Misunderstanding
(AN: This is set at the start of season 1)
"You should marry Olivia soon, Son."
Peter spat out his beer. "What?"
"Olivia," Walter repeated as if it were obvious. "You should marry her soon. Summer weddings are marvellous. I wanted one but your mother-"
"Walter," Peter cut him off. "I am not marrying Olivia."
"But…"
"No buts. It's not happening. She barely even likes me."
"Then you'll still be better than 37% of married couples," Walter argued persistently.
"Walter," Peter shook his head, not understanding how his father's mind worked. "No."
"Think of how clever your children would be!"
"Goodnight Walter," Peter put his beer on the table and walked out the room.
