Chapter 3

"Why are you even asking?" The car suddenly stopped moving leaving them with only a view of a man figure standing before them. "Huh, why did we stop?" Ed said. Mustang was looking at what was in front of him looking closely at every move the person makes. "You see that Fullmetal?! That is him." Ed's eyes widened. Roy slowly opened the door hoping the criminal wont start attacking them right away when suddenly the young alchemist sitting in the back stopped him. "Wait, I think it might be a better idea if we let him make his move first, turn of the lights so he can't see us." The Elric said hoping the Colonel wouldn't be an idiot and actually listen to him. The Colonel got back in the car and looked at Edward. "You better be right about that Fullmetal or we are going to be in trouble." Edward replied. "Of course I am right!" The two soldiers waited a certain amount of time. When suddenly a women appeared at the station waiting for her train. There weren't much people on the station surprisingly, that was the perfect time for the so called "blood transforming alchemist " to do his job. The criminal started walking closely to the women and holding a knife out of his pocket. That is when the Flame and The Fullmetal alchemist shot out of the car and jumped in to stop him. Unfortunately the killer noticed them coming and came out of behind the young lady putting the knife against her throat as he said. "Don't move an inch or I will slit her throat." Roy and Ed both stopped as soon as they heard these words.

"Aren't you playing a little dirty, let her go!" The Fullmetal alchemist shouted as he transmuted his automail hand into a blade. Mustang on the other hand was ready to snap his fingers at any moment.

"Is the military that short on men to let a kid as a state alchemist? What are you going to do?!" He said laughing at them like everything was just a joke. Then he took the knife away from the women and le slid his hand. As the started to spread on the ground the murderer draw a transmutation circle. The women who was held hostage just a minute ago was slowly going away step by step, shaking with fear in her eyes. The young alchemist suddenly jumped and grabbed the young lady to prevent her from getting hurt because of the explosion that the villain in this case created, after a few seconds turned into a steam, while Colonel Mustang was left behind, maybe he really was useless. "Ms. I will have to ask you to run away as fast as you can!" The blond alchemist said to the women, and as soon as she heard that she ran away. The criminal used his opportunity to attack the blond state alchemist from behind. Luckily Edward managed to dodge the attack. But when he actually turned around and saw a red, sharp like iron blade coming at him, this time though the alchemist prodigy didn't have the time to dodge or transmute. Then he saw something very bright coming at them both. Flames? That's what is was. The blond alchemist braced himself thinking that will protect him from being burned to ashes. The Iron blooded alchemist noticed that as well and quickly moved aside. The fire stopped spreading just before Edward and started disappearing. Roy Mustang was walking towards to the perhaps enemy.

"YOU COULD OF KILLED ME YOU STUPID BASTARD!" The blond shouted at the older man. Edward stand up and clap his hands.

"Fullmetal wait!" Mustang grabbed the younger boy's hand to stop him and continued. "Something is not right here…" He stroke a few big flames at the alchemist so that he and the alchemist prodigy can escape and make out some kind of strategy. "Ed come on!" The boy followed his superior, good that they found a hideout in one of the buildings on time.

"Listen Fullmetal, I am going to shoot flames at him for a while, find the right time to attack him when he least expects it."

"That wont work." Edward said that like he knew something more than the obvious. "What do you mean, it wont work you- Ed cut him of. "There is no way I or you attack him without injuring him or us…"

Roy knew they didn't have much time so he asked rather stupid question just to let the kid come out with something or they are going to be in a big trouble. "Maybe so but if we injure him in a way he wont be able to continue anymore so we caught him- Edward did it again.

"Honestly I thought you of all people have pieced it together, what did the record on his way of using alchemy say huh?!" Roy was a little annoyed but was actually glad that Edward was with him on this mission, yeah he was a little annoying himself but when he needed a plan he relied on the young alchemist's sharp mind after all it was what gets him into trouble and gets him out of it.

"He manipulates the elements in the blood and turns it into an iron object or something containing iron." After spelling that out loud he got the idea.

"Exactly, we don't have to let him use his alchemy, we need to surround him in a trap so that he can't move. He will probably try to either attack us or try to cut himself to use his alchemy. As long as we dodge his attacks and he dodges ours it should work. You still have your communication device right?" After he managed to figure it out he gave The Colonel a nob which probably meant let's go.

"Yes I do, you know , that head of your is more useful than I though, I am really not use to follow orders, especially from you, be ready for a little payback after we finish with this." The older man said and they came out of their hiding spot.

They weren't sure where their enemy was but they had found him sooner or later. They started the fight, Edward trying to trap the criminal in a cage or something but he capped dodging, maybe he knew what the two were up to somehow. The military officer on the other hand was using the gun he had been caring in case his gloves get wet and decided to use it instead because he knew that the other alchemist will definitely dodge a gun shot, he maybe need to injure himself but not to kill himself. The three alchemists kept on moving like they were running away from each other. It was like the alchemist enemy was trying to go somewhere without running away. At one point he stopped moving and looked at the roof one of the older, left on the verge of collapsing building, more specifically at the humanoid figure standing there watching at them all in the dark. The military soldiers looked at what ever of who ever was that. That was the moment when the iron blooded alchemist ran to that building, he obviously knew the two soldiers will follow him in. "Hey get back here!" Edward was running right behind him as well as Mustang. They could not catch his for some reason, when he got to the third floor the alchemist prodigy clapped his hands and finally caught his leg and arm so he couldn't run away. "Good luck running away now!" the young state alchemist said.

"You caught him Fullmetal, good work. As for you, to make it easy for you, you better explain all of the crimes you have committed before we take you to custody!" The Flame alchemist said with his harsh cold voice.

"Like I would, I rather die than tell you bastards about our plans!" Their enemy spoke after a while but the word that came out of his mouth pissed off the blond boy ranked as a dog of the military. "Our plans?" The older man said but his words were overpowered by Ed's.

"You will tell us right now or I will make your wish come true!" He shouted. The Colonel pulled him back a little to calm him down. "Easy Fullmetal."

"You got quite the mouth for a little kid, but be careful now, your little brother wont be happy to see you come back dead will he, or should it be the other way around." The criminal said once again, pissing off Edward even more, it was like he was doing it on purpose, what ever he was doing he succeeded, Ed finally snapped.

"You don't dare lay a finger on my brother!" He clap his hands hard once again, transmuting the ground into sharp stone spike and pointing it at the enemy but right before it hit him a person appeared right before him and took the impact on himself, laying on the ground for a few second he stand up again and said. "You never learn not to mess with us do you pipsqueak."

Both Ed and Roy's eyes widened. "E-Envy! What in the hell are you doing here?!" Edward said at him, he sounded like he was going to kill him in any second, the Colonel was looking at the young boy and wondered, why is he so angry, was it because of what have happened In lad 5 or what, but what he worried him the most was that the boy was not only angry he looked frightened.

"I am glad you asked, I was coming to help my partner but actually I wanted to get to kill one of you myself to be honest, what do you say?!" The homunculus looked at them both with an insane look.

"Fullmetal, don't do anything reckless alright, he is serious, play by his rules and we are dead! Are you listening to me!? Don't let the hatred control you!" Roy said grabbing his young subordinate's arm to stop him and trying talking some sense into him. Edward has snapped which wasn't good, once he does he goes without thinking. Roy looked at the young man, hoping that even for once he will listen to him, but by the looks of it that wasn't going to happen. Ed's bang were covering his eyes, his head looking down, quiet and unmoving.

"S-sorry Colonel but, I have unfinished business with him." He finally spoke still looking down, drawing his hand away from his grip and slowly walking towards the horrifying looking homunculus, clapping his hand once again turning his automail hand into a blade and stroking him.

"Fullmetal stop it!" The Colonel shouted at Edward once more but he did not want to get between the two because he might get killed in process.

"Aww, how sweet, but…I can do that too you know, or did you forget! Let me remind you!" Envy the homunculus of jealousy said transforming his arm into a metal spike with his shape sifting powers. He attacked him as well and they continued fighting until one of them is down. Edward was falling down on his knees, getting hit in the walls but he never gave up. The homunculus made a cut on the young state alchemist's flesh arm and crushed him into the wall, but this time he did not stand back up. A few drops of blood were on the ground close to the other villain. He was waiting for the write moment to use what is left of it. While that Colonel Mustang rushed over to his superior, to see if he was okay. "Fullmetal! Are you alright?!" He said worriedly. After a minute or two the boy answered. "Y-yeah, fine." Right after he said that Roy slapped him to snap him out of it. "Damn it! Snap out of it Edward! Look what have you done to yourself!" The boy looked at him with wide eyes as he was shouting at him. That was the perfect time for the enemy to attack. The Iron blooded alchemist used his free hand to draw a transmutation circle and transmuted a metal blade little as a knife and threw it at The Colonel. The younger alchemist noticed it right away and shot right before Mustang. And the only thing that followed was The boy's scream filled with pain and agony and the sound of his now unmoving half dead body falling on the ground.

Lol, that chapter was intense, don'tcha thing guys. Hope you liked it. I am putting my heart and soul into this fanfiction because i want it to work out better. I am probably going to be uploading every mounth because I am quite busy so excuse me guys.
