As the first sign of light he was ready to move on, he didn't like his time wasted. The kept to the forest, shielding themselves from the humans that surrounded said forest . By early morning through Sesshomaru felt a strange magic and he followed its path. It was miko power, this miko power had a strange feel and one could almost taste it depending on how strong the powers was. Soon they cleared some brush and came to a small clearing with a large tree in the middle, and there he was.
Sesshomaru was not pleased. What a disgrace his brother was, bested my a miko, weak.
Inuaysha was pinned there, in a deep sleep.
Sesshomaru moved forward and was quickly met by a monk "Halt"
Sesshomaru looked down "Move" Believe it or not, he didn't kill every human he passed, even if he really wanted to.
"I can't let you pass, orders"
Behind him someone moved and he looked up to see a demon slayer, she was brave but no threat to him.
"He belongs to me" Sesshomaru stated calmly.
"You are Lord Sesshomaru?" The monk asked,
"Indeed, now move"
The monk's staff hit the ground "I can not"
"Then you will die" His poison rose to his claws.
"Stop! even if we did move there is nothing you can do!" He heard the slayer,
His poison withdrew,
"The Miko Kikyo has put him in a deep sleep, only she can undo it, you can try but I would suggest you not"
Sesshomaru looked at her hard, there was no lie in her words, he looked back at the monk, who stepped aside "Since I can tell you believe her I will allow you to get close, but you have been warned"
Sesshomaru walked closer, and when he got a few feet away he could feel the spell, and if he moved any closer it would rebuke him, no doubt. He would spare these humans lives.
"Where is the miko"
"She went after Naraku"
"What did the half-breed do"
Miroku and Sango looked at each other, "Inuyasha believe Kikyo knows there whereabouts of a jewel, she felt as if he was betraying her trust and feelings" The monk said slowly.
"She loved him" Sango spoke, "I think, I think he loved her, I think Naraku is behind all this, but she could not take the risk"
Love? Stupid.
"Weak fool" He turned away, let he idiot stay that way, he didn't care.
"Is there anything we should tell Kikyo for you?" Miroku asked,
He paused "You may tell her I was here, but the half-breed is her problem, I care not, but the treaty still needs design, she will need to seek me out or her fate will be worst than simple death"
With that, he vanished.
Miroku sighed "I thought for sure I was a dead man"
"I heard he destroyed a village last night"
Miroku looked back at her "I think we should find Kikyo"
Sango nodded and with one last look at Inuyasha, they left in search of Kikyo, but first, they would need to let her sister know so that she could keep an eye on Inuyasha.
They soon found themselves in a older woman's hut,
"So young Lord has come looking for his half-brother"
"Yes but he left, but he said the treaty needs to be taken care of"
The older woman stopped moving "Young Lord will have to wait, something has come up" She sat tea down for them "The half-breed was correct to question my sister"
Sango and Miroku looked at one another,
"The jewel is indeed back, but my sister knows not where it is"
"Ok" Both Miroku and Sango said together,
"But if Naraku finds it first, young Lord won't have to worry about a treaty"
Silence met them all,
"Ye do not need to find my sister, ye needs to go after young Lord"
Sango almost spit our her tea "I'm sorry?"
"He needs to know"
"Forgive me, but would that not be a bad thing? A powerful demon with the jewel?"
She smiled "Young Lord is indeed powerful and very prideful, he will not seek the jewel's power, and his father will be the one to know what best to do with it"
Once again the two young people looked at one another, nodding. They stood up "I guess we will go West then," Miroku said,
"What if Kikyo returns," Sango asked "What of Inuyasha"
The woman thought for a moment "Kikyo is not the only one who can release him" She smiled.
