Cyborg walked down the street asking anyone he saw if they had seen his missing leader. The answer was always the same, 'no'.

It was a little after one o' clock and he still hadn't gotten any closer to finding his leader.

Glancing around he saw a boy in front of a flower shop. He had dark hair and seemed about Robin's height. Cyborg ran forward and put his hand in the boy's shoulder.

"Robin?" He asked hopefully.

The boy turned and cocked his head. "I think you have me confused for someone else." He said. The kid had a sloght European accent, not heavy but definitely there.

"Sorry," cyborg said temporarily put off by the child's dazzling blue eyes and happy grin. That's when cyborg realized who it was. "Hey wait you're-"

"Richard Grayson," the boy made a mocking bow. "But you can call me Dick." His eyes widened in shock. "But you're cyborg, second in command of the teen titans!"

"S-second in command?" Stuttered cyborg, blushing slightly. "Is that what people have been saying?"

"Well, you are aren't you? You seem like the obvious option. I mean, Beast boy is to young, raven doesn't seem like the kind to take charge and that star flame girl isn't even from this planet."

"It's Starfire." Corrected Cyborg.

"Right," laughed Dick. He seemed so carefree and unabashed.

"But good deduction. You seem like quite the detective." admitted the half robot. Dick stuck out his chest proudly.

"Well what do you expect. You guys are the only things i've heard about since I got to jump city.

Cyborg was only half listening to the kid talk. "It's been nice talking to you but I really have to go find my friend. He turned to walk away but the kid stopped him.

"Let me help," he offered.

"Sure, but you've got to keep up." warned cyborg. The kid pulled some keys from his pocket and swung them from his finger.

"Want a ride?" A few minutes later cyborg was sitting next to one of the richest kids alive in the boy's cherry red Ferrari flying smoothly across the pavement.

"Sweet ride," admired cyborg.

"It great isn't it," the boy had one arm on the wheel and another on the armrest of the car. "I got it this morning. Great sale." Cyborg felt inwardly jealous of this carefree rich kid and found himself wishing that Robin could be this crazy.

If only he knew.

"So where does your friend like to go?" Asked Dick making a smooth right turn.

"His room, mostly, he doesn't go anywhere." said Cyborg.

"Ok... so what does he like doing?"

"He does training and combat practice mostly."

"Where does he like to eat, it's around lunch time maybe he went to get food."

"I don't know, he usually has whatever the rest of us have."

"How well do you know this guy?" Dick sounded incredulous. "You said he was your friend."

Cyborg lowered his head. How well did he know Robin? He didn't seem to know anything about him or his life before he was Robin or anything he liked.

Dick shook his head. "Hey, it's probably not your fault. Remember the kid was with batman before he came here."

The idea confounded cyborg. How had he not thought of that? Robin was from Gotham, great protege of Batman. "You're from Gotham right?" Cyborg asked his driver. Dick nodded slowing at a street light. "What did you think of Robin when he lived in Gotham?"

Dick shrugged and continued down the road. "He was with Batman, always in the shadows. Some people still think Batman is an urban legend. Some people didn't even know if Robin was real until he came to Star city. But I don't have much of an opinion because I was really young hen I lived in Gotham. I've been... Away for a long time." He shrugged again.

Cyborg thought for a moment. "True, he is a secretive guy, living in the terrible city of Gotham- take no offence"

"None taken."

"But still, that's no excuse. I'm supposed to be one of his best friends." Cyborg looked dejected.

"Look Cy-" Dick was cut off by a loud bang from across the street. A man walked out of the rubble, which was all that was left of the door, and laughed.

"Stupid titans! You think this is your city think again!"

Cyborg jumped out of the car. "We'll catch up later buddy I gotta fix this mess!"

The ebony haired boy was already gone. He watched from an alley as the half robot fought the nameless thief. His gut churned with guilt. Is this what Robin was to the team? A masked face with nothing else behind it? The game seemed to be getting more and more complicated. Three down, one to go.

Im sooooooooo sorry for the long wait. I'm so close to done so hold on. (Again so freaking sorry)
