jae-Kyung clutched onto Song Woo-Bin's hand as the couple walked over to where their chauffer parked, waiting to drive them home.
"How's Min-Joon?" she asked as soon as they were within earshot of the chauffer.
"He's out with his friends from the F4, mam,"the chauffer responded politley as he opened the door to let her and Woo-Bin in.
They both climbed in as the chauffer shut the car door. After entering the vehicle himself, he revved up the engine and started to slowly weave around the parking lot to the exit.
"Has he been eating well, sleeping well, keeping up with his studies?" she said as she assaulted the poor chauffer with questions he could only assume to know the answer to.
"Aah, Miss, I'm quite sure that his well-being and academic career are going well." the chauffer said, all to familiar with his boss' assaulting questions when she worried.
"Don't worry, I'm sure we'll see him tonight at the gathering, babe," Woo-Bin did his best to assure her, feeling for the poor chuaffer.
"I know, I know," Jae-Kyung said, "but just to be clear, he hasn't been bullied, has he?"
"No, Miss, it would not seem so," the chauffer said.
"Honey, why would he be bullied?" Woo-Bin asked. "He is the son of a Mafia Prince, and he had the rest of his F4 to rely on,"
"I know, I know," Jae-Kyung said again.
"Miss, you need not worry, I'm sure your son is in goood health; mentally and physically." the chauffer said, concurring with Woo-Bin.
"I guess all this worrying is for nothing," Jae-Kyung said , "but just to be clear, he hasn't been gambling, has he?"
"Ha Jae-Kyung, our Min-Joon is not yet a gangster." "You do not need to be worried about these things!" Woo-Bin again reassured her.
While all this was going on, the poor chauffer sat in his seat, thinking I need a pay raise.
Hope you enjoyed! I wanted to write a chapter expressing the parents' feelings. Once again, reviews are greatly appreciated and taken into consideration.
